    Recipe......
Pounded yam flour abou 2 cups ( For two person)
    Hot water
A bowl and wooden spatula for mixing.
    Preparation.......
Pour yam flour into a bowl, add hot water and stir immediately to combine,
add a little bit more water to soften fufu if it is too hard then continue mixing
Spread the fufu inside the bowl to enable fufu cook in the middle, place into a microwave and cook for 5 minutes in a high heat, after this time, bring it out and mix again, cook again for another 5 minutes until the colour changes from pure white to a bit grey that indicate it is ready.

    Yam flour is called pounded

Yam flour is called pounded yam after preparing it like dumplings, in Africa we use a mortar and pestle to pound cooked yam, that's were we got the name pounded yam.🤗

@@navinaskitchen. I ate fufu at a Ghanan restaurant and loved it. The Ghanan owner of the restaurant (in the US) said it is white yam. I looked online and it said that white yam is cassava. I was thrilled to find cassava flour for sale on Amazon. Now I don’t know if cassava is white yam and if cassava flour will make fufu like I ate at the restaurant. What she has here in the video looks like what I had. Help! M

So you think you know it better than I do?😄 I called it fufu in my video because majority calls all swallow fufu, even if we locally calls it akpu, remember 80% don't know what is akpu but swallow or fufu, be wise and stop being dramatic for nothing.
