This is an absolutely BRILLIANT video. Awesome!!! I have watched 100s of videos about Egypt and the pyramids. This is one of the all time best videos. I have always wanted to see just what the pyramids were like close up and as a whole. Without stupid music too loud and brash. And voiceovers. It is so wonderful just to be able to hear all the natural sounds. And the sound of the cameraman's footsteps crunching in the sand. The are so many beautiful lingering shots that you can pause at any time and really take everything in. I loved every minute of it. Just finished. i'm going to watch it through right from the beginning straight away. Completely fabulous.

I have watched many documentaries on pyramids but none of those has shown the outside of pyramids and its surroundings with such a useful extent and detail. Your video was of great help for me to grasp the layout and arrangement of the three big pyramids and dozens of other smaller structures like tombs, sphinx, the bed rock and many other things like roads, bus stops, camels and the tourist crowd etc. Interestingly, i came to know from your video that there are a few boats buried as well. I would say, very well done and many thanks for your effort. I wish I could give dozens of likes. Anyways , gave one at least and subscribed.

    This was excellent!
I have seen 100's of videos of the pyramids and this was the first time I actually got a feel for the sheer scale of the complex.
All I kept thinking about was the amount of work that went into the construction of just one of the pyramids.
Just cutting out the bedrock to make a level surface would have been a huge task, and that was before even one stone was laid in the actual pyramid itself.
I can't imagine standing there at the beginning and thinking "How in the hell are we going to build this massive thing."
