For the best viewing experience, be sure to watch on a large smart TV like the Samsung Frame. Closed Captions [CC] which include historical facts and descriptions are available in all languages. This tour was filmed using amazing Binaural Audio 🎧 which is a method of recording sound that uses two microphones, arranged with the intent to create a 3-D stereo sound sensation for the listener of actually being there.

On the one hand, it's a bit eerie that it's so empty and quiet, but on the other hand, it makes the experience of Pompeii better without all the noise. This my favorite video tour of Pompeii.
It is eerie. My husband and I stayed there after closing time and have too run to the exit before it was not totally dark. Don’t recomend.
Isaac! Your channel truly is a huge gift to many people, who could not, for various reasons, travel to all the amazing places that you share with us. Thank you!
Thank you so much for a great video. On 29th April 24, I visited Pompeii, with a guided tour and then on our own. We saw the recently opened House of the Vettii. That was stunning. We also visited Herculaneum. Your videos have helped orientate us around both :-)
The upgrades and excavations made to Pompeii since I was last there in 1993 is simply incredible. Back then it looked like a archeological site...today it looks like Augustus could come strolling out of a corner thermopleum.
Visited Pompeii in 1995. Beautiful experience. There weren't too many tourists during my visit. Love this video
Loved that you didn’t feel the need to add music to the video. The sound of your foot steps on the gravel and cobblestones is very relaxing. I’ve been twice as a chaperone for a student group as a quick stop with a 1 hour tour before heading to catch the ferry to Greece. There is just so much to see and your video showed me all the back alleys, and nooks and crannies I’d love to spend hours exploring.
All days, after dinner, my husband and me see your videos. This is our favorite moment. Those beauties all these images. We travel for free with you. Your work is complete and exemplary, the history, links for plans or additional information are remarkable. Thank you for your excellent work.
So beautiful video,without a crowd...Bravo!
Love from Greece ❤
It would be amazing to see a cast of robed actors playing the part of these ancient Pompeians going about their daily lives. Of course, it's in ruins so it's limited how much they could do without some reconstruction. Pompeii had a population estimated at about 11,000 to 11,500. Thanks for the tour. A walk back in time when life was more simple and short, the threat of war always there, part of culture. History and time stands still here. It's all mind boggling.
👍😎🇨🇦🌿 The silver lining of the Pandemic: seeing such ancient places without the crowds.
Thank you. I love history docs, and tours of historical sights. Why I enjoy this video is because of lack of extraneous dialog. No blah, blah, blah about non relevant, or personal material, plus slow, carful panning of the area. Thank you again.
Wonderful with the empty streets we can almost see the people of Pompeii going about their lives.
It's a wonderful experience for me amazing tour feel like I living in this era great tour pomoaeii
Just adding a curiosity to this rich tour, Pink Floyd performed at the Amphitheater in 1972, giving one of their most memorable performances.
I'm so excited! I love these more historical walks ( I love them all, but especially these. 😊)
This one is a bit different because there are no tourists. I hope you enjoy it.
This is a very interesting, enjoyable and beautiful learning experience, thank you for taking this long journey and sharing it with us, also preserving it for many more people. When I was 14, my mum took me to the top of Vesuvius and to Pompeii. I have been struck and fascinated ever since I'd read a Readers' Digest collection in a book, with a story about Pompeii. That got me hooked, around the age of 8 or so. The journey has been a font of memories, which I've shared with friends many times. Thank you for putting the subtitles, indicating valuable information. It is very rare to see a place like this empty, and it gives you the chance to appreciate it in a whole new way. It is
so impressing what great architects the Romans were, their providing fresh water, a sewage system, plumbing, etc. It had mod cons we
didn't rediscover until much later. Seeing all the sad figures in the museum, including a poor, once chained dog in the throes of agonizing
death impacted me very deeply. It was a powerful experience then and I'm so glad that thanks to modern technology, the city is now
being recorded by modern means, to the point where they've even found charred scrolls, & with laser, etc., these writings may be
virtually unwrapped and even deciphered. It boggles the mind. Again, thank you for your very fascinating journey into history.
Outstanding video with a very educational dialog! It brings back some wonderful memories when I visited Pompeii a couple years ago. The lack of tourists just made your video even better. Keep up the wonderful work that you do!
Una visita molto molto Speciale ❤ Grazie infinite 😊😊
Greetings from your friends in Naples, Florida. What a nice day for a walk. We enjoyed the sights, sounds and scenery. So much to see there. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week 👍 💯 ❤
Amazing tour! We have so much snow in Colorado today that work and school were cancelled, and I had time to knit and visit Pompeii. Thank you.
Yeah, my buddy lives there and told me about the snow. Glad you got a day off to knit and hang out.
Wonderful!! Marvelous that you should care for my never ending love for Pompei!! Thank you again.
I always enjoy going there and see what homes or areas are open that I haven't seen before. It always fills you with wonder.
YEEEESSSSSSS! I'm getting on my treadmill right now. This is perfect
That is such a good idea! I have a difficult time getting motivated to exercise so watching these videos could actually help me stay focused. I will have to give it a try! :)
thanks that was amazing well filmed
Hey, thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I’m surprised Julia Felix lived so close to the ampitheatre. She probably could hear the fans screaming all day.
I had no idea it was this extraordinary! Thank you so much!❤
BBC has a new documentary on a new dig. Exciting.
A presto ciao ti voglio bene❤da Barcellona😂
Great video! Thanks 🇷🇺
Hey, you are very welcome!
Fantastic "walking tour," once again ... Thanks for sharing these priceless strolls ... ❤
It's amazing historical sites
I have seen all your walks in Pompei, this one is amazing¡¡¡Thank you so much Isaac
Thanks for saving me a few thousand for a trip to Pompeii. Sure, I'd love to see it in person but I've been to Italy and I can translate my stay there to incorporate this tour as if I had actually gone. I breathed the Italian air, walked among the steadfast Italian Stone Pine [Pinus pinea], drank in the antiquity of the fabled country.
I'll watch this tomorrow... Since it's half past ten in the evening here in the 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Thanks. ❤❤ Iran 💙💙 Italy
Woah, this is freaking amazing!!! I can't believe the lack of people that are there. Why do you think that was, just an off day for some reason? And thank you very much for all of the info that you included in the subtitles; I never learned so much about Pompeii before. Excellent tour my friend, thank you! 👍🔥😎
C'était à cause du covid
This is amazing! Thank you for taking us with you as you walk the streets of Pompeii and explain its history. This is such a thoughtful and informative video of an archeological treasure. I’ve been fascinated with Pompeii since I was a child and will be going to see it for the first time later this year. You’ve inspired me to really explore Pompeii!
Hey, glad you enjoyed it. I have a few other videos of Pompeii, but this one is my most complete: czcams.com/video/sUYJ8LbF1Ys/video.html
@@ProWalksThanks for letting me know about your other Pompeii videos. I can’t wait to watch! I appreciate your attention to detail and how you take your time exploring and taking it all in.
This is an excellent video, thank you. I was there 25 years ago, was just commenting to my daughter who wasn’t born at the time, she should see it as it’s hard for me to describe. Thanks again!
I so enjoy your videos. And thank you for stopping to film the black kitty. 😊😊
I thought the same!!
@deniselkinne 1131 Yes, I loved seeing the little kitty, too. I hope it's being given food by the staff or survives well in that area.
I feel badly for all the humans, especially slaves, maybe even gladiators as well as for all the poor animals at the time of the eruption, who were restrained and could not run to save themselves, and no one thought of releasing them. I hope all the souls who perished, including in the amphitheatre, are able to rest in peace.
Love your videos! I wish to visit there one day
Incredible !
Thank you so much for this great Tour of parts of Pompeii I had not seen. Please keep them coming.
The captions with information are so well done and informative -- thank you for that and for this wonderful tour. I would like to see more of the insides of decorated rooms -- maybe on your next tour. So appreciated!
Can almost hear the donkey carts rattling down the streets. Wonderful Video Sir.
Incredible you practically have the place to yourself. I did this at Versailles in December 1980, took quite a lot of photos in the Gardens, not a soul except the camera and myself which made for a very eerie atmosphere
@55:02 What an amazing view of what's left of the "mountain". In old paintings, Vesuvius is painted with a normal mountain peak. Now, you can see just how much of the top exploded in the eruption. It must have been absolutely terrifying.
¡Espectacular video!
Fantastic! Great for us researchers who need to study the place but can't travel there at an instant. Many thanks!
Greetings from Istanbul
I´m in love with the ancient Rom. Pompeii is just perfect but i feel a little nostalgic.
ONE OF THE BEST VİDEOS WHAT İ SEEN ON CZcams . GREAT ! THANK YOU !
Wonderful! Thank you!
Great video!! Thank you, from Rio.
nice walkthrough
I so need this in VR!
Lindo.
Muito obrigado.
dobra reklama, chce tam pojechać! muszę tam pojechać!
I’ve been in Pompeii once many-many years ago, it was same empty, so I’m not surprised.
My memories of that place are quiet good, the trip there was interesting like to every museum at the opened air, plus I saw & talked to couple of local people. Thanks for reminding!
Memories of place quiet good. It wasn't so quiet when i was there, but it was quite good.
Thank you ❤
Hope to visit one day
Astounding
Amazing once again! You rock! This video was just in time for me to get some more ideas of what to see when I'm there next (very soon).
I really enjoyed watching this in chunks while getting work in on the treadmill. Herculaneum again next? (I've seen the other herc videos 😁) or maybe another of the excavated sites? Just more ideas for you! Keep it up, and thanks again.
Really recommend a good video👍💯
Brilliant. Thank you so much. A testimony to people’s belief that Vesuvius will not erupt in their lifetime.
Prowalk sei un grande!!!
Thank you. Looking forward to this one. Straight in with no intro/preview is unusual for Prowalks, no? I guess it was so quiet as this was back in the peak Covid days?
A Big Like! 👍 💯 ❤
Pink Floyd played a concert there!
I've read about Pompeii in books and in films and tv shows
over the years but actually seeing it here is so very magnificent
Thank You for this video and take care.💞🏛️🏟️🏛️💞
A city without its people is not a city. It is a body without its soul. however following this video with the footnotes is very instructive.
Excelente tu canal 😉👏
Tôi thích mọi thứ liên quan tới La Mã ❤
Well said Rolando Michael.. previous commentor.
Hi Isasc. Been there many yrs ago. Spookie, but interesting. Thanks for the video. Hope you do a video of the Sorrento area with all its lemons and yellow colors.
Ciao. Be careful. C 😊
Esplendoroso trabalho realizado com a divulgação deste vídeo. Parabéns ao autor.
Maravilhoso ❤
great^^
Valeu!
Hey, thanks so much! I really appreciate the support! I hope you enjoy the video. I had to get there right when it opened on that day to see it without other people.
Woot!?! Must be Ai effect 😂😂😂. But beautiful video anyway. Thanks for the walk 😁
Did the ash cover the entire Amphitheater right to the top ? And were there any barriers or a fence to protect the spectators from the wild animals ? Or a disgruntled combatant from stabbing a hater in the crowd ? Because the wall seems sort of low there 7:35
I wonder if there is electricity inside the pizza restaurant inside the Forum. If so, how did they run the wires? Or is it a wood-fire pizza oven inside and no power? I am struck by the scale of the ruins- much larger than I expected. Thank you!
Yes, it's a regular restaurant inside. Been in there many times. I haven't paid attention the wires, but they have electricity running all over the place there. Yeah, pompeii is huge.
I see you have a "weakness" for ruins, please film the Roman cloaca at Marina Grande next time you visit Capri.
Not totally empty but a great place and video
I was wondering about the width of the gated entrances. I see a ramp for access but are those gates 33" (81.28 cm) wide?
To You, 2,000 Years From Now
Respect. It's 2021, have you been recently? Has anything changed?
3:07:07 Overhead the albatross...
Olá meu amigo, tem algum vídeo do Vaticano? Não estou encontrando...
📹👍🏽
I wondered why it was so quiet and why people were wearing masks, then I noticed the date, 2021, middle of the covid pandemic
Yeah, at the time I had so many other videos to post up and I had just posted another Pompeii walk just a few months before so I didn't want to post another right away.....and then 3 years went by. Goes fast.
