They were at their best live in 77-83 in my opinion. Saw them in 81, 83 and 90❤ Dee Dee's bass playing and backing vocals were pretty awesome in this show
Johnny was a Ronald Reagan kind of right-winger. He didn't like Dee Dee beacuse he was a heroin addict; he didn't like Tommy because of his alcoholism and as any right-winger he only cared for himself, thus not having any problem stealing Joey's girlfriend: "The KKK Took My Baby Away". So, basically, Johnny looked down on everyone in the band. Greetings from Portugal.
I drove Joey and Dee Dee to get Jack in the Box after soundcheck once... the pimply kid behind the counter was terrified of these two guys in leather jackets for some reason and said, "Are you gonna rob us..?" Dee Dee replied, "Yeah; give all yuh tacos..." True story...

They were at their best live in 77-83 in my opinion. Saw them in 81, 83 and 90❤ Dee Dee's bass playing and backing vocals were pretty awesome in this show
Plus he smoked pole for smack money....what a guy.
@@billriddle9215 Better than you'll ever be bum.
My favorite shot from this concert is 13:58 - 14:02. The camera pulls back showing a transition from Johnny looking at Deedee 👌
@@rodrigofonseca6241 Yep and Joey and DeeDee were the best songwriters til the End.
Short. Sweet. Loud. To the point. No B.S.
The Godfathers of Punk Rock.
