Ramones es el primer álbum del grupo estadounidense de punk rock Ramones. En el disco presenta las primeras corrientes de este género musical, además de apreciarse influencias de grupos pertenecientes a la British Invasion (grupos ingleses que triunfaron en EE. Brutal ,magníficos Ramones, los conocí musicalmente a través de mi hermano, al principio no me iban pero cuando profundicé me hice fan , hace un año que falleció mi hermano y estoy escuchando este álbum en su honor y en el de Ramones me encanta for ever , ❤️❤️❤️
Mi sobrino Hector un dia llevaba la tipica camiseta de los Ramones, la que les hizo famoso, y le pregunte si sabia quienes eran los Ramones, obviamente al ser un millenial no tenia ni idea, menos mal que alli estaba su tio para enseñarle, lo primero que le explique fue quienes eran los Ramones, una banda de punk-rock que hicieron famosos en las decadas de los 70, los 80 y parte de los 90 y que su era una de las bandas que su tio solia escuchar junto con otras bandas de punk-rock cuando tenia entre los 16 y los 17 años, y que el lema que llevaba en su camiseta "Heyyy hoooo, lets gooo" fue unos grito de guerra que les hicieron famosos gracias a una de sus canciones "Blitzkrieg Bop" junto con el nombre los integrantes de la banda original. A continuacion cogi mi movil, me connecte a Spotify donde en mi cuenta tengo varios de los albums de los Ramones y precisamente le puse este, el que es para sin duda el mejor de toda la discografia de los Ramones. Le gusto tanto que creo que se aun les sigue escuchando y se ha convertido en otro fan de los Ramones 😁😁

O tempo vai passando e esse álbum dos Ramones não envelhece. Um dos melhores álbuns de estreia de todos os tempos.
De los mejores albumes debut de todos los tiempos, una aplanadora que durante poco menos de media hora te descalabra los sesos y te hace enloquecer como un demonio, gracias eternas desgarbados chicos de NY por salvar el rock and roll...larga vida al punk.
Can’t believe I’ve outlived the Ramones…I must be gettin’ old. I was an FM radio DJ back when they got signed and my GF went down to NYC fir the weekends to hang at Sire studios to watch some friends (Stanky Brown Band) record their second LP. She came back with a cassette of the band in Studio B at the same time, saying “…they all dressed alike in biker jackets and torn jeans, looked alike and had the same last name..all the songs were the same tempo..” And then then the promo LP came into the station around 6 months later and she said “THAT’s THEM! The other band that was in the studios! The Ramones!”

Quintessential. A very 'dark' and menacing album when it came out; 'Rock stars' were blow-dried, painted-up, platform-booted dandies or down-home denim-clad, dusty-booted 'outlaw gangs'. Among the albums of 1976 were career-height records by Aerosmith, the Eagles, Peter Frampton, Kiss and for the curious rock fans who wanted something different, there was this...thing. One the stark monotone cover the foursome looked less a 'band' than a squad, and the 'music' was fourteen blasts of shockingly brief, brutally 'primitive' songettes, all just around two minutes long. There was generally only one vocal and the backing was reduced to a stark but extremely powerful rhythm machine. "Ramones" sounded like the subway; blasts of noise followed by sudden silence. In an age when big-name 'rock' albums took several months to complete, "Ramones' sounded as simple as the original rock'n'roll songs of the 1950s and 60s. Among many others, this is a key reason for the album's eternal freshness. It sounds like it was recorded in the practice room and the energy level was simply too absurd for 1976.

Escuchaste alguna vez MC5, The Stooges o New York Dolls? anteriores a los ramones y bastante mas interesantes

I played "i wanna be your boyfriend" when i asked my wife to marry. She said yes obviously lol. We had 10 good married years. I lost her 2 years ago. This song makes me think of her and our life together. Helps me feel better when im depressed.

Escuchar el primer tema del primer disco de los Ramones es extraño. Es como si sólo con eso pudieras saber toda su historia, su pasado y su futuro. La portada tambièn, tipos condenados al èxito.
Uno de los mejores discos de Rock de todos los tiempos!!! Junto con Raw Power, Velvet Nico, Ziggy Stardust, Singles de Elvis en la Sun, rubber soul!!! Ramones eternos!!!!

Love the Ramones forever! I was fortunate to see them blast through a 25 minute set (on a tiny balcony stage left of the main stage) that was like one giant classic punk song! They actually opened for White Zombie on their Super Freak 2000 tour at a sold out show in Michigan. Great memories.

Corto como todos sus discos ,repetitivos sin un maldito solo de guitarra ,letras infantiles , melodías sin nada de nada , malísimo el batería ,el guitarra inexistente , la industria no los trato mal , es que eran muy malos coño, no sabían tocar los instrumentos (dicho por ellos mismos) con Sector pensaron que claro por fin tendrían éxito pero ni con Spector vendieron un pimiento , de hecho los mandó a su casa y grabaron el disco músicos de estudio .

True story. Ramones were playing a venue in Royal Oak MI in the 70’s. They were scheduled to play multiple shows. I showed up with friends. There were 5 of us anyways. It was my idea to go as I knew about the Ramones as I bought their 2nd album. We walk into the place they were playing & there was two kids already there along with the Ramones on stage playing. The two kids were totally digging it. Because we were living in Detroit and Jim had the car and didn’t care for the Ramones at all he left and everyone followed since Jim had the only transportation home. I still hate myself to this day for leaving and not at least meeting the Ramones. Detroit has always been judge mental when it comes to Rock & Roll. It’s the toughest town in the world. The Ramones still showed up

If you’re like me and like the early Ramones the best, that’s what they were playing. Like I said, we walked out and they were playing, it was Ramones all the way. This debut album is a classic among itself which was welcomed by the underground punk scene within the following year would unite. The Ramones definitely entered scene reviving the music which from 64 - 68 was missing and made it greater than it's ever sounded.
What about the self-titled Stooges album from 1969? That was in a very similar league to this album, it was the bridge between the garage rock started by bands like The Kinks and the punk rock started by bands like The Ramones
@@Jipwell the Stooges debut album did have some cool stuff but if they stayed on their own lane this album would be a debut classic five songs I dug 1969, I Wanna Be Your Dog, No Fun, Not Right. Raw Power is their best album.
@@mbrand19971 I have to agree that Raw Power is definitely the best Stooges album, it’s my second of all time. I’d say that their debut is definitely the weakest of the original trilogy, but that honestly goes to show their strength as a band if anything else; it’s the soundtrack for the underdog.
