Crystal, thanks so much for the compliment on my Spring Quilt. I love the amount of detail in a Stoney Creek pattern. That lace table cloth was my mom's so it is very special. JT is doing great. He moved last November to a new town which is 5 hours away from us so we don't get to visit like we used to. However, he calls me every week. Just spoke with him last night and he is doing well and is very happy in his new home, so that is all that matters. Happy Stitching! Dena

Carolyn, thank you so much for the compliment on Spring Quilt. I have kitted up Summer Quilt to start at some point. I had planned on starting 40 new starts this year, however, I have already started several I hadn't planned so I need to count now and figure out where the total will be as of now if I don't add any more unplanned starts. Yes, it has been an adjustment for JT to move so far away, but he is so happy that it makes it all good. We talk every week in fact he called last night, so I get to chat with him as often as I did, just not see him. It will be good for him though. BTW, I have the same Chatelaine you are stitching. Mine has been in time out for over 2 years. I guess I need to give it some love sometime soon. LOL. Dena

I love the spring quilt finish. I just finished autumn and will be on to spring next:) I enjoy Stoney Creek patterns and will have to get the summer and winter one yet.
I am not sure when I will start the Summer Quilt, but I have kitted it up fully since finishing Spring. LOL. Dena

Linda, oh my yes, Cocoa's bark is big and it scares people when they come to the door for a delivery, etc. She sounds like she would be a force to be reckoned with, but I don't think she would ever bite. Maybe if she felt my hubby was in danger. I have seen her put herself between him and an aggressive dog once and I was impressed! Dena

Hi! Oh spring quilt is beautiful! And btw you look great in the soft blue.Oh the box is such a soft green,looks great. Oh my cranberry Christmas is fantastic and the drum. Wow,have them started but didn’t love the green called for so want to start - sometime. 😅 have to stop so will continue in a bit, but posting this as soon as often lose it! Easter looks good, I only have 2 bunnies non stitched and 1 done but not fully finished and one half stitched. Find i forget to switch out the small holidays ie totally didn’t put valentines last yr, gave 2 st paddys. Lol

Are you using 1 strand or 2 strands for the Poinsettia Fairy? If only 1 strand, you might want to consider doubling the amount of floss necessary for completion.
Angie, I am using 2 strands because that is what is called for and our guidelines were to do what was called for in fabric, fibers and stitching instructions. Thanks, Dena
What makes a Quaker a Quaker?
Angie, it is the style of the motifs. I believe it started with a group of people (perhaps in Pennsylvania), but I'm not certain of where. Anyway, all Quaker patterns have those individual symmetrical motifs. Dena
