Remember guys, these What-If Episodes are 1 in a million timelines, im pretty sure the director stated that Thanos wins in most cases but this is the few where he doesnt, the same for the zombies as Zombie Captian America was in 1 part when he was summoned. There are timelines where T’Challa died from Thanos or Thanos wiped out all the zombies. But its these few timelines that we are seeing.

Thanos was actually a hero because in the eternals movie 2021 the celestial in earth needed people to grow and when it came to a required amount the emergence would begin and the earth would just crumble (didnt watch the full movie) so thanos just killed 50% of the population that slowed the growth

He had turned softer and likely hadn’t gottten as much training when he was killed by his children, he likely was teamed up on by the avengers for the zombies, and I believe that the infinty stones were not being used to their full power, and that’s why Vultron was able to split Thanos in half with the mind stone
I always remember a quote from stan lee, talking about how whoevers stronger is decided by the writer. Its more important to have fun with these characters than to expect their strength to be consistent, even when looking at media other than comic books

Both of them have experienced a battle against the Hulkbuster armor: Cull went up against a more advanced suit and was pretty much wrecking it beyond belief while Hulk had lost in a fight against a more earlier suit. Now granted, there are a lot of factors in both fights to where it is not simple to just compare the two but just going off of basic information, I think it's fair to say Cull is on Hulk's level at least by a little. So having him fight a Thanos (What If) who doesn't have any stones, probably isn't as experienced in fighting as in IW... I think it's plausible that he could beat him down.

@@deeznutz7255 I'd actually have to disagree with you there. Cull should actually be on par with the Hulk and here's why. Both of them have experienced a battle against the Hulkbuster armor: Cull went up against a more advanced suit and was pretty much wrecking it beyond belief while Hulk had lost in a fight against a more earlier suit. Now granted, there are a lot of factors in both fights to where it is not simple to just compare the two but just going off of basic information, I think it's fair to say Cull is on Hulk's level at least by a little. So having him fight a Thanos (What If) who doesn't have any stones, probably isn't as experienced in fighting as in IW... I think it's plausible that he could beat him down.
@@treyrex5987Not even close. Spider man managed to hold his hammer for a moment without breaking sweat. If Spiderman tried to stop Hulk's punch he'd be smashed, Hulk stopped and destroyed a huge Chitauri ship with one fist alone.
