This would be a very tough challenge for Thanos. The avengers may be inexperienced, and the heroes are fewer, but Odin and the Ancient One are both alive and fit to fight.

One tweak: the reality stone would’ve been kept on Asguard in this reality because the space stone would already be with Thanos. The reason Odin had it sent to Knowhere was because he didn’t want two in the same place.
Odin vs Thanos would have been a really great fight. Probably the MCU equivalent of Dumbledore vs Voldemort. A shame we didn't see the power of Gungnir

Because he already had all the Avengers including someone like Thor who is far more experienced than Carol. The situation was completely under control in this film. In Infinity War everyone was dusting away they already lost the battle so that's why he had to call Captain Marvel.

Honestly, I thought thanos would play mind games with the Avengers to study their abilities for even More of an inevitable Defeat in Avengers Infinity war and/or Endgame. Other then that, 10/10 best one I hear in a long time.

It’s funny how they chose to use electricity as the object to incapacitate Thor? The god of thunder? There isn’t any electricity we know of that can match a lightning bolt, which he channels all the time. They’re millions of volts and thousands of amperes (which is really the part that kills, not volts). I think I would have had the device inject a knockout drug, but then they wouldn’t have the visual of Thor shaking and jittering around, but it would’ve made more sense.

They both most likely would have been in Cap’s team, especially Hulk. But maybe Thor would have tried to jump to different conclusions, and be more or less passive to either team. At the end of the day he’s the God of Thunder and (at the time) soon-to-be-King of Asgard, it’s not a huge problem for Thor to have the Avengers abide by the government (though he might understand why the Earth’s governments would be so fearful of beings like him and the Avengers and understand the mess he’s made in this world, Earth, having an effect on the beings, the humans, that live in it and their views), nor would he find it important to enforce such rules. Government-wise, I don’t even think he has the knowledge to even be apart of the argument. He’d be much more focused on keeping the team together and, to be fairly honest, probably could’ve made it more possible to do so.

Can you imagine how much more dramatic the movie and Loki would have been. I don’t think the events of Thor 1 would’ve happened though, or at least not the same way since Loki was heavily influenced by this reveal and it was most likely one of the biggest reasons he did what he did. And if the events of Thor 1 didn’t happen then the Avengers would not have been formed, unless Thanos would send someone else, another being, to do the job.

Hela couldn’t possibly have resurrected her army without the Eternal flame, and since she was at Midguard with no access to the bifrost she’d most likely use the infinity gauntlet to teleport her to Asgard. Seeing as to how Hela’s goal is to conquer the nine realms she’d probably use the Infinity gauntlet to help her on her quest.
Yeah plus she’s not going to wipe out half of the population. She’s less of a threat than Thanos. Just let Surtr destroy Asgard then those stones will return.

No Ashutos, vegetas entire motivation throughout the original run of DragonBall is centered on power and prestige. From wanting immorality so he can cultivate more power through the centuries, to wanting to overthrow freeza and take his place, and trying reach levels beyond super sayain.
It’s obvious for the ancient one we clearly saw her helping (kinda) in Endgame and didn’t help because she probably knew the avengers would need to do it on their own
Interesting take on the multiverse. It was very good up until the end when Hela basically pulled a Kaguya from Naruto Shippuden and third partied everybody.

Many people are saying that it would be much tougher like this for thanos as the ancient one, odin, the xandarian nova corps and nidavallir being gaurded by a full asgard along with many more people thanos feared would still be alive. This just goes to show how strategically the real mcu thanos thought these events through so that his enemies would be destroyed allowing him to make his move with ease.
That would mean that hulk would be locked up, and abomination would go rogue, and possibly needing it on man to take him down. Tony would have also been the only avenger back then. Or maybe fury would call captain marvel

Hela couldn’t possibly have resurrected her army without the Eternal flame, and since she was at Midguard with no access to the bifrost she’d most likely use the infinity gauntlet to teleport her to Asgard.
Seeing as to how Hela’s goal is to conquer the nine realms she’d probably use the Infinity gauntlet to help her on her quest.
Yeah plus she’s not going to wipe out half of the population. She’s less of a threat than Thanos. Just let Surtr destroy Asgard then those stones will return.

Many people are saying that it would be much tougher like this for thanos as the ancient one, odin, the xandarian nova corps and nidavallir being gaurded by a full asgard along with many more people thanos feared would still be alive. This just goes to show how strategically the real mcu thanos thought these events through so that his enemies would be destroyed allowing him to make his move with ease.

Sounds good except for Nebula helping the Avengers. I want to see a different story for Loki because he had both the mind and space stones.
Theory: what if MissedThepart is an alternate Kang, trying to make a perfect timeline, and his what ifs are those timelines.
I loved this fanfic, if you could continue this story like you've done with others in the past that'll be awesome.
Wanda was a nexus being, so the absence of mind stone won't affect her that much.
It is entirely possible that she would never develop any powers without the mind stone. TVA swooping in aside…Thanos attacking NYC in 2012 prevents Scarlet Witch from becoming a thing.

She's the bridge between MULTIVERSE, if getting rid of her was so easy then he who remains would have done that a lot earlier. He was the one who didn't wanted the other universes interact with our universe. Maybe WANDA unleashing her powers was the reason of the "threshold" as he mentioned in the finale.
