- Here's a lucky find from an eBay lot I recently acquired. There's even more breaks that I haven't uploaded from this tape. Interestingly, the Scooby Doo powerhouse bumpers are narrated by Frank Welker and the rest of the content is Doug Preis. Also because this is from Summer 2002, there's a bunch of PPG movie ads.

I remember watching cartoon network in 2002. It was a great year for the channel especially when it was it's 10th anniversary.
It certainly was.

I remember watching Cartoon Network in 2002. It was a GREAT YEAR for the Channel when It was it's 10th Anniversary. Just lost 40 pounds Riding that Bike in P.E. Class from January through March of that year, then starting do those push up from March through August 2002.
I wish there were yellow powerhouse bumpers for Johnny Bravo, 2 Stupid Dogs, Sheep in the Big City, Mike, Lu & Og, etc.
It seems that the 1997-2000 voice thats actually Scott Sanders and not Frank Welker stuck around for quite a while. I would say after 2000 no new Scott Sanders voiceovers were created but recycling audio was used until 2003 when they did the minor revamp of the powerhouse bumpers.
Recorded June 17th, 2002.

Announcer: Wouldn't it be great to experience the double feature in theaters again? Tune into the Boomerang Theater Double Feature Saturdays at 5 and you can. You'll see Ben 10, Scooby-Doo, Batman, Tiny Toons, Superman, and many more. Stay at home. Watch two free movies back to back and avoid getting all that gooey stuff at the bottom of your shoe.

The 1998 announcer is Scott Sanders, not Frank Welker.
I too was one of the many who said that Frank Welker was the 1997-2000 voice but I was corrected. It’s definitely Scott Sanders for sure because Frank’s natural voice is Fred from Scooby Doo and I see no resemblance in the voiceovers.
Who's Scott Sanders?
