I really love Shevana's aura inside the court. Whenever she makes a mistake hindi siya na rarattle, and knowing that she's a just a rookie mas lalo akong nae-excite kung paano pa mas titibay yung loob niya in the coming years. Confident Shevana will be very deadly.

Yup, she had a triple double performance here. Jolina and Almonte are really good OH, not that strong in scoring but uses smarts and when in a good day, very lethal in the floor.

I already said this from the previous game but this match really proves that Shevana is definitely the best replacement for Leila. The sets where she started were actually the sets that La Salle won. She may not yet be that fancy type of attacker but her presence definitely brings a huge impact in the game. Hirap attackers pag siya blocker and that's exactly what Leila brings in the game.
Trueee. Grabe yung intimidation factor na dala ng height nya sa harap. Plus di rin naman niya gaano need pumuntos thru spikes since kasabayan niya sa sa rotation sa harap si Gagate at Canino, mas need talaga nila yung depensa nya (which is something lacking kay Soreno, sa kanya always pinapadaan). Madedevelop pa yung palo niya. Actually nga, kahit di naco-convert agad into points palo nya, okay lang din kasi nagiging off system play yung kabilang team, so kahit papano mahihirapan din maka convert agad yung kalaban

For those people na nambbash sa coaching staff coz pinalitan s Shevana, the reason kung bakit sya di pinagstrt nung 2nd set, because lagi syang nalalaglagan ng bola pag nsa likod na sya nung 1st set. Sya na nga ang pinalitan ng libero and iniiwan s Thea as a back-liner. Di tlga bet n RDJ ang players n walang floor defense, kaya nga one reason din kng bakit s Leila ang mas priority ni RDJ instead na s Soreño was mas may dpensa si Leila s likod kht mas mlks pumalo si Bjne. Even yung timeout niremind na ni RDJ si Shevana na protect your zone no matter what. Sometimes need tlga ilabas ang player especially since rookie sya pra maiba yung POV nya sa game. Besides remember zero volleyball experience si Shevana so whatever she’s doing right, right now are all thanks sa mga coaches na nonstop na ng guide sa knya.
Agree...Si Coach RDJ talaga gusto ang player na may net at floor defense kahit di ka pa powerful spiker. I remember last season maraming nagbabash kay Mars at gusto ipalit si Coronel, pero nagstick prin c Coach kay Mars.Kulang pa kasi sa depensa c Coronel. Another player na di masyadong nagamit before was May Luna. Lakas pumalo pero kulang sa depensa rin.
In all fairness, it worked. May crucial digs sya nung 5th set na nakatulong sa kanila to seal the match
sana isub nalang si shevs ng defense specialist tuwing nasa likod, pero kapag frontline na ibalik si Laput. Super evident sa game na liable talaga sa blockings si soreño.
Laput needs to improve her floor defense. Sayang kasi kung papalitan. She has backrow attack kasi kaso hindi pa binibigyan ni Alba. Ayon yung dahilan kung bakit laging starter ai Cruz even though she’s not a power hitter. Sobrang solid ng blockings and floor defense n’ya.

Tingin ko dito sa game na ito may nakitang strategies si CRDJ kaya't ni-ramble n'ya yung rotation. Lalo't dito talaga makikita sa larong ito kung sinong best players for first 6 dahil malakas ang adu, nabo-boost kung anong kahinaan at kalakasan ng team.
That's why i think CRDJ did a great job in this game. Expect na si laput na ang first 6, lalo't malapit na ang final four.

magandang strategy ni crdj kasi alam nya ibibigay lahat ng adu ang alas nila para makuha ang twice to beat.kaya sinamantala ni crdj ang pagkakataon kung sinong tao gagamitin nya in case sa pinaka importanteng laro semis at sana sa finals.
Mas nakita nila butas nila dahil sa pag shuffle ng players, hence nakakapag adjust na sila ng strat. Mukhang nakakita na sila ng working rotation nila

Di lang kasi offense advantage nya pati na rin yung blockings nya parang Gumabao. Yung fifth set na pag block nya kay Tubu crucial at saka nakakawala kaya ng moral yun.
Sa game ng LaSalle talagang nakafocus sila sa system ni coach kahit natalo sila ng 2set. Hanggang sa huli hindi sila sumuko. Focus lang talaga. Effective na rin yung blocking nila ngayon. Sana sanayin na rin si provido sa floor alam kong may impact din siya sa floor.
Narattle nga sila sa 2nd at 3rd set at inamin mismo yan ni Canino dahil siya ang dahilan kung bakit natalo sila sa isang set na yun.
Ang gulo kasi ng depensa nung 2nd at 3rd. Game plan siguro nila. Yung tatlo Ang kukuha ng bola . Yung tatlo pokus sa opensa. Kaso si angel at soreno nakikipag agawan sa bola kaya Ayun walang opensa. Nung 4th at 5th yung tatlo na uli pokus sa floor yung tatlo sa net at opensa. Kaya Ayun nanalo sila.

I think Coach Ramil should really learn from this. Mas maganda galaw nila kapag si Laput ang nasa first 6. At with Laput sa harapan naprepressure yong kalaban pumalo kasi nga malaki si Laput. At isa pang napansin ko si Soreño ang nagpapagulo sa defense pattern ng la salle, mahilig siyang umagaw ng mga digs kaya naguguluhan yong mga kasama nya at pag dating sa blocking talaga biggest weakness nya yon kaya nga natalo sila sa Uste kasi halos sa kanya pinadaan yong mga spikes ng kalaban.

After the "experiment" the coaching staffs made in this game, I think we can all agree that Laput should be the starting Opp. As much as we love Bjyne, her season 84 form is nowhere to be seen! Hopefully, makarecover and bumalik next season. But for now, Laput muna.

Mas priority ni CRDJ yung depensa kaya pinasok niya si Soreño sa set 2 and 3 kasi counterpart si Almonte na may depensa din and ramdam ni coach na maeexpose ng malala sa game na to si Laput if ibabad nila ng husto. Ang medyo nararattle talaga si Bjyne pero either way she played well naman siguro nandun pa rin yung pressure since siya yung pumalit kay Leila but maganda din yung decision ng coach na ibabad na si Laput sa near end ng game at this competition para maexpose sa big crowds and perform to do well kasi mahirap yung adjustment lalo na pag paend na ng laban. Kaya good thing rin na siya ang ginamit na strat nung nainjury si Leila. On the other side nandiyan pa naman si Alleiah but again in terms of blocking di rin siya effective as Leila so tama lang na si Shevana talaga. Different style of attacks ang meron kay Alleiah at Angel same with Shevana and Leila kaya magagamit talaga sila sa latter part which is expected na din naman. I hope Leila goes well after this season. Grabe yung depensa at sipag. Remember siya lang yung pilit na lumaban against NU last season. Kailangan makuha nila ang championship this season!

Laput> Soreño, we know Coach Ramil is building Soreños confidence however he should maximize Laput more. In the past few games especially this game is evident that height is might, if he wants to reclaim the crown then he should need to gamble Laput. (my opinion)

I am ATENEO Fan, i use not to compliment DLSU girls dahil na rin sa long rivalry nila, but now the girls are awesome especially GAGATE AND JOLENGS mas naging aggressive sila especially in offense we know that DLSU's system are more defensive and ma less error sila.more than other teams but to this game nakakasabayan na sila sa UST, NU and ADU when it comes in attacking

Gusto ko ung pag approach ni thea ngayon sa bola nka harap cya sa bola sa pag palo kaya baon at malakas hindi katulad nung first round palaging nka side sa bola kaya nang yayari pa tapik tapik lang kung lalo pa nya mapraktis ung ganyang approach mahirap tapatan at i block yan lalamunin ka ng buo

Basag yung confidence ng Adamson sa 5th set eh. Yung spikers nila palo na lang ng palo to the point na either blocked or nadidig attacks nila.
Based on elimination matches, parang mas exciting na match up sa Final Four siguro yung DLSU vs ADU, tapos UST vs NU so that each teams could push each other to the limit haha. Or DLSU vs UST tapos NU vs ADU (I root for DLSU vs UST for finals though)
