- Hello guys, welcome to my channel and to my reaction to the first episode of the first season of OBI-WAN KENOBI.
Today, we're going back to the Star Wars universe and get into the story of one of most beloved characters in the franchise, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
We follow Obi-Wan as he's trying to lie low, lead a normal life and overcome the things that happened 10 years ago, when he's suddenly thrown back into action as an old friend is in dire need of his help.

I thought it was a decent start and catching up with Obi-Wan. The little girl playing Leia is really good for her age. I admit the kidnapping hijinx was a bit cartoonish in that Home Alone way, but it's fine. I found it weird about his concern for just Luke and not Leia, but he came around. Would have loved more closeness between Bail Organa and Leia like him picking her up and pointing to the mountains and what not, like you would see in a father/ daughter relationship in movies.
I guess his hesitation and seemingly lack of concern for Leia was supposed to be more down to him being afraid of leaving his "comfort zone" and the fear of failure than him actually not caring for her. Generally, I quite like this side of his character. It is in a way very similar to Luke in TLJ just not that pathetic and he's actually doing the right thing eventually.
Yeah it doesn't get much better
