- Hello guys, today we're watching OCEAN'S ELEVEN, the star studded heist movie with George Clooney as Danny Ocean, a conman who's planning the biggest robbery in Las Vegas history. For that, he assembles a team of specialists and hollywood greats, Ocean's Eleven.

I feel like this is one of the most rewatchable movies.
It's certainly a very easy and fun watch, perfect for a fun movie night with friends.
I played the Security Guard outside the door leading into the vault area. The scene where the brothers couldn't find the key.
Bruiser is my favorite character too, Angus.
A few things might interest you. The opening and closing scenes were shot at the Rahway State Prison in New Jersey. When Clooney calls his truant officer you see the lights of the since demolished Trump Plaza casino in Atlantic City, NJ. The shot of him going up the escalator to meet Frank, that was from the Boardwalk into that casino. Trump also once owned The Taj Mahal casino which is now the Hard Rock and Trump Marina casino which is now the Golden Nugget. Yes the Donald once owned 3 casinos in AC. FYI since Steve Wynn left Las Vegas, all of the casinos are owned by Corporations. No One person owns any of them anymore.
Watch the movie again. It needs a repeat watch. There's lots of tiny little details and set ups you will miss the first time.
Thanks for mentioning the lasers. I never get that part. Huge explosion and the lasers don't trigger any alarm... that's kind of a plot hole.

This is more Mission Impossible than Mission Impossible- you nailed it! They don't ever air the first season of Mission Impossible because they started with a different leader. Major plot points are lifted from season 1 of Mission Impossible.
Love this movie and your reaction. Def watch the trilogy. 11 is the best, but I really enjoyed 13.

The Mormon twins are fraternal twins, not identical, using Ben Afleck wouldn't have worked bc of the age difference.
The boys are not. They call them Irish twins. The term "Irish twins" refers to one mother having two children who were born 12 months or less apart.

Ok, coole Reaktion. Sehr analytisch was die Charaktere und den Plot angeht. Vielleicht könntest du noch mehr auf das Filmmaking eingehen. Denn der Regisseur Steven Soderbergh erschafft in diesem Film eine so herrliche Atmosphäre. Ob durch das Colorgrading, die Schnitte, die Musik oder den Einsatz von Split Screen oder den altmodischen Heranzoomen. Es ist einfach stimmig.
Watch the original film (1960). It has even bigger stars, The Rat Pack.

Angus' reactions are so stereotypically German and overly analytical, and tries to rewrite the scripts in real time. I wonder if he even enjoys watching these movies. Lighten up mensch.
