- Cape Cod is a much-loved vacation destination. From the sunny beaches to the famous clam chowder, we’ll show you why this destination is the pick for your next vacation!
Check out all the places we visited in this video: www.viewfinder.expedia.com/ca...

#CapeCod crams in more salty goodness than a jumbo-serving of clam chowder. While
you may be tempted to try to devour the entire Cape in one #vacation, we suggest you
explore it in bite-sized chunks, one #visit at a time. And if you’re worried that you may
never return, rest assured there’s plenty of truth in the local saying, “once a Cape
Codder, always a Cape Codder.” So join us now as we sample the natural, historical
and cultural flavors of the Upper, Mid, Lower and Outer Capes. We may have missed a
thing or two this time ‘round, but we’ll be back again to Cape Cod for another hearty
serving in the future!
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

I live on cape too! I work off cape summer traffic is tough going home on Fridays. But its worth it to get home to my oasis
Love cape cod Massachusetts's paradise from 🇵🇷
yo tambien
Seen this place in so many movies that I want to go someday
You should go, it's so nice, over went once and trying to plan a second time
I’m in Sandwich right now! There is an excellent hotel on the Sandy Neck beach rd. off of route 6a...2 minutes to the beach and you can drive on the beach and have fire pits to etc.Of course you need a 4 wheel drive....
I’ve been a few times and enjoyed every visit. The beaches and sunsets are great. Only it’s expensive.
You'd love it
Lived there for 2 years in the 80s
I'm in love with Cape Cod form Ecuador!!!!! 🇪🇨❤
Hey, you must be work and travel student?
@@yusiff I think I'm a dreamer c:
The style and culture of cape cod is one of my favorite for USA beaches
This video was beautifully produced--the editing, music, narration, everything. Can't wait to visit.
un-spoilt and not crowded considering its proximity to NYC and Boston. this is good
Very crowded in the summer..but i love living here
When my footsteps landed on Cape Cod it became my home because of the salty clean air and the surrounding of nature at its best... with quaint little villages and best of all fresh seafood at its best... once you come to Cape Cod you'll never want to leave...
True, been going there for over 15 years, and it’s a new experience every time
Cape Cod is fun place to spend a summer, or just a weekend. Lots to do and relaxing at the same time. Cape Cod National Seashore, driving on 6A and Chatham. Golf, beaches, restaurants, clubs, the Canal, etc. My favorite place in New England.
Our favorite place to go too!♥️
Ahhh I go to Cape Cod every summer 😍 from Boston
I love cape cod and Boston......God I love cape cod...to bad I can't go this year....😰....and I love Boston...to bad j can't go this year...😰

Owen Davis shut up ok
I’ve been going here nearly every summer since 2005. It’s like my second home.
I've lived on cape for 4 years now..i absolutely love it here. Except summers can be tough with traffic..but tourists keep us alive
Love this ....from the UK 🇬🇧
Lived in the northeast (Connecticut) my whole life but started visiting Cape Cod for the first time in 2017 and I’m 28. I’ve never looked back in terms of long weekend getaways during the summer. I regret not going there younger. May not be for everyone but it’s New England vibe is what attracts so many up here. Currently here as we speak
I am a Canadian (Ontario) and I just returned from a tour of Cape Cod (bus tour from Canada) - and I loved it!
Went on the Sand Dunes Tour, a Seal Tour and a Lobster Boat Tour and ate so much lobster, I literally thought I had gone to Heaven. I love Cape Cod!
Astonishing place , thank you
This video is very well-produced and beautiful, thank you! :)
Many many lovely memories!

Thanks!!! 👋👋👋
Awesome!!!
Hello.. I'm from indonesia .. your video is very beautiful 👍👍
Great video! Hope my life goes well and can visit this special place someday. Dreaming...... from Western NC.
I'm from NC and went, way more affordable than you think! You can do it
@@myrtlebeachsara Have you got $3000 + for a week's rent. Don't believe Sara.
Outrageously expensive & mobbed w/tourists in the summer, traffic is terrible--but I still love the Cape!
It depends on where you go actually, to find it expensive! You can go & spend very little if you research it properly. We rented a home when kids were little, nothing fancy but reasonable & you can visit off season. Took kids to beach during the day & did ice cream & miniature golfing at night! They had free square dancing on the pier Wednesday nights in Wellfleet, went to the white cedar swamp in Wellfleet( boardwalk through it & no charge) & so much to see & do there inexpensively, if you look. We are now retired & believe me, we don’t have a surplus of cash 🤣 but we still go to Cape Cod & you can do it inexpensively if you look. We stay at a amazing motel in Orleans or in Eastham, the Double Tree in Hyannis but if you go before high season you can get prices even more reasonable ! We always eat at “The Lobster 🦞 Pot” in P’town as often as we can( best seafood anywhere) & “ARNOLD’S” in Eastham!!! Reasonable prices & delicious food! We always go to the Flea MKT at Wellfleet Drive-In ( open 4 times a week!!! Do not miss) & head to drive-in at night couple times for a wonderful, fun experience! We have been traveling to Cape Cod since our kids were born & I vacationed there as a teenager! It is a place not to miss & it is easily possible to not spend a lot of money here. Tours of Cape Cid Chips & Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis are no charge to & so much fun. Don’t miss either. What you can’t miss though is the traffic! It is horrible just like any vacation place in summer generally is but by going off season you can miss that! Things generally stay open until Columbus Day in October but we go all four seasons & just love Cape Cod! If you drive onto the Cape do it in wee hours of the morning or you will find yourself caught in hrs long traffic seeing there are only two bridges, to get you onto Cape Cod! Do not even think of going to P’town on a rainy day 🤣for hundreds of others will have the same exact idea! You will find yourself stuck on Rt 6 for hrs( go instead on a warm day when everyone will be staying at the beach!)! In short you can go easily to Cape Cod inexpensively & have a fantastic time( we did it for over 30 yrs) & a lot cheaper than some of the European cities or Caribbean! Let’s face it, it is a well loved vacation destination so it is possible to get away from a lot of the traffic woes with a little planning! We live in western Massachusetts so travel out there often. Hope you try it again( off season perhaps in early fall is a perfect time or late spring before prices on lodging go up & crowds are not there! Take care & God Bless!♥️
Beautiful portal of our home. Please come visit. Once the sand is between your toes, you will never want to leave. Yes, it is that beautiful here. 🌞🐬🐟🐳🐋
Hopefully, 2021 , Photo trip 👍
On my bucket list. God willing 2022. Love, prayers (stay healthy) and blessings to everyone in the USA from Barnstaple UK.

becky savery I live 4 miles from the Atlantic coast in a village called Braunton near our main town of Barnstaple. House swap sounds good but we have 3 dogs 2 cats and chickens which make for a very chaotic home.

Thankfully, you omitted Bourne, (Monument Beach where I grew up) Sagamore :) and West Sandwich...

Hi my friend
Expedia please do salt lake city utah
Do a Calgary video
Cape Cod is our own personal “ heaven on earth!” We so agree with you Expedia✅ & I just so love your video!💕
We will visit there this summer !
The National seashore, doesn't have a house anywhere near it, and there is a tall cliff all along the shore.. That's one thing I like about the Cape beaches. Atmosphere is vacation everywhere, you go- air smells of salt water everywhere, the best seafood around. A feeling of being isolated from the rest of the world- it's a unique place nothing like it.
Also, try Destin beach, this is what I filmed last week:

Happy Pride To Everyone In Provincetown 🏳️🌈💖
Post luxury life and rich places
nice
when i watched it had 69420 views.
and i am from the cape
Please do Victoria falls
It's a 6-hour drive from Boston to Provincetown. Both because the Cape is long, and the traffic is brutal.
You can also take the high speed ferry from Boston, about an hour and a half
No way is it a 6 hr drive from Boston 😂😂😂but a 2 hr drive tops! I live in western Massachusetts & it takes only 3 hrs to get to Orleans, Ma on the outer Cape, never mind a short hop from Boston! If you head to the Cape go early( wee hrs of the morning) to avoid traffic trying to get onto Cape Cod. We arrive early, eat s leisurely breakfast somewhere, have a bathing suit under our clothes ( Coast Guard Beach, Nauset Beach in Eastham) so we can head to beach until check in time at our home we are renting or our hotel/motel! We absolutely adore Cape Cod & head out there for summer vacations & many, many long weekends! There is ferries from Boston & a high speed ferry that runs daily & with prior reservations you can bring your car if you want! It is only an hr and a half ride by ferry & can be found down by the Aquarium on the pier in Boston, it is another option for everyone & makes for a fun day or overnight trip too !😆Have a great vacation on Cape Cod everyone! It is the perfect vacation spot!♥️

I’m Still Waiting For Detroit, Michigan
Robert Of Tula
I heard that downtown Detroit has been booming recently and the city is coming back to life, but Detroit doesn’t really have any beautiful scenery. That’s why I prefer most coastal cities to inland cities.

Awesome place and learning this video many things..hey could Expedia make videos beautiful traveling places for Bangladesh...😍😍😍😍
🤗
They seem to have forgotten the Bourne and Sagamore Bridges as well as the Cape Cod Canal and Sandwich.
They didn’t name every town on the cape by a long shot. And what do you want them to say about the bridges? There’s a lot of traffic on them? The bike paths along the canal are nice I guess.
I know the discovery thing is all great but what about the most livable cities? what about calgary?
Paulo Henrique Novais
If they do more Canadian cities, I would want them to do Halifax or maybe Kelowna.
Frankly, the only cities I might be interested in seeing a video done on might be Montreal, Toronto & Quebec City.
ny to cape cod 5 hours if you are lucky and don't hit traffic
Switzerland please
Chatham born and raised
😍👌🏻
Can you cover Cape Cod in 1 day if I travel from New York City?
It’s a bit over 4 hours each way so if you left early you could have an afternoon at the beach and get home before midnight. If you think 9-ish hours in a car is worth a few at the beach it’s probably worth it
Takes 3 days to enjoy, minimum. And you won't want to leave..

Why no mention of Wellfleet or Truro?

I really like Cape Cod
Are there any “densely packed” villages and beach towns that have beaches and restaurants nearby?
Recommend a good one here
I love cape cod it's so Amazing...it's beautiful
Chatham downtown is your best bet
Provincetown, Brewster, Orleans, and about 15 others! Most of the outer cape is very villagesque. Can't go wrong to be perfectly honest with you.
There are too many to list (ha!) but our favorites for you would be Hyannis ( everything right there at your finger tips) & stay at motel on bay! Holiday House ( motel) good place to stay but there are many others! The ferry goes out constantly ( fun to watch) & excellent restaurants ( eat at SPANKY’S on the pier) but lots to see & do in Hyannis! Free tours of Cape Cod Beer f so much fun!) & Cape Cod Chips! Lots to see & do & beaches near by. Other choices & a close tie would be “Orleans, Ma.”( it is where we always stay when on the Cape) for everything is close near by, prices reasonable, & you don’t need a car to get around( avoid the traffic). It is on the outer cape so less traffic & crowds! Dennisport, Yarmouth, Bass River, & Provincetown are all excellent choices too with lots to see & do,all around you! Have a great vacation! A hint too would be to check to see if continental breakfast is included anywhere you stay for it is one meal you do not have to worry about!
West Dennis beach is always packed, cold storage beach is good but for the love of god deflate your tires before you go out there, the road is ruined by people who don’t
I live in Chatham
Me living in eastham my entire life watching this 👁👄👁
Absolutely beautiful, charming, and quaint, but in terms of swimming in Cape Cod waters... probably not a wise idea to go past your knees. Jaws (many of them, actually) is now alive and thriving, and swimming close to the shore. I'm from here, and I won't do it.
Playful Kitten u little bitch just go in the bay and you’ll be fine swimming way out of your head. I live in brewster I go the beach all the time and you almost never see sharks
We swim on the Bay side (Eastham beaches) & we have never had a problem, in over 60 yrs of our family & I summering here. As we all know, sharks are in all oceans, the world over, so if we truly wanted to avoid sharks, no one would be swimming in ocean water, the world over!😂 lol! You just do not want to have a great white or any shark for that matter, mistake you for a seal, so you do not swim near seals, dress in clothing ( wet suit) that they might mistake you for a seal or their next meal. Just do not swim or surf during these times ( dusk & early morning) when they typically feed & you should be fine! We still swim all the time on the Bay side & love it! We swim on the ocean side, too( Coast Guard Beach & Nauset Light Beach)! They have life guards & helicopters checking the water during high season for sharks( great whites) so swimming in that water, is relatively safe on ocean side but I also have thought that no matter where anyone swims in the ocean in the whole world, sharks are present. You just need to be careful & aware of that fact no matter where you swim, when at the ocean! I just love Cape Cod beaches!
Also, try Destin beach, this is what I filmed last week:

Any cape cod locals watching to see what they say?
Yup lol..i live here i enjoy swearing at the tourists clogging up the rotory when I'm trying to go up scenic highway to get to the Sagamore so i can go home
Is this in my recommended because of American Horror Story ?
Rent a cottage and write a lot of stories books etc…
how to tell your town sucks: its not even in this vid. sorry Bourne, our only claim to fame on cape is "you gotta go through us to get somewhere better"
Bourne is so beautiful, but you are so right though, I need to add, for Bourne sadly often gets overlooked, with everyone’s intent to “get over the bridge & onto Cape Cod!” Bourne has so many great restaurants & beaches but also has many fun things to see and do. My husband & I love Bourne. We make trips to your lovely village/town & love Bourne! A huge plus too is that people will find prices very reasonable to downright inexpensive eating or staying in Bourne, as opposed to staying & eating on “The Cape”, itself! How lucky you are( blessed!) to live in Bourne. Such a beautiful place! ♥️
Save your self the money. This place isn't what it seems. When you battle the tourists to go anywhere you'll know what I'm saying. Lived here for 30 years and always disappointed by the summer visitors. New York and Connecticut are the 2 worst. Go to Brockton instead or maybe fall river or new Bedford
Amen to that. My man and I are getting out of here soon. Tired of the tourists and their mouths as well as how they drive.
Also, try Destin beach, this is what I filmed last week:
