- Vancouver - a city regularly voted “the World’s most livable”. With breezes that carry the scents of nature and aromas of all the urban delights you’d expect from a city, it’s easy to understand why visitors flock to this Canadian city.
When ready, browse vacation packages to Vancouver: www.expedia.com/Vancouver.d17...
#Explore the early history of #Vancouver at Waterfront Station, the western terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway. On your #vacation, experience the interweaving of cultures in Chinatown, where the fusing of Oriental flavors with local seafood has helped earn the city the title, “the Culinary Capital of Canada.”
After visiting Vancouver’s central highlights, ride the ferry to Granville Island. From Granville Island, head to Queen Elizabeth Park on Little Mountain, a peaceful oasis high above the city.
When it’s time to answer the call of the wild, cross the Lions Gate Bridge to The North Shore, a wilderness where bears roam and salmon-filled rivers flow through old-growth forests.
Less than a two-hour drive from the city is Whistler Blackcomb Resort, the largest ski resort in North America. The beautifully connected runs here cater to all skill levels and attract elite skiers and beginners from all over the globe.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

MX125 BRO me in india :(
I may be moving to Vancouver from the UK in a couple months, can I ask you some questions? I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not.
PeeKay What's wrong with India??

I spent my golden years in Vancouver during my studies. Although I have been to many places around the world, Vancouver is the only city that captured my heart ❤.
I grew up in Vancouver in the 1960's and '70's. What I can't figure out, is how Expedia made this city appear in this video to look just like I remember it back then, clean, bright, and safe. Now all I see in Vancouver is lots of grungy looking people with mean faces and arrogant, aggressive attitudes. something like the guy at 2:02 - 2:06, and also now there are homeless bums and street gangs everywhere, there was none of that 50 years ago.
Could u help me in sorting out my doubts bcz I am going there for my studies
@@sofiacac3385 ----I had not been to Vancouver in about 5 years when I made this first comment, I was there recently, and it seems to be getting better with the younger adults in some districts, thought there are still a lot of frustrated, depressed, disillusioned and aggressively deranged people in the West End and elsewhere, especially among older generations who lived through Vancouver's many, many left-wing inspired social experiments over the years, starting about 1975, just after Vancouver had been inundated with thousands of left wing idealists and counterculture activists from the rest of Canada during the Vietnam War years in the USA.
@@canadaauroraborealis3958 What's wrong with that guy? 😂
@@CeruleanStallion -----What is RIGHT about this guy is that I will tell the truth and tell the facts which 99% of Greater Vancouverites either hide or will not admit, or maybe like yourself refuse to see or have not lived in that city long enough to know about, that is what is RIGHT with me. Vancouver LOVES to toot its horn about everything that is great about itself (mostly the nature which of course mostly does not change) but likes to ignore all the crazy sociological problems that have bedeviled that city for decades, one of the most glaring of many being the "offshore" (now there is a classic LeftCouver politically correct term) SEVERE GANG PROBLEMS that has infested that city since the early 1980's.
Expedia: your production staff is top top notch.
I'm really impressed with your video presentations.
Vancouver is the most beatiful city in northamerica. Its really amazing place
Canada????
Canada not North America!
sayoni sinha yes it is North America is a continent Canada USA and Mexico is North America
Hahah...someone didnt do their study well??!!🤣

surry has a lot of crime
Jenny Amponsah Please do. It's the best trip you'll have for sure. I was there in 2015 and walked along the Stanley Park and visited the Granville street wonders in downtown all the way to Canada place. I wanna visit it again because of how welcoming people are there
UchawiBeatz2K16 sounds amazing 😊😊😊
I lived 10 years in Vancouver and loved when it rained. Its just part of life in Vancouver
Vancouver is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL city I've ever been to....I really miss it. It has the friendliest/good looking people I've ever met...Mountains and ocean side by side...It's at the same time super cultural and perfect for people who love the outdoor. I had the time of my life over there:)
Thanks! for calling us good looking, I was born here..lol
Healthy living is a priority for many Vancouverites, and they all seem to love animals vegan restaurants are everywhere and yoga studios. As a vegan myself for health and animal care reasons, I spent so much money on all the delicious vegan fare I discovered at the vegan restaurants, and it was worth it can't wait to go back.
I've been to Vancouver once and ove been in love with the city ever since I can't to visit again this June. As well as move there someday. 😌
Horseshoe bay
I'm ugly, will it rub off on me if I go...
Visited Vancouver and Whistler last year.......beautiful city, and hospitable population, and very safe. Will visit again.
As a resident of Vancouver for over 38 years, I approve of this video. You captured everything that makes this place so beautifully special, great work!
I fell in love with Vancouver. I've never been there but there is something magical about this place.
❤️❤️
If any of you live there, I can't even describe how lucky you are
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
FeelFree ....... Hello feel free you’re truly missing out, ok honestly ( BC BRING CASH ) ( BABY CAUSE ) You will need it Big time !! Yes I moved here long time ago and forgot to leave the Mountains and Ocean Snow in the fall all winter on the peeks of these mountains so beautiful so many places to go never enough time to visit many places because you unfortunately have to work to go play. We have long summers long falls very short winters early springs Great hot summers ....Ok we are Lucky, remember life flies by so fast so don’t miss the Bus !
Cheers ! ❤️☮️🆗
All true -- but let's not forget BC also stands for Bring Cash
yup
What they won't tell you is that it is foreign investment, mainly from China, that is causing that, mostly in the Metro Vancouver region.
BC stands for British Colombia
@@anthonyhenderson8371 ye its my time to shine

The rents are so much lower than here in London so it might be worth it anyway 😂
My wife and I live in the South/West of France and have done so for the past 30 years, we paid a visit to Vancouver on our Canadian tour, and while this video clip is excellent, it does not do Vancouver true justice, in my opinion, superbly clean and true to the video clip the Steam Clock is quite something to see on your visit to this captivating City.
We fell in love with Vancouver, its peoples, its cleanliness, its openness to the wild and outside world that is the Canadian Continent, absolutely wonderful. Even a wild Bear came out of the forest to visit our coach, as it stood on its hind legs and sort of waved to us, or so it seemed.
A proud people and wow what a Continent, one day we hope to return, time permitting. Long Live the Canadian frontier.
This is my absolute favorite city in North America for sure.
Vancouver! My favorite city. Safe, great public transportation, good food and great people. I roamed Stanley Park for 6 hours with my dog-best day ever! Will return soon!
safe?
Canada always is my dream. Someday I will go to Canada.
God bless u all
Me too!!
Moved here to live wit my girl I met on discord and its way fucking better then America. U won't realize how many fucking disrespectful shit heads live ina America until u lived in Canada
as canadian for 3 years i welcome you
I was there in 2012. For me vancover is one of the most beautiful city in the world. Normally I hate big cities but vancouver has
enchanted me.
I wish be in Vancouver in the near future for ever.
I cant believe i lived there for around 2 years! i was so happy and felt so good to have beautifulness around my life every single day! i really want to go back soon and hopefully call it my home one day
It's amazing how nearly each shot shows bright sunny days. When if you live there, you know it's ALWAYS raining and you rarely see the sun.
That’s why it took them so long lol
the rent is higher than snoop dawg.
Really? Well there goes my chance to stay there.😞😞
@@Thollis1987 if you come here you better be a *good* income earner, come from a family with money, or have a good prior education (a lot of immigrant doctors come here and practice) to be competitive here.
If youre an immigrant of any other sort, you'll also sadly find that your existing education, no matter how prestigious in your country, will often mean nothing here.
Oh, and get ready for surprising amount of xenophobia and racism for a city so diverse.
@@Natalie-ex1ne FeelsBadMan
Oh yea? Try San Francisco, New York or s&$t hole Philadelphia. 20 miles away from Philly center I'm not leaving my car without a handgun concealed carry. Rent is much higher than in Vancouver.
Just only the best.
Lived in vancouver for 5 years. Loved it
I'm watching this because this is the place where Stargate Atlantis was filmed. Even though I'm Greek, this place feels really like home! Such a beauty!!
Very correct. So beautiful. The Nature. NOT the people.
This is my dream home. I would give up everything to move to vancouver.
Nathan Basford how old r u? Also do u have snapchat?:)
Me as well LOL😂👍🏽
Born in Vancouver, spent 30 years there, but now in Australia and love it more. Nature around Vancouver is amazing but the city itself is so overrated and on the decline.
I think you’d have to to be able to live (considering how expensive it is)
Vancouver native here, the outdoor views still get to me
there is no city like this beautiful Paradise
Logan's rDKM WR BGM brought me here lmao
omg same LMAO
What a great city! Definitely worth the wait!
amazing city
LEONIDAS MARTEL SHUT THE FUCK UP!

Canadians look so chilled.
Vancouver is my home and I love it here. I never ever want to leave.

I never been Vancouver but I know it is one of the beautiful place in the world
wish i can go to vancouver one day
We were there last Summer for family vacation and we loved it. Seeing many of the places we had visited in this video brings back great memories. The city is surrounded by natural beauty and is rich in history and culture, most of which are within walking distance of downtown. Just wished we had more time...
Great video. I love love Vancouver , BC and Vancouver Island , BC. Queen Elizabeth Park and Stanley Park in this video were described to a T. Just a beautiful and Magical City. Wish I could see it all again. It was more then a decade since I was there the first time.
hands down the most beautiful city in the world
_Vancouver is THE city!_ 😍
Expedia never disappoint!!! thanks a lot for the hard work you guys put in each and every video. thank you!!!
We try to show off the very best in each city and we really appreciate all the feedback, thanks!

liar.where is Osaka than .it have been one year lots of people are asking.
Great video of my city. A few things tourists should also take note of that they didn't mention:
- There are several cities close to Vancouver (grouped together we call this region the Lower Mainland), many worth seeing. If you want to see historic Canada, it's worth taking a bus to Burnaby to visit Burnaby Village Museum. Or taking a walking tour to the Britannia Shipyards in Steveston Village, once a historic Japanese fishing town. Or taking a seabus to Lonsdale Quay.
- I also recommend taking a daytrip to Victoria, the capital of B.C. Getting there might take 4 hours, but the ferry ride is scenic.
- Hiking's also popular here, and for a good reason. One of the highlights of Vancouver is the number of hiking trails that are accessible nearby. Consider hiking as one of the must-dos while visiting. Deep Cove is a popular spot and you can kayak there, too.
- Vancouver's Chinatown, while worth a visit (especially Dr. Sun Yat Sen Garden), has become a bit rundown and is now generally more of a tourist attraction and less a place of living Chinese culture. Most Chinese people currently live in the neighbouring city, Richmond. Also be careful, because some parts near Chinatown are also really seedy as there's a lot of homeless living on these streets. Don't EVER walk through East Hastings.
- On that note, yeah there's a lot of homeless here.
- Due to Vancouver's history, there are a lot of people in the Lower Mainland that are ethnically Asian, many of whom were born and raised here. It can be a culture shock for some. I've heard someone comment that Vancouver might be the most Asian city outside of Asia, and they might be right. But it also means that Vancouver and the Lower Mainland has pretty good Asian food, and great cultural festivals throughout the year. Ramen's been pretty popular of late. The Richmond Night Market is a summer highlight.
- We nickname Vancouver "Raincouver" for a reason. Most days don't look like the video - they are very grey and rainy. But that's what keeps this city green.
- Due to foreign investors, housing in Vancouver is now extremely expensive and more locals are moving out because of it. I saw one slightly rundown 50 year old home on sale in East Van for $1.2 million CAD, which is standard.
Fort langely as well
This is beautiful.A very nice place for living.A very rich history of town.Perfectly
I spent a week there in 2000 and left extremely impressed with the city, working on going back for a few days soon!
been to San Francisco and now I'm dying to go to Vancouver ! it looks so gorgeous
Danny Fenty how did u find SF. When I went it felt pretty overrated.
ClassicCryptic I loved it honestly, I didn't find it overrated I went during it was raining and cold so I really enjoyed it, what areas did you go to?
Danny Fenty pretty much everywhere cos i went on one of em tour buses
ClassicCryptic well did you do anything on foot? To me tour buses are boring, you're confined to your bus and a schedule I like having my own car and going places at whenever I wanted too! I'm going to go again this December I'm excited
Danny Fenty yea i was on foot aswell, the noly thing i really liked was the government buildings and the golden gate bridge, but other than that things like the huge park in SF is pretty shit imo
I loved my holiday there - hope to get back again one day.
I am now seriously planning my next trip to Vancouver. I love expedia travel videos.
