#Toulouse has played a large part in Europe’s story for centuries. From the time the Romans and Visigoths ruled, to its place as one of the world leaders in aerospace, France’s fourth-largest city balances a rich history with a youthful zeal for new frontiers. Follow in the footsteps of pilgrims during a #visit to Saint-Sernin Basilica, the largest Romanesque church in Europe. #Explore over five centuries of artistic endeavor within the opulent halls of Hôtel d’Assézat. Or just relax with a picnic on the banks of the River Garonne and watch the waters slide by to far off Bordeaux. Whatever your pace, a #vacation to Toulouse will be sure to leave you completely enamored with this part of France.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

As a foreign student who lived ever in both Toulouse and Paris, I have to say Toulouse is absolutely the Best city to live in. Frankly, the toulousains are really warm-hearted and enthusiastic. You feel so closed to them when living in Toulouse.
Paris, as the capital of France is definitely a good place. Paris, is so rich of culture and fully fascinating by enjoying the good reputation of the international European city. Nevertheless, when nowadays there are strikes everyday and when common transport gets totally into shit in Paris, when parisians call chocolatine pain au chocolat, when people neglect you when asked directions, when it costs so expensive everything, I always miss Toulouse❤️. However, life is sometimes like a piece of exam paper that the examiner distributes to you and you can never choose. How I wish a good financial school could be in Toulouse and I did never move to Paris!😭
Because you lived in Toulose, can you please advice me which is a good neighbourhood to be in? My school will be in Jardin Niel (st Agne), so maybe the good spot for me is st Michel neighbourhood, because it's between centre and the school? I have never been before, so I have no idea...
Nice to see the Spongebob narrator got a new job.👍😃
LMFAOOO
THIS COMMENT MADE MY DAY =)))))))))))))
LMAO!
💀
ROFL
Toulouse may be known as La Ville Rose, but we discovered this Southern French city offers a full pallet of magical colors, tones and shades!
This is beautiful! When will Expedia doing one of these videos for Malta? 🇲🇹
Can you do Boise idaho Tampa Florida and salt lake city utah
Please do krakow Poland!
For me, Toulouse is even more interesting than Paris (which is awesome). We've been there for 1 day. And, when we left, we left thinking that it wasn't a good idea go stay only 1 day. We needed more. After watching this video, we're certain!
Great video as always!! I like the accent of the narrator, it makes it authentic (though I had to turn on the subtitles, lol)
If you stayed one more day, you'd understand what to be the Toulousians, includin' the members of your family, friend. I guarantee, that YOUR impressions would be much more deeper than these ones you HAVE then, whether YOU met Me&Co. 👹
Love the narrator's French accent!
I love looking at Google Earth, and every time I explore France I'm left speechless and stunned by the sheer beauty of this country. I'm currently in high school, but I genuinely hope to visit, or even live in France one day. A semester abroad in Toulouse seems incredible..
I live in Lyon but something about Toulouse beckons me. It just seems like such a lovely, majestic place. Hopefully someday. 😊
OMG the French accent 🤣
he's from sheffield

Great cinematography expedia, keep it up👍
Thank you for a great video! Can't wait to visit!
Every time you hear any mention of France, the city of Paris or Nice or Cannes come to mind but the city of Toulouse is a virtual oasis in the south of France and I would love to visit there one day when my finances allow me to do so. It would be a great adventure.
Paris? Worth it but it’s hell. Nice? Worth it but the beach is hell. Cannes? Dodge. Toulouse, of these 4 cities is by far the most pleasant and attractive.
@@titteryenot4524 why do you prefer toulouse the most?
@@Reel___ Toulouse just feels earthy and more authentic than Cannes, Nice or Paris. However, my favourite place in all France is Perpignan and the whole Roussillon region in general. Ceret is my favourite small town in France.
@@titteryenot4524 what do you think about Nîmes or Montpellier? I know they they are unsafe by French terms, but I adore them. Montpellier seemed more ambitious, gorgeous and greener, while Nîmes seemed cleaner, and decent overall. Also I like climate there, it's warmer and sunnier than in Toulouse or Perpignan.
There are Toulon also, but I suppose the vibe is similar to Nice.
@@georgephilips2537 I like both Nimes and Montpellier. Never felt unsafe anywhere in France in 40 years of travelling there. Just for the record, Perpignan is the warmest city in France.😉Unsurprising really, given that it’s the most southerly.
I like the way of Expedia made video , great perspective view including music and narrator , I was a follower since Prague video

Oh, god... What a shock at accent kicking in at [ 0:15 ]. I guess the philosophy is, "Let's embrace it, if you didn't become bilingual at age 10, then forget it".
I am an Indian and I live here beautiful city must visit
Also, in Toulouse (and the southwest of France in general) a chocolate croissant is a chocolatine, not pain au chocolat ;)
Make a video on Stockholm , Sweden!
Why? You want to illegally immigrate there?
Can you provide me France tourist visa,Expedia....?

Do you have Aviñon?
This is my vacation for the whole summer. People need to stop sleeping on Toulouse
Paris
Peeps need to stop sleeping on paris
oke juga
Do grenoble!!!!!!!!!!
First
This guy's accent is like how people imitate French accents. A part of me almost wonders if it's an actor pretending to be French, haha. If not, no shade/offense, I live in France currently and I'm sure I sound like a fool on a daily basis when I try to speak French (with my English/American accent). But this guy, the way he says "-o-vaaerre" etc for "over" or "ze ri-VARE" for river.. "trez-ZaRE" for treasure....so French-y
As a French I feel like this guy really is french (his pronunciation of buildings names is perfect) but is also exagerating his accent just to accentuate the french feeling in the video... Pretty cringy in my opinion ^^'
@@81naixy okay thanks for the opinion from a real francophone!! I guess it'd be like if I was trying to sound super American for a tourism video for the US haha
You're welcome ! And yeah that's pretty much the feeling I have watching this video haha
Which city would you preefer to visit: Nice, Lyon or Toulouse?
I prefer them in this order: 1. Toulouse 2. Lyon 3. Nice
Do Malta please
There is already a video of Malta made by Expedia ;)
I like the French accent. ;)

C'mon...the Narrator sounds like a Monty Python character - "Here! Have my Baguette... while i wave my Private parts in the general direction of your Face!"
The narrator's accent is quite heavy, but at least it's understandable. Toulouse looks like a good option for a calm weekend getaway
Leh uga ni
I’m watching this so my dad can pretend that I’m his niece from france
Cool, but one version translated to English is better!!!
The french accent lol 😂
It’s charming

My French girlfriend can't bear the narrator's voice
I’m sure the narrator couldn’t care less about your French girlfriend.
Is this guy speaking English or French ?🙄
ptdrrr l'accent francais basta basta
