sootch00 I had the same thing happen to me. I thought I was only one. I switched to the Sig P320 platform. How did this gun compare to the 9mm P320 sub-compact.

Got my new HK VP9 SK and took it to the range. Sootch, it was everything you said it was! Excellent shooter, minimal muzzle flip, deadly accurate from 30 ft and less, absolutely flawless operation, great sight picture with stock sights and it felt great in my hand. The pistol begs you to shoot it All in all one of the best pistols I've ever shot. This pistol makes a novice look good. Thanks Sootch for a great revue. Picked one up yesterday, took it to the range today, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Accurate right out of the box and the trigger is fantastic! Short take up, clean break, and a short reset.

My VP9SK is my favorite pistol I own. I love my VP9, P2000, USP Compact, but the VP9SK is absolute perfection. Soft, accurate, and love the way it feels in my hands.
Bought a HK VP9SK yesterday and convinced that despite my pocketbook taking a hit, the world is right. I watched this review and your comparison review to the Glock about 6 times each. I've shot a full size Beretta 92 for a long time and was looking for a concealed carry for down here in Texas. This gun is a way different animal, but I know I'm gonna love it. Thanks, Sootch!
I love HK's. Of my entire collection of handguns the one I am easily more accurate with is my HK45c. What a smooth shooting firearm. Try it, you'll fall in love!

I just switched my carry gun to the vp9sk about a month ago. I like being able to really play around with the grip and get the perfect fit. For me, the best fit was the small backstrap and medium side panels. I chose this pistol over Glock 19 and Walther PPQ. This pistol has a lot of wow factor to it when you first pick it up. Also, I just added the 13 round magazine and for me, the ergonomics were better than the pinky extension on the 10 round. I combine the pistol with the BlackPoint Tactical IWB holster. It's a great combination that works well for me.

I have the VP9SK in FDE. I purchased the 13 rd mags that are basically the same size as the 10 rd mags with the pinky extension. I shoot this gun better than any other striker-fires pistol I have ever tried. I like it MUCH better than the Glock 19 I used to have.

My My order for the LE came in yesterday. It feels and shoots like a dream. I think I need an intervention as this is my third H&K within a year. Once you get hooked on the quality, craftsman and accuracy it's hard to settle for less particularly if you're a left handed shooter.

I've shot about 2500 rounds through my VP9SK LE, she is one sweet shooter, especially with the 13 or 15 round SK magazines.
She';s not cheap, but she's worth every penny.

Look at these used. In my area I found a VP9SK LE with 4 10 rd mags, 2 13 round mags, an olight mini Valkyrie 2 light and custom holster that was made with the light in carbon fiber finish for $700 for the entire package.

My wife picked up the P30 and P30sk and she loves it. I think im going to match her by getting the VP9 and VP9sk. thanks for the review. I have for years shot a glock 19 and loved it to death. I think its time to venture out. The grips on the New HK's are amazing. I actually used to hate glocks until the Gen 4 came out, I picked up my wifes HK's and was like wow... the first time I have ever been able to find something that fit just right. I wear an XL glove but the medium straps work best for me.. i dunno why lol. im strange like that. Keep up the good work!

I did see your comment on the trigger specs, but can you elaborate a little bit on how the SK trigger compares to the full size VP9 trigger? I have the full size VP and was wondering if the SK trigger was the same or close to the full size. Thanks!
Uh oh! I love my VP9, but felt it was a little too big for EDC, and now I have to get the SK version to carry! Of course I'm keeping my VP9 also. Finally! Yay! My Walther PPS Classic may be going to a new home...
Fired one today for the first time and it out shot my g17 and 26 that I shoot regularly. Great trigger, very compact, nice night sights, soft shooter, but a weak reset which is a shame. Still, probably the best gun in the g26-g19 mkt for the money. If I bought one, I’d probably ditch my g26 even though it’s slightly bulkier. Like to see it in 40.

Like most, I've gone through several pistols before settling on a firearm to carry every day. Starting with a Ruger SR9c and going through the small 380's and even a NAA 22 mag before finally coming to the glock 26. I've been truly happy with the 26. HOWEVER, this pistol has me thinking. It may be time to take a look at this one. Thanks Sootch

Looks nice! I have been carrying my Walther P99c as again recently. It's also ten +1. It also has the striker indicator on the rear like this pistol.
