Ingredients Boiling water: Cook for 4 to 6 minutes (depending on pasta type) Pinch of salt in boiling water Pasta Broccoli head (in boiling water) Pan High Heat: 2 tbls oil Mushrooms 150g (crush up in hand) Red Pepper (stack to cut in strips) Can add extra oil during cooking to increase temperature Stalk broccoli (chopped fine) Cherry Tomato (chopped half) 1 tbls Tamari Sauce - water and pasta water emulsion Ailo ** remove veg from pan ** remove pasta a broccoli from pot Catch pasta water (remove broccoli and pasta with collinder) Finishing: 3 tbls oil 1 glass pasta water (sauce) Add Pasta and broccoli back in high heat pan Add veg back into pan Seasoning Chili flakes Pinch salt

The way pink tshirt almost dropped the pasta packet was so funny, rushing cooking inevitably involves some droppage and slips. I know. Oat and banana muffins mix slop all over the kitchen table and soup all over the kitchen walls. Don't even ask.
totally awesome! can't wait to make this. My Grandma originally from Naples, used to make iglio oglio, one of my favorite pastas ever. It only uses capers and garlic though. I bet olives and capers would be fab in this. I have your first book Recipes for Happiness and I just love it! It's not a Happy Pear video without "Yo dudes!"
Instead of adding the emulsion of Oil and Pasta Water, the boys could use hummus and pasta water, that way you get a very creamy and easy to make sauce...

Looks great. I didn't see where the sauce was. Was it basically the pasta water and oil taking flavours of the veg and coating everything. Maybe it is that I did not know what you meant by emulsifying. I am going to have to take you course i think. I will still try it though.
I made this today and accidentally threw out the pasta water despite mental reminders. Boiled some rice to get some starchy water and used that. I haven’t tried the noodles but I hope they taste ok despite my error
The thing i began to hate about making noodles/pasta with vegetables in it is that the vegetables always seem to not hold well with the pasta/noodle. You end up eating pasta/noodle and end up scooping up the veggies at the end. It's as if the vegetables are a separate dish
It's best to use a pasta type that's more scoop shaped or shell shaped than spaghetti or tagliatelle if you want veg in it as the pasta will hold the veg better. Also cut the veg small or grate it. I put my veg finely chopped into my sauce so I can have veg easier in pasta.

Pasta should be cooked in water with the same salinity as seawater?? We once went camping, didn't bring salt and thought we'd use sea water. It was inedible.

Do you have any idea the food cost in America?! That broccoli that you paid next to nothing for would be $3.29 here. That recipe would be three times what you paid for it you are grocery store here. Even farmers markets have their prices raised. I ate so much better when I lived in Wales England and Scotland than I can afford to here back in America.
Um, I know I am welcome to unsubscribe of course, but I want to let you guys know that your two latest recipe videos here have been repetitive and the five minute video rushing to make a main dish between two of you is not a realistic expectation for the average home cook working by themselves, and frankly, is getting old as well. It looks as though you guys are relying on old stand-bys and formulas that have been well played out. That fart salad with black beans and garbanzo beans from the other day would not be a desirable lunch to take to work or school, as it would be very difficult to abstain from farting with that much gas loaded into the bowl. The rush rush pasta looks like many, many other quick noodle dishes many people have featured on their channels. It's called garbage pasta, like a garbage salad. Sigh, run out of creative ideas guys?

Ingredients
