If I understand correctly, the SKX homages made by Marc at Islander Watch are entirely compatible with aftermarket SKX parts, so someone could start with one of those, which already has sapphire and NH movement and decent lume and build quality
Excellent video my friend! Namoki is a great option! I use many of their cases for my builds. I also use and sell DLW cases and bracelets. StrapXPro has the only fitted end rubber strap for the 62mas.
What i like most is the very detailed and explicable description from AliLand, you can't beat them on that! 😜😂😂 Thanks for another mod vid Zeb, be well mate. PS Ordered some parts for my OP mod. Ali informed me that they canceled the hands order, due to an untrackable order number. So, now i have to order some others and wait... Can Namoki do this??? 🤪🤣🤣
Thanks for the look. I recently bought a Namoki dial and hands to finish out a build and I was very pleased with them. I intend to use them again, but, yeah, they aren't cheap. Ali is such a crapshoot for quality, and while you said you'd use Ali for small things like dial and hands, that's actually where an upper tier supplier pays dividends, IMO. There is real CRAP lume out there, for example. Also, if you're interested in some production feedback, I prefer the earlier "brighter" look. No need for the black gloves, for example. Would you say a namoki 62 is a betyer quality than a seestern? Ive been thinking alot abt getting one but there are so many different brands and i know each one has its own benefits and drawbacks. Would you say a built namoki is a batter quality than a built ali?
So the seetern has more done to it on the case, I'd say it makes it better quality. The namoko version is closer to the original in terms of case finish and shape. I have a few comparisons which you should check out. Go into my playlists and i cover the best seiko homages and 62mas is covered

One of my favorite watches is my Seestern 62mas on a FKM tropic. This one is a bit expensive, but it looks great. Thanks for the great review.
