So every company we potentially bid on wants three references. What do you do about that? Do smaller ones want the same? Also what type of credit terms are standard?
Great question, I would most definitely recommend QuickBooks. It can be a little quirky sometimes, but it's a GREAT platform. We are currently beta testing an integration with QB, that we hope to be launching soon.

Great questions Anthony Harrell! That is correct the references are for your customers who can vouch for your quality of service. As I've said getting those first 3 is hard but the most important of your career.

Correct, in most cases, they will want 3 references. In some cases, especially for smaller contracts it may not be necessary.

How long should you make a contract from is it a year? Or can it be month to month witch is better?
Great question, the contract should be as long as you can. But in most contracts the client will request/demand a 30-day out for non-performance.
