As for the whole "Wolverine is a bad dad" thing, in the X-23 solo series Wolverine openly said he fucked up with Laura. Because, even though he had two teenage girl sidekicks before, X was so messed up, he didn't know how to handle her, so he put the former child assassin, trying to find a better life, on the X-Men's secret murder squad for several years.

4:47 To answer Ben's question, it seems to actually work that way when you have two mutant parents. Characters like Nightcrawler, Noctourne, any grey/summers child, polaris etc. They all have powers that come from one or both of their parents.
I remember when this came out. I had just started buying comics a few months ago and was super excited an X-men graphic novel was coming out. Was less than excited when I found out Raze was the villain.
Back issues is like one of the most re-watchable shows on youtube that's why I have a folder for back issues for when ever I have no Internet and everyday one comes out I feel a little more happier
I bet this episode is better than the whole Dark Phoenix movie.

The nightcrawler/wolverine clone bit is even funnier in the context of sins of sinister, and Wagnerine being one of the main characters of that reality.
I think it makes sense for mutants' children. Isn't that what happened for Nightcrawler? His parentage is Mystique and Azazel.

You know, if I am a super-human or a mutant if I was a character into the main Marvel Universe. I would literally scream in the sky, “Who the hell cares if you are mutant or human? Mutants are just humans with a little something extra.”
People are ok with Cap and Spider-Man, mutants are not that much of a stretch.
What you say makes perfect sense. Know what doesn't make sense though? Prejudice. Hence the "super humans good/mutants bad" argument doesn't make sense.

Hey a back issues I could read along with you. Was actually quite fun, almost forgot I owned this book.
I mean, I'm sure the graphic novel doesn't bother to specify but was it that every baseline human disappeared (leaving aliens, mutates, Inhumans, Eternals, Atlanteans, etc.) or every humanoid without an X-Gene, which would just leave the Mutants?

I can't remember when exactly it was explained but basically The Phoenix as an entity is multiversal and will choose a host in each universe.

I believe when Raze first appears in the comics he makes a comment that essentially states that he has already been born in the main 616 timeline. So mystique is his mom, he’s just a baby somewhere on Earth.

in a scenario with 100 humans left. humans may die out but EARTH would do great! also if the last 100 people have superpowers It might work out ok. also there's a lot of characters who have the skills to rebuild infrastructure working together. BEAST is an engineer..
