Same here, this crew is the epitome of simply good humans, which are hard to find these days. You can tell they have good souls, and best of all all enjoy and love comics, Sal and Tiffany are a great couple and Sal is a plethora of comic knowledge, Tiffany is as well, Ethan and Ben brin great levity and charm.
They too have gotten me through some tough years here.

I hope the MCU xmen introduces cyclops in a dream replaying he and Alex falling to earth with a damaged parachute and Scott's optic blast manifests and helps slow their descent and he whacks his head while they're firing and he winds up knocked out with his eyes open and they just keep firing up. I think audiences will be smart enough to figure it out.

This was my First X men Story Arc. It made me wanna read all back stories featuring the New Mutants
This is one of the first storylines that I remember reading, I'm glad that you are reviewing it
I love the fact that Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes did a version of this story. Instead of Cannonball meeting Eitri, Iron Man did and got Dwarf-crafted Iron Man armor.
And, yes, the Amora/Sym thing is not mentioned at all when she next appears.
Uru armor was awesome
Puck was not born a dwarf, his stature was induced. So at least that seen in the book was not as problematic.

The scene when Loki explains that mutants will still be able to create things and Cyclops blasts him for basically being ignorant. Then the North pantheon shows up to yell at Loki for not knowing Midgard current events lol. I hope we get that in the MCU with Tom and whoever they cast as young X-men and hearing Loki exasperated at the thought . “You’re suggesting I read their NEWS now, Thor?”

Wow I read the Rogue/Northstar interaction completely differently. To me, Rogue saw Northstar’s repressed homosexuality, and saw that as an opportunity to let him know that she cares by being a friend. Instead of outing him to his face or in front of everyone, she chose to just be present. I saw it as a friendly kiss and a friendly dance, but I could be way off with this interpretation!

There is one thing that it really annoys me ... I don’t know if it’s part of such videos, but do they pretend not knowing about New Mutants ? Even I that only occasionally read X-men in the past knew about them and who they were. I can’t believe Tiffany specially doesn’t have any knowledge.
They didn't grow up reading them, and Tiffany reads Indies for the most part. What a weird accusation.
I'm familiar with the concept of the New Mutants but I didn't know their names or anything about them. And I doubt I'll remember much about them after this.
