  • Just a simple piece of cord, but if it breaks you will stay on the ground while your friends are flying...
So, please check it as often as you can, inspect it and replace it if you can spot any unusual signs of wear and tear.
Replacing it, it's very simple and straight forward, but we do have a few tips and tricks that will make the installation to be a perfect one.
Here is how we do it in our workshop. Enjoy!

Hello. Can you show this same video with the atom 80 pull start. It’s different. Thanks

We hear so often that our 2 stroke engines are not reliable so we always need to be looking for emergency landing spots! However 2 stroke engines are pretty much the engine with the fewest parts (fewer parts = better reliability). I've heard one Top 80 pilot say they he never had an engine-out after years of flying! and others saying the Top 80 is really reliable. So how do you qualify 2 stroke reliabilty? To me I think that looking over your engine before and after each flight (getting to know its normal safe operating state) so you can replace pieces that are deteriorating before they break would be the basis of having a 2 stroke engine that is really reliable. Could you do a video on the list of things and points to check on the Vittorazi Moster and Atom 80 before leaving home and before taking off. What accessories or eventual additions could further enhance the operational reliability of these engines? Thanks in advance for your time and effort to educate us.

Is this essentially the same procedure for the Atom 80? Same cord? As it happens mine just broke off my Atom 80! Appears that it sheared off within the housing at the knot perhaps.

Can you replace the cord without removing the engine from the frame?

I have your Moster and it is brand new.It is peace of crap. I have become a mechanic with it. I was expecting that if by a new one, I will just enjoy my flights. However it's not reliable.Every time it needs some adjustments and so on.
