The ancient Israelites ardently expected Yahweh to accomplish four great things, and Christ accomplished these four things in the most unexpected way, and it all starts with Christ-fully human, fully divine-becoming man; a king born in a manager, not surrounded by riches and guards.

I've been on a journey of finding faith for a while now. I went from generic non-denominational rock concert churches, to an Anglican church that resembles Catholicism, then today for the first time I attended a Catholic Mass. When the host was consecrated I began to tremble with fear. I've never felt that way before at other churches "communions". I began to just pray over and over again, "have mercy on me Lord, I'm unworthy to be in your presence". I've left a voicemail with the religious education office to begin RCIA when it starts back up. Please pray for me as I walk this new path of my journey.

There aren't a whole lot of bells and whistles in Catholicism but rather a deep devotion to the suffering of Christ and steady endurance in a faith stand has stumbled many times in two thousand years. May you fly on eagles wings.

It is right to love Jesus enough to be in humility in His presence. None of us really know how to be the “right” kind of humble so I have adapted by inspecting myself constantly to insure I truly do love Him with all my heart. That is easy too, because I know He loves me with all of His.
The Catholic Church is a miracle.

Same, back in 2015 (revert). People are really quick to criticize him, but what's undeniable is that he's led tons of people to or back to the Church.

Every video he has a great insight of the Church to teach us, and it just makes the light of Christ shine even brighter every time. We are blessed to have such high quality men as our good Bishop in our Church. I hope one day he becomes Archbishop or a Cardinal. We need such minds at the highest instances of the Church.

I can't even begin to express the impact the Catholicism series had on me. I grew up bemoaning and resenting the fact that all Catholic content I ever saw was cheap, corny, outdated and cringe inducing. This was the first time in my life I felt proud of Catholic media content. Bishop Barron created someone worthy of the goodness, truth, and beauty of the Catholic faith. God bless him for that.

Agreed. I took a divorce class at Church after my divorce and it left me empty. The engagement encounter videos were awful too. Hopefully they’ve been modernized.

Better to be a born again Christian. Find a home Bible study group just like the first Christians.

This documentary played a pivotal role in my path to the Christian faith several years ago, from hedonism and the occult. I’m now a catechumen in the Eastern Orthodox Church, but will be forever grateful to Bishop Barron for helping me let go of the fear and unearned bitterness against catholicism and showing me that the path to Christ can be paved with intellect, beauty, and depth in a way I had not previously seen. Without this unique evangelism I would not have found the true church nor the faith I have now that has brought me so much strength, comfort, awe and love through extremely challenging times. Thank you all for making this available and free to the public, I pray that it will move and inspire many others as it did to me.

I send you greetings from another Catechumen of the Eastern Orthodox Church, the ROCOR. As an ex catholic, the Papal Protestant Church, I pray that the Orthodox Church stands strong pure and uncorrupted forever. This documentary is one of the best I have ever seen. May God bless and keep the remnants of the Catholic Church Orthodox and pure, as the church under Francis' control has become a vessel of Satan.

Perhaps consider Eastern Catholicism. Those are the true Orthodox.
If you are drawn to orthodoxy, then there is the Byzantine Catholic Church.

I'm watching this during Lent 2024 after binge watching the first three seasons of The Chosen. This video crystalizes for me who Jesus was and is from the Catholic perspective. Rev Bishop Barron weaves the life of Jesus with the prophecies of the Old Testament in a way that few people realize actually foretold Christ's coming and the reason for His coming. I knew this but the way Rev. Barron describes it-made it so REAL to me. Thank you Rev. Barron!!!

Our RCIA was a little behind because the normal catechist came down with an illness, so we watched these videos while a new catechist came up to speed. Watching this again brings back warm memories.

The best present on Christmas. I have been in love with this series since I first watched it years ago on EWTN. I wish I had the money to buy the series but I do not. So am always thrilled when I have the chance to watch any of it. On of the greatest evangelizing tools ever to spring from the mind and heart of Bishop Barron.
What a nice surprise this is 💙🙏🏾💙🙏🏻💙 it always amazes me that Jesus born 2000 years ago , an ordinary man and with a very small amount of disciples made an indelible mark on humanity like no other man in history...Surely this man IS the Son of God.

That's what I always tell people. When jesus shows himself to tomas after being crucified for "blasphemy". Tomas says my lord my God and goes on to teach this truth to the world... even though he saw him CRUCIFIED!!! No one would risk suffering what jesus suffered for a lie... imagine the courage and the love the disciples had to see the crucifixión and after witnessing the peak of suffering still teach the very truth that had jesus crucified.

Merry Christmas. Please keep me and my children in your prayers. It’s been a tough three years. But I got so much closer to Jesus because of it. Being a single mother with children with special needs can be difficult at times. I’m struggling. Struggling to buy groceries struggling to pay rent every month is a battle. My health is also not the best since having a heart attack two years ago and I’m battling lupus. Jesus heal me. I trust your plan Lord. Lord please protect and provide for my boys. It’s challenging having two sons on the spectrum. Thanks to God my children have made so much progress. I will keep faith in you Lord Jesus no matter my struggles. Thank you Jesus. ❤

I remember watching this in Theology class freshman year of high school and being incredibly bored. Then my started watching Barron’s CZcams channel at around 17 to help answer some spiritual/theological questions I had at the time. At this point I’ve seen almost all of Barron’s videos all the way through… except this one lol.
