Authorities have revealed they are close to identifying the shooter.

The team that watched him crawl into position and line up his shots waited when they should have fired a warning shot or gotten onto the radio. A basic AR15/M4 Rifle has a 660-yard reach with standard factory iron sights for area targets. The shots from the suspected sniper were 148 yards according to the news (assuming he/she used the same type of weapon system) . I have been in a city where President Bush visited. Secret Service came days in advance to scout the surrounding area to decide where to place agents/officers for tactical advantage. The Lee Harvey Oswald to JFK Shots (3 shots) were made at 75 yards on November 22, 1963, with a scoped bolt action rifle in an elevated position. You would think that the SS would have learned by now. I don't get it. WTF?
