The question people should ask is how did he know no security person was on that roof?
Exactly. And what made him think he was going to get out of there alive? Especially after the counter snipers clocked him? He could have abandoned the mission at that point (like any normal, paid assassin would have), but he just... continues? Very odd.
He was looking around first thats how he figured out it there was a blindspot.
He had been there earlier in the day and left the gun and ladder there. He used the range finder to look for police on or near his choice of building. simple.

As a former NYPD lieutenant with over 20 years of street experience and street encounters plus dignitary protection certified. I must say this was a colossal failure in communication between the agencies. And the initial cops who confronted the shooter should have stop, questioned, and frisk the suspect and communicated with the secret service to hold trump’s stage presence. Until Suspect was investigated.

I have heard reports that he climbed up using the air conditioner.
I have also heard they haven't located the ladder yet.
In all fairness none of these things except that he bought a ladder are confirmed yet but even in eye witness reporting I haven't heard anyone say they saw him carrying or even saw a ladder.

Any claims that building was outside the screening zone are false because they already admitted the Advance Team specifically pointed out that building as a security risk, same with the water tower behind the stage.

Something doesn’t make sense here. They say the counter-snipers were watching him watching them but he didn’t have a gun at that time. They told police who went up to roof and ducked when he turned on them with a gun and then he started shooting soon thereafter. If the counter snipers were watching him, why didn’t they see when he first brandished the rifle and take him out at that time?? Something is off here!! If counter-snipers saw him before he was brandishing the rifle, they would have seen him when he first brandished it and then should have taken him out. No way they would have taken him off their radar before he was removed from roof. Either this info is off or something is rotten in Denmark.
Trump campaign planned this 'near miss' to benefit the campaign. Yes I believe that the Trump campaign is cynical and craven enough to plan such an event resulting even in potential loss of life - consider how that would further galvanize Trump's base. Consider that agents on Trump's secret service detail either have been with him since he was president, or are those that he has chosen / approved since he left the presidency. Remember when Pence's Trump admin secret service detail wanted to whisk him away on Jan. 6 and Pence refused? I feel nutter than squirrel scat entertaining the notion that Trump's team planned this, but will have this hunch until there is irrefutable evidence to the contrary.
Totally makes sense when you think about it, they needed to make it look real. Sadly however, the reality is two people were considered "insignificant" and therefore eliminated to elevate a politician and gain sympathy from a lunatic crowd.
Did the shooter have his own advance team? Was the rifle he used there before he climbed the roof? Why was he not questioned if it had been seen on his person on ground level?

The device, which was typically used by shooters, should have been confiscated. This is highly suspicious. The individual should have been surveilled throughout the venue.
It makes sense if an attendee's threat warrants a stronger response from the onsite authorities yet only gets a "Sorry, you can't come in with that". Whether it was EB or the man being interviewed, I think this was the point being conveyed. Specifically, why would anyone benignly bring a range finder to the event? Were they looking to drive some golf balls on site before the rally?

Also, attendees have given interviews stating a gunman was killed at the water tower, and another escaped. SS cleared the area because an active shooter was on the loose. According to redacted news, a bullet was recovered that traveled 488 yards, which happens to be the exact distance from the stage to the gymnastics place in direct line of sight from one another. This is a clear coverup, which explains why DHS and SS refuse to release a report or allow director Cheatle to talk to anyone. The "official" story keeps changing and making less and less sense as they go.

Wow! This explanation is so weak. Civilians on the ground CLEARLY saw a rifle and so many were screaming this out to police and secret service people. Now we are supposed to believe that the SS sniper is having a casual conversation regarding two people looking at each other through their scope and range finders? There is a detail that this doesn't explain. How did the snipers not see the RIFLE when the shooter was pointing it at the police officer who came up the ladder? All of this just isn't believable.

I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that there would have to be so many people involved in the plan for it to be an inside job. Police would’ve had to been in on it, so would the Secret Service Snipers, the shooter himself, the Trump bodyguards, etc…

He never went through security. He was spotted OUTSIDE the metal detectors at the entry checkpoint, with a rangefinder, and acting in an atypical manner. Security/law enforcement started following him as he walked away, but lost track of him. The next time they heard anything about him is when he was noticed on the roof.
As for how he got on the roof--there are several small sheds in that building complex, short enough to climb but tall enough to make getting to the roof simple enough. Depending on how far in advance he started preparing for this, he could have even stashed a ladder in the area (or even his weapon) to simplify access and avoid the suspicious appearance of carrying it around.
There's still a lot of gaps that need to be clarified...last I heard, there was a lack of clarity about whether responsibility for securing the buildings was the official domain of Secret Service vs local law enforcement (both are claiming the other was responsible for securing that area). If that confusion was actual, as opposed to finger-pointing to shift blame, it answers a lot of questions about how he was able to make it to a rooftop that close to the event.

There’s an interview of an older couple who came to the rally. His wife had an umbrella. Security took the umbrella away. Others with backpacks had them taken away… but others were allowed in.
Did he have a map of the area, showing the buildings, etc? How did he know the lay of the land, where check points were, where to park, how to get around the grounds???!!!

Trump called him a “very weird guy” and they had bad blood over real estate AND the fact that Epstein was caught asking one of trumps friends daughters to massage him. That’s when Trump banned him. Before this they were “friends” but the only time Trump is ever listen in the plane log, he is there with his wife at the time and baby daughter Tiffany. And Clinton is listed way more.

Then he went outside the perimeter to his car to get the rifle - then he got up on the roof - without crossing the perimeter again.
I.e. the problem was that, that roof was outside what they considered the perimeter. And I suspect anything outside the perimeter was handled by local police - or supposed to. Thus the confusion.
@@jarls5890 The way I understood it was that he approached with his range-finder in his hand and they picked him out as a person of interest--and worthy of being questioned and searched--but he never actually passed through the screening process and the magnetometer. Happy to be corrected however if that's not the case.

I think you assume too much. I don't believe that it's absolutely clear whether he went through security or not at any point. Maybe he did or didn't. What is clear is he was at the security clearance area with his range-finder in clear view of the security screeners; perhaps they spoke and spoke about the range-finder whether he ended up going completely through the screen or not. It's clear he left that area and ended up later on the roof. That's all we absolutely know for certain at this point. Also, keep in mind, the presenters have a producer talking to them at times in their earpiece. I'd imagine, depending on when and what they producer says, it can be quite difficult to stay 100% engaged with their guest.

There was even another video someone took at the rally that just so happened to have him in the background just outside the gated area standing there looking on at the event.

The high school photo was from 3 years ago. They showed a video his high school graduation and he looked the same. A small guy like that isn't going to age much in 3 years.

How many times did he have to say that the shooter didn't go through the security check and she still ended the segment with shocking details, how did he get his "scope" through the security. The real question is why did he want to put himself in a position that security would see him using a range finder. Was he trying to get caught? Was he hoping to create a distraction?
