@@aztecelotl asshole? unfair characterization. zoya, chris left the series because a director who treated the crew badly was invited back by the show’s producers even after chris complained on the crew’s behalf. as a working class guy proud of his roots, chris would not condone this abusive behavior, & rightly so. chris kept this quiet until he clearly started getting blacklisted on the bbc. cute footage exists on youtube of chris helping a young man propose to his girlfriend
His book ( I Love the Bones of You) is so brilliant. I'm listening to him reading it on BorrowBox. It's a memoir in the most excellent sense. It's brave, and beautifully written.
I bought a signed copy and shipped directly from UK. I wish one day I can have a chance to meet him in person in CON and have it signed again by him. Love every page of it. 😂
