Aspinall is one of the greatest personalities in darts. The fact he was being booed at the end there is shameful. Everyone wants to see Littler win his first PL night, but be respectful. The support Humphreys and Aspinall show to Littler is fantastic!
The Asp is pure class, always celebrating his opponents when they do well and an incredible player himself.
Credit to Littler for trying to shush the boos, I know he's got a huge following but the lad remains so humble.

@@I3AcKP4cK True, Littler is a sore loser atm, but he is also just 17 and teenagers can easily be classy when thing go well but unhinged when it does not.
I think both Heta and another guys that beat him, gave him a talking to about it, so eventually he should learn that he can't win every time.

â@@MrLewbaah watch the end of the 2019 Wimbledon final. Federer better player all game and should have won, yet you can see a genuine smile on his face at the end. Undisputed greatest grass court player of all time but still happy for his opponent when he wins. Unfortunately most people aren't like Asp and Federer, but there are a few of us who can feel genuine happiness for some else's success.

Throwing Littler into the Premier League has turned out to be a fantastic decision. His emergence has really added some spice to things.
He wasn't "thrown in", its not like he was a wild card or something, and it was some mad decision or gamble, he EARNED his place by reaching the World final! Didn't just drop out the sky like! đ€Šââïž
@@tallpaul7130 reaching a world final isn't in an of itself worthy of a premier league place, especially given his age. Many players have been chewed up by playing in it. He's still a kid let's remember, however talented. Many people within darts were questioning whether it was the right decision

@@tallpaul7130 He quite literally was a wild card, since he is not part of the top 4 in the Order of Merit. Reaching a world championship final does not earn you a premier league spot right away (Kerk Shepherd for example), and I can guarantee you they will have talked about this with Luke beforehand, since the premier league has burnt out a fair amount of players. If it was a good decision or not remains to be seen. Yes, he has won the world youth championship before his appearance in the final of the world darts championship, and he was always going to be a contender for a spot, but giving a spot to a seventeen-year-old is still a big thing that should not be taken lightly. It puts a lot of stress on him, whether or not he can handle that, maybe even likes it, or if it does harm in the long run, is yet to be seen.

What was so nice is that Nathan and Luke were having fun playing darts and the crowd were so good did not matter who won to them it was the show that mattered just amazing.
Some of the crowd were booing Asp at the end though on his doubles.
Nathan is awesome like that, when Luke got the Bull-25-bull he smiled big and went up for a low 5. Sport doesn't get much better than that IMO.

As an American, I love Luke the Nuke. We don't have darts in the U.S. (at this level). Same with snooker. Luke Littler is very much like the Rocket---a prodigy. You're lucky to have more than football, baseball, and basketball.

Say what you want about any of the players abilities and characteristics but,
You simply CANNOT dislike Aspinall. Seems so authentic and genuine, enjoying life and enjoying the moments. Never negative, always passionate. Happy for his opponents.
Nobody will say anything about littler waving his hand telling the crowd to stop booing when asp was going for the 70 out. Only haters will say hes arrogant its kinda funny. Love the asp very graceful in defeat.

They could win it for many years if they keep playing at that level. A SMITH - Humphries pair should be lethal in May or June .

He's too friendly and then he loses concentration.
Just my opinion.
Everyone said the same about Gerwen v Taylor 10-12 years ago, then came Ando, Wright&Price to the oche and rocked their places on it too. No one thought 3 years ago that every single bit of victory would be a lifeline for Wright, yet here we are. I think it's unwise to make preconceptions that long of time.

Even when Wright was world champion he changed darts every set that's just not sustainable imo
What I admire most about Luke's (Humphries more to be fair) is that the release from H just looks so repeatable every time that his scoring will always be there
Littler making some changes but he already has a pedigree about him.
I do proceed with some caution with Littler because only 3 years ago everyone thought Josh Rock was going to be the next big thing and it ruined him.
Humphries will dominate for a long time now I think because he's already won everything so the pressure valve is already lifted.
@@emmitttraynor8939 The pressure was off from MvG in '14 too and he was an even more clinical thrower back then than Humphries, still he had to wait three years to get back on top. Predictions like this are not really aging well in the last decade
