This is with the huge owner funding, in 2011 City had a £195m loss. Clubs that get away with everything whilst Forest/Everton are having points deducted.

@@KJ_2020I disagree. United would for sure love to be winning the champions league and making farther year in and year out. You obviously have to do good in your league to get into the UCL. The PL is amazing it is one of the best if not the best domestic league in the world. But there is one league better which is the champions league. The best teams all across Europe going head 2 head. Most teams apart from a team like antwerp are all top quality sides in the champions league. It’s more entertaining and higher quality. In the UCL you can’t afford to play one or two bad games because that can cost you getting knocked out where as in a league you can afford to lose a game or a couple. I mean look at city they have won a lot of prem recently but look at how long and hard it was for them to win the UCL. Let that be a natural process rather than analysing a perceived over or under reaction. VAR is already doing a great job of robbing a natural reaction to a goal scored as we aren't sure if it's definitely a goal or not until the 📐 is out. Celebrate and enjoy the moment!

Sir Alex Ferguson over Pep whether it’s the Premier League or world football.
I get with modern day people see Pep’s style of play. But everything he is doing has been done before by Cruyff (total football), Sir Alex (having two world class players in each position for the PL run in or fluid tactics in game), and Arrigo Sacchi (high defensive line).
Sir Alex on the other hand had minnows like Aberdeen win the Scottish League (which they haven’t won in 40 years). Sir Alex also beat Real Madrid in the European Cup Winners Cup Final with Aberdeen, and no one has beaten Real in a European Cup Final since Sir Alex (another record that stands 40+ years).
Sir Alex Ferguson’s United were breathtaking and electric to watch (like Klopp’s Liverpool today). And He won the Treble with 7 youth academy players out of 15 in his squad whereas Pep’s City has breached 115 FFP rules and his Barcelona needed the refs to bail him out vs Chelsea in 2009 and vs Arsenal in 2011. Lastly, if anyone says “but Pep beat Fergie twice” - by that logic I have four words for them - Ole greater than Pep.

They set the highest standard but when talking about great rivalries there's a lot more to consider than that.
