Keane "Yeah that was a wreckless challenge on Gus Poyet.....I enjoyed it". GN; "It was the charity shield'. Keane "I had to put a marker down early in the season". He is absolute gold
Roy: I only got sent off a few times
30 minutes later they're still going through the list of his red cards.
Exactly my thinking! Hilarious!

Love that Wrighty and Keano get on so well.
Very Yin and Yang in the best way
That's their job.
Everyone gets along with Roy Keane 😂
Wrighty visiting Roy at home.. Pleasantly Unexpected
@@tastas8554you must have your fingers in your ears
Ian Wright is massively important to the evolution of Roy Keane as he ages, it’s great to see, Keane was always very guarded and kept himself to himself, Wrighty is so emotional and openly loving that he’s broken down Roy’s guard, it’s brilliant to see.
You hit the nail on the head!
@@Butterratbee absolutely they do, in a similar fashion too
You’re seeing what you want. Keano’s never been closed off.
If anything Wright brings an air of hypocrisy to the table.
Roy realised he didn't have what it takes to be a top class manager so he's settled into a new career he can actually excel at,even if its one he viewed with derision previously
that's because his media career has always been punditry. He isn't in punditry to have a laugh and show us his personality. This setting lets him do that. You're right overall though 100%. Great to watch.
Mate. Ian Wright is a proper man. Rolemodel. Dudes oozing class, in touch with his emotions, grounded. Probably my favourite legend of the game.
Wish his player was better on fifa but I agree with all the above ❤
Keane describing his red cards is gold hahaha 😂
You can see he is sort of proud of doing what he did
Keane stomping on Southgate was gold, Have it on repeat. 😁
A real honest bloke love him 😂

"He deserved that though" 😂
The only annoying thing about this series is having to wait a week for the next episode. Absolute gold

Thank you for not typing a soppy comment about roy and wrighty being mates👍🏻
Trust me pal u wouldn’t be able to all episodes if they were out regularly as u want them..and d quality might different if it’s dropped often .

I don’t think I’ve laughed as hard as when going through Roy’s red cards. Literal tears. Such a legend 🤣🤣
How Roy manages to make you absolutely roar with laughter with so few words is beyond me

Absolutely mental, I thought he was same age as Roy Keane... ROY IS 52!

Looks amazing for 60. Guys just got it.
one of arsenals best ever players and he didn't even sign for them until he was 28. he paid his dues with palace.
I warmed to Wrighty when I saw him meet his old teacher - it made me cry!
Mr Pidgen or Piggen. The way he took his hat off to greet him and the tears after he realised he was alive! So wholesome
Good old Mr Pigden...a very touching reunion indeed...😍⚽️😍⚽️
Me. Pigden passed away in 2017 aged 92
Brilliant clip and so great to see Wrighty happy and becoming an elder statesman.
I have to admit that scene was so amazing. It made me cry and shows the power of a good teacher and how important they can be in young peoples lives
Keano patting Wrighty on the back, beaming with pride, as Wrighty says he smashed the ref's room up 😂😂😂
😂😂😂👏👏👏👌
Every time Roy said "he deserved it" and Wrighty laughed, I absolutely lost it! This is too good man
"I enjoyed that one"
I love how Roy is just constantly eating throughout the whole episode 😂😂

@@bel6891hahahaha 100% agree our wakes and funerals say it all
it is always placed in front of him as well 🤣😂🤣😂
Ian is so open and emotionally honest. It's very nice to see.
When he said about getting angry at feeling injust I immediately knew what he meant , I was almost fired at the post office for going off at the boss for giving me a warning when it wasn't directly my fault , rather than accepting it I just went mad , what made it worse was workmates making it seem like the warning was more serious than it was , and that just made me think I'm not having this , you think you are going to be emotionally stable and have a normal conversation but as soon as I spoke I'm shouting kicking doors etc.. I was sent home , I think I was let off due to my normally calm and respectful manner so they gave a written warning and left it there.
In fact when wrighty was saying how it felt, part if me was getting twitchy over something 20 years ago 😂😂😂
Roy and Wrighty is the friendship I didn't know I needed in my life - absolutely love it when they are on screen together having a proper bromance! Goes to show chalk and cheese does work. Also, as an Ipswich fan, I'm intrigued to know what Roy makes of our progress?
100% Two top chaps. love it
He would be very happy re Ipswich I'm. Sure

I loved the little nod Keane gave Wright and being the +1 for a cup of tea 😂
Their friendship is the most WHOLESOME thing I've ever seen!!!! 🥰😂😂😂
Wrighty’s been a proper inspiration throughout my life (I’m 40). Hope I look that good at 60. When I watch my son running around pretending to be Saka, makes me remember how much I wanted to be Wrighty as a kid.
Beautiful ain’t it
I love that Wrighty just shows up at Keane’s door & he knows he’s not going to turn him away 🤣
and he has a bowl of stew
The pat on the back Roy gave Wrighty for smashing the refs room is pure gold 😂 proud Keano 😂
Loved it 😂
Roy and Wrighty's bromance is becoming so nice to watch. Loving this show so much.
Isn’t it strange how relationships develop over time, you’d have never thought from their playing days that Keane and Wrighty today would be such great friends.
I've said it before, but you mellow out once you're out of the high scrutiny positions you're in. We see it with Jaime and Gary on Sky. They were constantly at each others' throats when they played, and you can understand that it was about competition, especially during the Golden Age of Man United and for Jaime, playing after Liverpool came down from their Golden Age. Whether it was winning the league, FA Cup, or Champions League, they were constantly competing for something only one team could win. It's why Keane and Vieira were able to get together a couple of years ago and make a combined Arsenal/United XI. They weren't competing anymore, so they were able to talk a lot more calmly to each other.
Roy and Viera shared ice cream in Moscow. You let things go after you retire
What, because they weren't teammates? Friendships form from personality, not where you are. It just means it's easier to connect with someone you see more regularly
This programme is heart warming, the friendship bond between Roy and Ian is just lovely.
Agreed, but Keano is cheating on Micah tho 😭
When Ian was talking about smashing the refs room up, Keano looks like a proud dad 😂 even gives him a little pat
I love that uncle Wrighty goes to uncle Roys house for some stew before filming 😂
Very wholesome. I'll bet the stew was incredible.
Love how Roy remembers each incident 😂

Well they both hate Peter Schmeichel so that's probably why 😂
Would love to see, "Stew Time ft Wrighty and Keane..."
Yeah... you can see that...in fact you can see a lot of friendship in this series... but honesty... and they all say what they want..effing and blinding, saying it as it is. Excellent. No BBC sitting on the fence £3million a year+ rising to £12 million for just grinning.

Ian’s 60 🤯 looks 40 max! what a guy, As a United fan I’m not ashamed to say I’ve always loved him! Proper forward 🔥
Was thinking the same. He looks young af for his age
60 to me doesn’t seem old like it used to in the past.
Ian Wright is a real one, Neville couldn’t believe he disagreed with him on criticising VAR😂
Glad he spoke his mind! Exactly what most pundits are afraid to do...toeing the line like the former ref said " the least contact on the goalies get given as fouls after a goal is scored and yet a whole two handed clear push and they say its not obvious and gives a goal! Football gone mad!
Absolutely love wrighty saying that. While I don't wholly agree with him, you can see its what he truly believes, other pundits could take notes from him and roy

And that is why Wright won't ever work for sky. Neville is a company man and knows to toe the line

This is my favourite football podcast. It's so much fun. Properly funny and enjoyable. Feels like you're in the pub with some mates. LOVE Wrighty. National treasure.
I love the banter in these podcasts, everyone has such great chemistry. The red card section was brilliant, “Was it reckless?” “Yeah it was but I enjoyed it.”
Also, my mind was blown learning Wrighty had turned 60 though, that’s crazy to me.
This is the BEST SHOW on YOU TUBE - the banter is brilliant the conversations and summation of football issues is brilliant to listen to - please keep it up. Love it!
Reading about Wrights England career, or lack of, for a player at his level is ridiculous.
Taylor managed 38 matches and only gave Wright 9 starts and was choosing people such as Nigel Clough, David Hirst and Brian Deane ahead of him.
Venables seemed to treat him even worse with game time.
By the time Hoddle came in he was already 33.
A player as good as Wright to never get selected for a World Cup or a Euros, when there were 3 opportunities is a joke.
He wasn't white.
@@thelockerroom873 neither was Brian Deane but i get your point
3 opportunities is pushing it to be fair. He wasn’t even close in 1990, he wasn’t even a starter for palace. Should have been in the 1992 squad, was brilliant for Arsenal the season before. 1996 he was rightly left out. Wasn’t scoring at his old rate anymore and the strikers on the squad were all top class and in form. 1998 he was injured and arguably past his best anyway.
Huge disgrace
@@chockablock34839I'm 34 so I don't remember Ian Wrights England performances to be honest but I do find it very strange that you have 3 amazing English strikers, Ian Wright, Andy Cole and Les Ferdinand all playing around the same time and yet between them they have only 65 England Caps. Wright has 1 more than the total of Cole and Ferdinand together. Baring in mind these 3 players scored a total of 652 league goals, the vast majority of which were in the top English division.
They had a few things in common. They scored goals for fun and they weren't white. May not be a factor but I think it was
Ian Wright doesn’t get enough respect for how good a player he was. Other than Dalglish, I honestly can’t recall a more two-footed finisher.
