Hey Beebs... Waiting patiently for Met review!
Yes
Me too 🫣😊
I'm hoping it hits on Friday evening / Saturday. I'm planning my entire weekend around setting in with a Beebs review!
Same! As soon as I saw it I dashed to this channel😂. I’ll wait😌💕
I came looking for it too. 😂
Gianni Versace is a legend!
I would love to see you do a video on Alexander McQueen
Beebs, I sure hope Versace is paying you handsomely for the great video you produced about their magnificent house. My favorite designer houses are Versace, Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, and Alexander McQueen.
If I had money; and let’s face it taller and skinnier I would love to wear Versace. The materials are so rich and opulent in style and colour, just gorgeous
The beauty of Versace is that they can dress women that are not tall and skinny. Look at Salma Hayek in this gorgeous blue dress at the Oscars. It was just perfect.
Love this video!!!!!!I have a Versace lime green with fuschia flowers mini dress from 1996! It came with a small magnifying glass to read the micro serial number on the sewn in tag which could be mailed in with the info written on the attached size tag to be registered for authenticity. This was pre-computer age!!
Wonderful video Beebs! I'm old enough to remember the Elizabeth Hurley dress -
I'm a KPop fan and one of the members of Stray Kids is a brand ambassador for Versace. His nickname is "The Prince" and Donatella had a crown made for him. His name is Hyunjin. Good guy, good band. As usual I love the video.
Thank you for covering a variety of topics
Ah Beebs, I love this! Some beautiful fashions shown here, thank you for educating us all in the world of Versace. I'd love your views on Alexander McQueen. Thank you ❤❤❤
I loved Versace in the 90s, the clothes were fabulous and the supermodels were the ultimate vision of beauty and glam! Still love it!
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Elie Saab ♥
I love their Crystal Noir perfume. People stop me to ask what I'm wearing all the time.
I don’t care a bit about fashion, but I love your channel, and this is a great series!!
I'd love to see Givenchy❤
The relationship between the brand and Audrey Hepburn is really interesting, please consider to make a vid on it, Ms. Beebs!
This was very thoughtful and educational! Please do more videos like this! Can't wait for Dior and Alexander McQueen
Prada - Burberry - Coach
I love, love, loved Christy Turlington, Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer & Elle McPherson. I was a teenager in the 90’s and I remember having Special edition mags of the Supermodels and I used to have their pics covering my walls. Even used to do the Cindy Crawford workout vid daily (the 1st one). Models come and go but they were, and remain THE Supermodels in my humble opinion…
I love the colourful boldness of Versace. I can feel the designers exitement, playfulness, passion & power and when I look at their designs.Their style/expression has inspired maaany other designers, just as there are plenty of cheap knock off’s and copies everwhere. The market is flooded with “Vresace’s”, “Verdace’s” & “Servace’s”. But nothing says Versace more than 🔥🏺Versace🏺🔥!
I would also love a video about Vivienne Westwood😍
It was a pleasure to hear you talk about Versace. If you ever like to do it and you've done all the globally famous ones, maybe you can take a look at Max Heymans. World famous in the Netherlands 😊.
I don't wear their clothes (I don't thing any stores near me sells it) but I love their fragrances!
Love this! Also, I can't wait for your opinions on the Met Gala! I'm patiently waiting over here 😁
🎉Ooooooo, Me too❤ Met Gala🎉
THANK YOU ❤ as italian following your channel I felt so proud that you found it important to teach how to right pronounce the family name. With the G of Gianni we have still to work on (sometimes it sounds like a strong gi and sometimes a little bit like shi 😂). At the end we had a great stylist and don't know what he could have created today.
20 years ago I got a pair of prescription eyeglass frames that I wore for years until they finally fell apart. They were the most comfortable and fashionable frames I’ve ever worn. I do however have still a pair of 16 year Versace sunglasses that I still wear.
I felt as though I was taking a course on the History of Fashion!! This was so well researched and presented! Kudos, Beebs, thanks for all your hard work!
Hiya Beebs ~ This was so cool. I learned something!! I do love your content. I’m old enough to be your Grandmother & I know I told you before, you’re a breath of fresh air!! Thanks!!
as always, I enjoyed your video I'd like to see a video about Chanel! :)
I love original Gianni Versace designs. My favorite line is the Pop art collection. It’s so tragic, the way he was murdered. Linda , Naomi, Claudia, Christy, Cindy. Iconic.
Love your video thumbnail/video cover. Of course your content is professional and well put together as usual.
Versace manages to make women look sexy, sophisticated, smart, feminine and powerful all at the same time
In general I don’t care for Versace, but that bondage collection is excellent, the ballgown especially. If they pulled that forward and did it in pastels, that would be a good season for them.
Thank you Beebs. I never realized Versace began in 1978!! I love some of his designs.
❤Great Video awesome as always Beebs🎉 I would like to see a Victoria Beckham video. I think a lot of people brush her off and say she’s just able to “play around in the design world because she’s famous.” But I don’t think that is true. I also love the age appropriate styles and outfits she does for her & David’s daughter, Harper. If I was rich and needed someone to dress my tween-teen I would go to her!!
I enjoyed this information
Love this. Would love to see Chanel and a luxury purse segment.
I would too. Coco Chanel has a really dark period when the Nazi’s were in power. Some people say she took advantage of the situation. Others say she just did what she had to so she survived World War II. At 66 years old I have come to realize that none of us really knows for sure what WE would have done.
Yes, purses would be great!
Hello and good morning, I forgot to tell you about something I found a few days ago, that you might find amusing. You know the white dress that Mrs. Henry Mountbatten-Windsor was wearing when she was crashing her husband's polo competition? I stumbled onto the sewing pattern for that dress. It's Vogue 1883. The only difference might be if the whitish dress she was wearing is backless. So whoever made the dress she was wearing, only had to get the measurements and use the commercial pattern.
I can hear people in the crowd saying: that dress 1883 has box pleats, whilst the white dress has tucks so the dresses are vastly different. Well I would countered that with calling to attention the almost identical tasks of making pleats and making tucks, and it would be a good way to personalize a readily available pattern. It might have been to get the image of some space between her bust and her waist. Would I to sew it for myself I would have kept the pleats and transferred most of that width to my backside (and possibly to my hip area). I have a long torso, no rear end, and narrow hips (possibly a rectangular or inverted triangular body shape to live in), and I usually require high waisted everything. Yours, Ann
💯👍👍👍❤
incredible Broadcast..
Wonderful, fun and educational video 🎉❤
Your summary of each fashion house really makes me appreciate the differences in style and take a fresh look at my own wardrobe 😎🥳
ty Beebs so enjoyable and informative, In the 1970 I fell in love with Yves Saint Laurent after finding an article about his work in the Time magazine. Recently I have been WOWed by the designer Iris Van Herpen after seeing a picture of a dress worn by Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
The collaboration they did with Dua Lipa was magnificent. If I'd had the money I would have bought the lot. Not one piece did I dislike. Watching Vittoria and Mona walk was perfection. I like their runway shows the most.
❤Hey Beebs🎉 Ummm, obviously I’m really old, the first name that jumped into my mind was Jordache (sp?), because at the height of their power and influence I was a single mom with a teenage daughter ~ oh my goodness ~ the drama!! And Calvin Kline, Gloria VanderBilt. And she is not a designer per she, but I would LOVE to see a deep dive on ANNA WINTOUR!!! Anything you do is awesome and I always watch everything!!
Really enjoyed this video! And I'm not much of a fashion woman. I'm surprised the views are so low.
Thank you! 👍👋
Great information. Thank you. 😍
I loveee Therry Mugler and Elie saab, both pretty different (one did bird dress and one did princess dress lol) I hope some day I can become a designer and cosmetologist
Lilly Pulitzer and Ralph Lauren --- neither are edgy, I'd just like your take
Great video! Thank you 👍
Such a cool video! Thanks! I would like a Fendi video, please. Have a wonderful weekend and Mothersday
Terrific video as always... thanks.
You taught me so much with this video, Beebs. Thank you! 🤗
Beautiful video Beebs❤
Very educational too🎉
Thanks for another great video! I found I am more drawn to Versace than I ever thought. I typically wear interesting/detailed makeup with plain clothes in neutral colors, but now I’m interested in experimenting with the opposite. I’d love to see your take on Maison Margiela
I love the Versace clothes but Donatella is starting to look quite scary. Morphing into a cross between Janis from The Muppets and a creature from The Dark Crystal.
💯percent in agreement!! And I love the way you described it! 😂😂❤
Thanks, Beebs - very interesting and instructive!
As for a designer you might like to feature: what about Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel?
Chanel must be in a list like this 😊
I’d like to see Dolce and Gabana, Chanel, Givenchy, Gucci, McQueen. Loved this video and I am looking forward to scaparelli (sp?)
Loved some of it !
Hyunjin (Stray Kids Versace ambassador) went to Milan Fashion Week and sat in the front row next to Anne Hathaway, who seemed charmed by him.
I would enjoy a look at each designer that the Duchess of Cambridge wears. Starting with Jenny Packham. ❤
Great video and research. I'm not a fan of Versace, but I had no idea he was assassinated.
Great video! Gucci is a fun one..😊
Thank you Beebs - Love ur show. 😁😁 xx
Hi, And a good day to you too. We just reached Friday over here, but I suspect that you still in Thursday mood over there. I can't say that I have a favorite couture house butt I'm looking forward to Schiaparelli, and especially the hats he is famous for. I think I also like Alexander McQueen, and absolutely like Filippa K but I wouldn't think of them as couturiers. Then there is Thierry Mugler, but the same there did he run a couture house? Have a lovely day. Yours, Ann
wow, love your comments. I love the vibrant colors except for the mostly all yellow, I'm not a bright yellow person.
Hi beebs Do u have a video/short or can you make one on how to do cute fashion knots? Thx
Love it.
Thank you Beebs for all videos you do give excellent reviews history and insights into fashion. At my age 64 difficult with average budget to finding clothing suitable but fresh ,sensible and feminine. Would be nice to know throw pieces together mix and match high end with budget friendly curvy camouflage flappy upper arms thank goodness neck chest legs still looking decent lol 😂
If possible height in some video help SOS. What’s your opinion on coco Chanel fashion she in or out also Carolina Herrera really like her sense of femininity styles
I'll check out at TJMaxx nest time I'm there!!
Stella McCartney!!🎉❤
I think Versace can be gorgeous and also ugly in other designs. Some designs can actually be worn by normal people where others need hidden away in a closet somewhere. I do have a small bottle of Versace fragrance that I wear for really special occasions. You know who I’ve seen come along pretty popular lately? Victoria Beckham. She has some awesome fashions. She’s fairly short and thin and looks great in casual clothing. Since I retired, I live in casual clothes. It’s been months since I’ve actually dressed up in something other than casual. I also like Dior now that they told Meghan to get lost. I’m very disappointed in Carolina Herrera (sp)? She’s ruined her reputation by dressing Meghan.
I agree with you 💯 percent! I would also like to see a Victoria Beckham video.
Great video!
Thx, really enjoyed this. Would like to see more. How about Halston and Bob Macklemore?
Bob Mackie!
Beebs means like 👍🏻
Thanks!
Thank you!! 😃
Hola Beebs. You are slimmer. Looking good!
Alexander McQueen please. ❤
I remember when Gianni Versace was killed in Miami … such a tragedy. 😢
I'd love to know more about the Balaciaga drama and company. xxJane
Oh, do Dolce and Gabbana!
Hi Beebs ❣️ thank you ❣️
💛💛💛 thank you
Perhaps Chanel?
Versace's loud prints never impressed me. The pieces are very well made, though. The seams and designs always match perfectly. Alexander McQueen's designs are most impressive, and Princess Catherine wears them so well!
My comment disappeared 😢 silly me
Schiaparelli = czcams.com/video/imhomjOqtMA/video.html (the first "i" MUST be pronounced)☮
I appreciate this series and you did a great job on this video! But I don’t like the designs at all… looks like their red carpet designs are 100% improvement over the runway looks.
First time in a year wearing a bra!!! Not just a crop top!!!
Classicism = classisism the second c is pronounced as s
I've always preferred Armani, personally. Nothing of Versace's could actually be worn by the likes of me. The Versace aesthetic to me is just... tacky and sleezy.
"HISTORIC ART" ? The medusa head is NOT a versace design he did not come up with that he took it from ancient art ! Used by BOTH Ita Greeks artiss the Medusa was used by the Greeks in the 1st 2nd century AD !
It not a design be Versaca!
Yes
didn't watch it all, sorry I am just not interested in his/her designs
