“The Mach E has been a relative success for Ford”..what are you talking about? The Mach E has been a multi billion dollar disaster for Ford. How many months or years supply of that crap bucket are there? What about depreciation it’s horrible. Wow what an odd comment.

Environmentalists will never mention how much Diesel gas is required to extract the lithium, or how much environmental damage the leech ponds do. They'll never talk about how toxic the smoke is from an EV fire. EVs are great for people who want them. I believe they should exist as one of many available options. The car buying public has spoken loud and clear and rendered their verdict on these cars. Transportation is not a one size fits all solution. What works for someone in the city doesn't work for someone in the country. Charging infrastructure is not ready for prime time.

You bring up the cell phone and it reminds me on something rarely talked about and that is how all the new vehicles are storing and almost openly sharing all the information you do with your car. If you link your phone, that information is also shared. Just about everything you do in your car is data collected and used/sold, open for law enforcement to examine, all without so much as a notice or warrant. True story. Your information with your vehicle is pretty wide open and the judicial system made sure of it. While it won't affect most of us, it is pretty creepy. Duck duck go it... I'm also leery of google, but we are stuck with electronics having access to our activities. I do love your videos, I think you are spot on, but there is more to be discussed. Thanks for all your information.

If you buy an internal combustion vehicle take good care of it and do the maintenance It could last over 200,000 miles An electric vehicle only has 100,000 mile warranty You have to spend 20 or $30,000 if the battery goes bad I'd rather drive an internal combustion engine vehicle Due the excessive weight of the battery how many times do you have to replace those expensive tires in 100,000 miles What if a family member suddenly gets sick and they must go to the hospital But the battery in your home charger hasn't charged your car What do you do then What if you're a single woman has to charge her vehicle but i'ts not in a safe area The Young female is all alone She has to stay there and wait a long time until she the car's battery is charged up enough to leave

In British Columbia, the government stopped giving Five grand incentives. Of course the dealers are whining. They would have just raised the price and extra five.
How many dealers in BC charged way over MSRP and made lots of cash during the last few years. I was at a Chrysler dealer today and the lot is quite full of all their products. Can't believe they brought in about ten FIAT 500s. They whine as much as the real estate industry does. OK not quite that much.

EV’e don’t save energy, they only change where the energy is produced… so people can say they are green, the power plants still have to produce that energy. And some is lost in transmitting the power to the charging point, needing to a loss right there, before any charging has occured

Actually, in the real actual world, new EV sales are up 11% while ICE sales are slightly down in the US. EV sales are up to 8% of the market from 7%. At this rate of growth, EV sales will be on double digits by End of year 2024. The EVs you trot out are old and below average models that have been replaced by better newer models, especially by other brands. While old men whine and cry about EVs China is busy kicking everyone’s behind and producing new EVs every month. North America is going to reap what it sows. The future is EVs, and China is busy being busy in this technology. Old men crying about V8’s and how they break down now all the time are only going to get angrier and angrier as EVs grow and grow.

I don’t know why anyone would buy an ev from legacy auto. However Tesla sales were down slightly just not nearly as much as ice sales. Tough times, loans cost is high for all. But teslas catch fire at a rate 1/10 as often as ice vehicles, they are safer, sportier and you are likely to save over 20,000$ on fuel savings over the life of the vehicle. Go to any dealer and see that the lots are full, legacy auto depends on government money ( your money) to continue failing. I have put over 50,000 miles on mine in the two years I have owned it I don’t have any problems with charging. Why this site feels the need to refer to Tesla and tell lies shows how the paradigm has shifted to ev’s.

Thanks for sharing and I am not hating the vehicles and believe they provide certain benefits. The story line of environmental protectionism is Ludacris but from an ownership perspective, they offer an experience that nothing else does. Choice is good. Rule with iron fist and lies is not.
