The new patch was a step in the right direction. Chargers being weak in the head to rockets, but having larger hordes of smaller bugs is a good trade off. This next update is gonna be set the tone of where the game goes next

@@TheNorthie I think all the patches have been pretty solid honestly. Some stuff that people have some reason to be upset about, but I think they fit what the game is trying to do. Helldivers SHOULD be hard, especially on higher difficulties.

As a vet that adored the first game? I'm glad the sequel has popularized everything about this IP and its inspirations! I'm excited for the old things to return and what else they have in store for the future, AH are cooking soo much Liber-Tea and we're all along for the ride to spreading managed democracy.

I picked up this and DRG in about the same week time span.
I can confidently say that unless something of immense interest comes up, my gaming needs are met for the foreseeable future.
And thanks to the progression systems of both, I feel like I can comfortably ping back and forth between them as the mood suits me.

The main issue isnt helldivers its that other big studios might think live service games work, which if done sure! Helldivers is the quite possibly the best game ive ever played. But live service has left a horrible taste in my mouth sense payday 3. I just hope they dont look at helldivers and think live service commonly works, its difficult to pull off and so far from my experience its a game killer

Yeah unfortunately there’s a lot more bad live service than there is good, but hopefully HD2 is a good example of what makes a great game moving forward.
