  • Whether you're new to the sport or you've been playing a long time, there are some throws which are crucial to being a good handler. Some of these throws you will use far less often than the standard forehand and backhand but it's good to know how to throw all of these throws. They are, in order:
    - Backhand
    - Airbounce Backhand
    - Forehand
    - Scoober
    - Hammer
    - Thumber
    - Push Pass
    - High Release Backhand
    - High Release Forehand
    - Backhand Huck
    - Forehand Huck
    - Pull

The disc I'm throwing is a custom Ultimate Rob Discraft Ultrastar which you can buy at www.discace.com/ultimate-rob.
The song is a cover of Can't Hold us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis done by Max Schneider and Kurt Hugo Schneider: • "Can't Hold Us" - Mack... .

Most epic push pass I've ever seen. O.o
Any tips you can give about throwing push passes and thumbers?
I can only throw both at 3-4 meters. Beyond that is kinda hard.

Hey rob when pulling do you go for floating throws for time?
Also isnt an airbounce forehand common?

Im no mind reader but if I were to guess I would say its because while many of us have thrown every throw in this video and know when it, its not always obvious when you might want to throw say a scoober over a hammer. I think what he is saying is that it might be more useful to show scenarios where you'd want to use each of these throws. But that is just a guess.

I've heard that throwing the airbounce backhand is a bad habit. Personally, I think it varies from situation to situation. Should I throw them at all?

I think something else that could have been expanded upon is showing the difference between an outside-in throw and an inside-out throw.

    • @ElectricPyroclast

***** I see, I guess that's legitimate. What do you mean by "usually a backhand"? Is there another way to dump (other than maybe the push pass)?

What about a poor mans flick?

    • @feelingzesty8677
      @feelingzesty8677 Před 10 lety

Basically you put the disk in-between your index finger and thumb. You hold the disk horizontal to the ground and at the front of the disk. when you throw it is like a normal motion but its a full body throw
