      @@lovita3405 I had to be really persistent with the couple of local studios that offer classes. I emailed one and got put on a waiting list for a class.

    I remembered trying this at class before as a project. Most people struggled as we’re still learning the wheel but when I made one, it became lopsided and a friend and I decided that it should be abstract
    When it was finished, it was dubbed “The Five Stages of Grief” the relief after it was done was incredible

    A última parte, não menos importante que o capricho e elegância de sua arte, mostra que todo resultado é fruto de dedicação e resiliência e uma pitada de criatividade. 👏 👏 👏

    I do love your videos, i cant repeat that enough! We may be a year apart, but the amount of skill you have, has me envious! I had bought a wheel two years ago, but with my job and family its very hard to get back into it and to practice practice practice... I feel like im at a stand still with my skill. Im not looking for a response i just wanted to share and vent a little 🤷 your videos calm me, not sure if it's the pase or the calming tone you speak in. But you inspire me to try to push myself more to get back to the wheel, and even if its 10 minutes a week i try my best to make time.. but i do wish i had more time 😮‍💨 im in the wrong profession to have spare time.. 😅

    What is that wedging table made out of? I was planning on using MDO (marine grade plywood with resin overlay) but that table looks so much nicer!

    If you have already boiled water in Styrofoam. Then make a kiln out of it. Or, if you already figured out a way to screw the wide diameter cylinder part of a plastic bottle together, and it is still not completely air and liquid tight. Then a little bit more heatwork will solve that. greyishgreblum, "Pottery tap and die" w/ "cookie cutter" tap tool modification💜 if you cut your finger, there you are!

    is there a reason that you prefer brushing on cold wax as to dipping in hot wax, i’ve only ever seen people use cold wax but i know that you can use hot wax. Is one better than the other?

    • @floriangadsby
      @floriangadsby  Před rokem +2

      Well, you have to spend time melting hot wax, whereas cold wax is immediately usable. So it’s a little easier. Both work perfectly though, and molten wax perhaps brushes on a bit more smoothly.
