When you are speaking of actors playing a visually challenged character brilliantly, I must recommend Soumitra Chatterjee in Goutam Ghosh's Bengali film 'Dekha'. He is unbelievable in the movie.

Anupama asking Raj about the mocking of method acting that has been happening lately and his response to her by giving an example of DDL, wow. I knew Raj would take his name here. Even Naseer saab in one interview said that people who think method acting is not a good way to do it are foolish because to act you have to prepare and get into the character or unless you cannot even improvise because to improvise too you should know about the character.
I felt it was a very low blow on her part .. Like she's justifying whoever semi-talented people she keeps interviewing and raving about!
@@Manarita2009 They always ridicule him for this, I have seen Ranveer Singh doing that in one interview. Even she mocked Sushant when she interviewed him by taking Ranveer 's name for his method acting in Dhoni. Very shrewd of her.

Prashanth Narayanan is right when he says that these lead actor’s unnecessarily intellectualise their performances. He said one very practical thing that they do this nonsense just to justify their crazy salaries.
The massive attention his chin gets is unfair, when there are female actresses like janhvi/khushi kapoor who have evidently transformed their entire face and body with surgery. I mean their kids will not even look remotely like them. But yet this is a topic of interest.

Why does he feel the need to lie about it? It’s very clear that he didn’t just do something “nine years back”. Just look at films like Newton where his chin is very different from the enlarged structure it is today. It IS more recent and it is a permanent change he made. And the fact is that his chin, in ANY interview, not that specific image, looks extremely odd.
Why not just own it fully and move on. It’s these half truths that create fodder for ridicule.

People are talking about plastic surgery because people liked him without the chin extension and getting surgery/procedure done is a sign of his discomfort with his natural form. What their team tells an actor may be far from the truth and an actor should consider the opinion of his audiences.

He's most definitely a brilliant actor, but he's now very conscious of his image 'coz its show business...same what Manoj Vajpayee is doing lately, which doesn't suit them honestly... Pankaj Tripathi is natural on screen & off screen, they are not. You can see the difference clearly in their interviews
