At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder. Based on a true story and told through the improbable romance of Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), “Killers of the Flower Moon” is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal. Also starring Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Brendan Fraser, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion, Killers of the Flower Moon is directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Scorsese, based on David Grann’s best-selling book.
Hailing from Apple Studios, Killers of the Flower Moon was produced alongside Imperative Entertainment, Sikelia Productions and Appian Way. Producers are Scorsese, Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas and Daniel Lupi, with DiCaprio, Rick Yorn, Adam Somner, Marianne Bower, Lisa Frechette, John Atwood, Shea Kammer and Niels Juul serving as executive producers.

I remember when I learned about the true historical events behind this film. Every person in their lives betrayed and exploited them. Every white person. It was disgusting. I can't believe they don't make us learn about it in schools, along with Tulsa. I'm very glad it's being talked about now because of this film.

This is a well directed and detailed movie. I watched all of its almost 3.5 hours and didn't get bored even though the motive & agenda in the plot was clear from the beginning.
A minor spoiler alert: I don't know why, but I particularly like the ending of it as I was born in the 80s & grew up seeing my mother listen to radio stories. It evoked memories & was interesting seeing how those stories were produced.

Disagree about the ending. It was a sophomoric way to end the story and it was not at all the way an old time radio show would have handled the matter.
It is just a boring movie which like a documentary about an past event. It even tries to spread false information by trying to show ernest burkhart as kind person while he was an evil and manipulator

I thought I’d hate this film, but instead, I found it to be a fascinating & incredibly tragic story. Three & 1/2 hrs felt like 2, if that. The Osage Indians had a good deal of input into the making of the movie & depicting it with historical accuracy. And I agree, DiCaprio was amazing & I found it hard to believe he was the main character. The corruption of the human state of being is So so so sad.
Reading book first. Then will see the movie. 🎉
This movie is unbelievable. I’m still mesmerized by it. That’s how deep this movie is. I’d advise anyone to see it. I’ve seen it twice now and even bought the book by David Grann. It’s a true masterpiece. The movie is so authentic and real it’s almost as if you were there transported to that period. I’m mesmerized.

i got to see this trailers in theaters twice, and man, when that bass hits at 0:40 the whole theater sat up. all-time great trailer for an awesome movie.

I'm big fan of leonardo dicaprio I want to watch this movie I have seen all movies of him shutter island, titanic ,inception, blood diamond, Django unchained ,wolf of wall street, catch me if u can , the revenent that's it
I’m a mega fan of Sturgill Simpson but mannn I felt so bad for him. Sandwiched in between De Niro and DiCaprio, his scenes weren’t the smoothest. But he did alright for being a musician. Plus the fact that he’s a real deal bonafide country artist (along with Jason Isbell) lent some credence to their place in the film.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I thought it was funny that Pete Yorn, Sturgill and Isbell were all criminals in this movie.
