I've been playing FIFA for years religiously. I've always reached the top divisions 1 or elite, even in this FC, but I finally decided to delete the game, and it has been the best decision I've made recently. I encourage you to move on from this game. The title is 100 percent accurate. It is unsavable.

Yeah, I agree with you. I think quitting or just taking a massive step back and being more casual and relaxed is the way to go with FIFA now, as it's just not worth it.

The main issue is that you can identify you are about to get steamrolled as soon as you see the game play out while your keeper turns into Karius from the Champion League Final and your opponent's keeper is Prime Casillas
The real issue is spending money on a mode that always has problems and expecting it too change.
You expect "fair play" from a game that puts female footballers players on the same level as male players....there are women just as good as Haaland...really....😂😂

My main issue, is how so extremely unpredictable and frustrating gameplay. Regular gold players feel like bronze players. You can’t make a fun team and expect to win. It’s all about the meta.

I remember tournaments using only silver players. Dam the money really changed you FIFA.
I agree with you on all your points, but one thing is missing: i feel it is just distgusting how much they use your love for football, to introduce you to their gambling simulator. You need to login every day, do all that menu stuff. Everybody does squad battles our of pure need, not fun. And even if you just want to play with your cool team, you have no modes to do so. If you play a lot of rivals you will soon need more than just a fun team, because you are stuck with sweaty cracks. Sometimes I want to play, but atm absolutely dont want to get up in divisons. So what do I do? Go full meta or stop playing. This game messes with you mentally more than any other game I ever played.

I never stopped playing the game before march but I ended in mind November and I’ve been playing since fifa 09! I thought I was dumb for doing checking my blood pressure but it genuinely got higher after each game session which is insane for a game

Last year was sooo much worse. Turn around in the box merchants last year.

i belive playstyles have always been in the game, they just rebranded it from "Player traits" and made it look fancy
And many more players now have playstyles compared to when it was traits.
I am mostly an offline player who just plays career mode and gets enjoyment out of that but this year is kind of different, it’s just so harder to break the AI down(which i like) but what i don’t like is that their recovery pace is really nsane, i got through on goal my players randomly slows down while the AI gets a pace boost to recover and manage to put off my players, they turned the ball over in the midfield i go on a break but their CBs moves quickly for a pefect tackle or a well timed interception, try to dribble past players? nope they always tackle perfectly.
Like the AI is way too OP this year, while im up for a challenge but every defensive thing they done is so perfectly executed
I feel quite the opposite, like attack is overpowered, I just find it so hard to defend, it seems my CB are just a bunch of idiots. I also don’t like the fact that this kind of game play becomes unrealistic as most of the games finishes with scores like 6-4 or 7-5. An interesting fact about it is that on my first season I had by far the best attack in the league and yet finished in 8th place

Yes the AI CBs have magnetic feet 🧲 ⚽️ it’s super annoying. Meanwhile my CBs turn into statues when the cpu attacks.
Career mode in FC24 is awful
Bruh just make the gameplay consistent. Just make sure my players can have their brains intact on every other day. Invest in the servers and make the net code or the coding of the game better optimised so that we get consistent non biased gameplay and the player base will be happy

@@ML-wd1fh DDA is an overrated half-myth. It's the inconsistent gameplay that's the main issue, DDA implies a switch or a calculating AI difficulty system to mimic momentum in real football.
That would make sense if the gameplay felt the same all the time but there's no way a dynamic difficulty system can make a game feel like a different experience game to game which feels considerably less unpredictable at non-peak hours.
Incorrect. It would not feel the same all the time, quite the opposite. DDA is dependent on your record vs your opponent's record, your time played vs his, whether you are about to clinch another level vs is he, even the current score, and many other things. You can feel the ai difficulty change after a goal, you have seen the "visual glitch" haha.
The biggest problem with DDA is that most people can only recognize it when it is going against them and rarely when it is going for them. @@weewoo7802
The cardinal sin of any football game is when you’re trying to kick the ball and the foot goes through it. That is unsavable.

I think personally one of the biggest problems ive seen is the inconsistency in foul logic, like most of the time players get absolutely clarted and its no foul which is dumb enough but then a shoulder to shoulfer in the box is a penalty
This is a good video that encapsulates the fall of the game, as someone who has played ultimate team for 10 years now i think i can safely say this is the most unenjoyable game I've played with the byline cut in meta, and even with fun players in the team brings no enjoyment, it's really sad to see

The game has always been a shitty cashgrab. The yearly releases are already preposterous on their own. Paying 70$ to get a marginally better game built on the same engine using the same assets every year is insane.

Rivals is worse now then it used to be, a good example is when you used to draw it would give you a point towards going up a div now you get nothing and sometimes takes away you're streaks? they have been gradually get worse the game modes 😅

I'm new to FIFA champions mode and the competitive aspect of it, but honestly, more than half the time it feels like I'm not competing against my opponent, but the game itself. The disgusting lag the game has every single time. The abusing of multiple in game mechanics that puts the burden on you to do everything while they just move the depth slider up, the cut backs where your defenders all of a sudden can't defend, the step over speed burst, the non existent attacking AI where you're expected to do EVERYTHING to attack.
When it works, it's one of the most fun games out there, but it almost never does. FIFA 24 just doesn't work most of the time.

Well done making this video, I could ramble all day but to put these thoughts into a stream story that is easy to follow is a skill. This game has just taken my biggest virtual joy away. I bought FC 24 on a sale for Black Friday for 38….. have not even touched it. I’d honestly mod fifa 23 but no one explains them properly so there’s not much I can do. I’ve booted up FIFA 18 and am enjoying what I can as they shut down the servers and relocked all the boots. I’m a career mode guy that actually plays matches, goes through trainings and the motion as I’m often nostalgic of my teams good yrs… yes Real Madrid. You could still see The neglect even in those years w players not having faces scanned. Late/no additions to accurate boots or Gk gloves.. it’s so frustrating. Because this game is an e sport, it will never be realistic. It’s crazy to see konami downfall, I hope UFL causes a wave of fear, but that will be difficult with all kit licenses unavailable. It will be tough, but with FC’s market monopoly, they are literally showing us they rotten.
Hey man excellent video and excellent editing. One tip I’d give you is to make sure that your sounds on your videos are all balanced. I kept having to turn my volume up or down whenever a meme popped up or something. Other than that amazing job.

There's so much they could do with career mode.
1. Sponsorship:, When the club signs a new sponsorship, say from adidas to nike or renewing the existing ones, the owners could order us to sign a certain big name to represent the brand. Thus creating a dilemma trying to fit that new player to the existing squad.
2: Fans: Fans could also pressure the club into signing certain players. They could also want certain youth players to make 'x' amount of appearances or the manager's rating drop.
3: Player's personality: Certain players might be adamant to play certain position and if you don't, he becomes extremely unhappy and could request a transfer request.
While some players might be okay when they are played out of position, others won't be so keen to that.
Star players asking for huge increase in wage or threaten to leave the club. And with the permission of the board, if you give into his demands certain other players also starts demanding higher wages or morale becomes low. And if the board doesn't allow it, we are forced to sell the player or run his contract down.
Also, if some players don't get along with the fans we are forced to sell the player.

about the eafc, imo evolutions should be free cuz there's no point to pay 50k and more for "fodder" and about the menu on my ps5 and xbox series s, the menu IS TERRIBLE the amounts where i need to restart my eafc is horrendous, and dont even talk about the menu "speed" like ps5 ssd is too low for this crap or what?

@@Out-let and with evolutions they made for purpose of making your fav player slightly more playable (why i cannot give an one more leg for CR7 ;-; oh i forgot i have trailblazer card for only 500k hah), but these rats are using this for onlyyyy meta players besides of a few people on the earth with a man utd now and then or some type of this stuff, and in this year is a lot of FOMO in this game, you need to be constantly watching new promos, sbcs, packs and using only first owner untradable players to not be far behind of others, and for me personally eafc on pc is a decent game (players are not as ratty as on ps5) i was playing on pc (around 120h?) and the gameplay was okay, but recently i bought a ps5 and eafc and holy macaroni the amount of toxicity and sweatiness is massive, fifa/eafc are getting worse and worse since fifa 14 i think, when they remove trades (for selling coins purpose), this year the game is pure gamble and broken gameplay and forcing you to grind for a new good player cuz your striker is getting one leg less nerf for no reason, and im not even start talking about the AI attacking, 71 depth and other type of stuff cuz this would be too long (great podcast topic btw hah)

As a player career mode merchant this year has been so bad
My biggest issue is this new 1 year contract system and the objectives are soooo outrageous that I could literally score 100 goals in a season but forced to leave because I didn’t do 5 bicycle kick goals in ONE season 🤦🏾♂️
Those bicycle kick objectives are sooooo stupid.
That, and getting injured for 7 months and just hitting sim on the whole season 🤦♂️

There are times when I have literally felt the game playing for me.
I go into some matches actually WANTING to lose.
I remember one game had +1 minute added time at half time.
His defender tackled my striker about 30yards from the net, I press tackle and it shoots... the ball pea rolled from 30 yards and his keeper fell over.
This was the 49th minute.
Immediately after half time I scored an own goal and quit.

Videos are always great when you actually relate to what is being said, EA might genuinely be the worst company under the sun, bare in mind im only 16 and have been playing since fifa 14 but this is the first time I have gone through with actually getting a refund on the game. I just put in some bollocks reason to xbox and managed to get my money back and when I tell you the joy on my face was immeasurable, no R9 no Mbappe could have made me as happy when i saw my money back after purchasing the worst video game of life and I dont think anything else will ever come close to eafc 24 in terms of shitness.
Their whole yearly releases scheme is abusive af. No wonder they cant make a decent game

I always liked the FIFA's of old where your endgame team would be like a 186.But obviously people want new content these days, so I think, that there should be monthly content-every 2 weeks. the actual grind on Ultimate team should be way harder to get a overpowered team, because that's what always made it fun.

Finally a video on youtube that put the words ive been screaming about this year into a video honestly cheers mate you took all the words out my head and put it in the video i have played FC 24 so much this year manager career mode, player career mode, ultimate team, kick off, pro clubs all of it for hours and i can confidently say that this is corporate greed at its finest. I have never seen this much utter laziness and lack of care put into a game it genuinely breaks my heart to see the game i played as a kid turn into this steaming pile of shit. Career mode both player and manger was so buggy and uncreative and it’s surprising that it took them this long to actually improve them for once and GOOD JOB A FOR EFFORT they turned the garbage uncreative boring nothing burgers they call career modes into mediocre game modes and it only took them like 10 years. Don’t even get me started on ultimate team its honestly a topic that anyone can rant about. Honestly good job on the video man for not just talking about the state of ultimate team and the sweaty fan base but for talking about the game as a whole you did miss some details like the fact that they actually forgot to add a second kit for the icon team and were a bit too forgiving to those carless greedy cooperate horrible human beings and no blame these kinda details come from playing the game alot and also no blame for not going too harsh on EA and just all around a great video man keep up the good work you deserve much more subscribers for the quality videos your putting out ❤

I remember buying verratti centurions last year for 400k ish as he fit my team and I idolised him irl and within 5 hours he dropped to 280k, there’s no point in buying cards now as they drop instantly when u buy them or rise when u want to buy them.

I have several questions:
1. In Manager Career mode, when we simulate the match, are we still stuck with 2D table-top view (FM style) or now we can actually watch the match live like PES's Master League mode?
2. In Player Career mode, do we still can't specify which team we want to try moving to (like PES's Become A Legend mode) and can only rely on random offers? Will we stuck with a single team that won't let us go no matter what if we're one of those important players?
3. Are we still limited to 10 & 15 years on both modes respectively?

DAMN do you need to either speak LOUDER (I know dead people louder than you), do something with your microphone (talk into it), or decrease the volume of the memes
Why: I ain't listening to yo headphones warnings 😂 the amount of times I've had to lower the volume then bring it back up is crazy (audio imbalance: you're not loud enough and the memes are too loud)

i hope that some day we have a great football game again. It hurts me to not play football virtually but it's the right decision. I truly hope that UFL or FIFA (not from EA) can get there.
Fantastic video, mate. Completely get where you’re coming from and I almost certainly felt this around 17/18 but as a casual player these days I’m really enjoying UT.
Over 23 years of playing the FIFA franchise- you become accustomed quite quick to the broken mechanics and exploits that appear year in year out. FIFA 2000 you could score from the half way line near enough every time if you knew how. FIFA 12/13 you could score a finesse with any striker regardless of rating, bronze to gold. Kick off goals were very easy on some editions after.
A perfect football game will never exist due to reality being impossible to craft onto a video game. What are EA meant to do? People are always going to be a critic and people will always find mechanics which are slightly better.
EA have created a game where competitive gameplay is rewarded- you will always get sweats in online gaming.
I play it for the love of the football more than anything and love busting the net with my favourite striker of all time- Ruud van Nistelrooy. Is he meta? Far from it- but I’m finding great fun out of this years edition.
This is only true if the gameplay was consistent , however there's been cases for scripting , and dda . I have been playing the same time that you mention and agree on the meta issues . That's not the issue tho as like you say they're will always be people who find that out , same as using the best gun in cod ( sort of ) the real issue is the skill gap .
You used to be rewarded for being actually good at the game , spending time learning a skill move or passing combination , hell even foresight . now this isn't the case dda is helping the worse players in an effort to keep them on the game (spending money on packs ) I play people who constantly run down the wing and try and pass back for 90 minutes when I defend that they try finesse from way outside the box . Yet they can't put 4 passes together yet my players can't make a pass or turn properly then they win. It's a shame , it creates brain dead mentallity and lack of creativity . THIS IS WHY FIFA WILL BECOME THE MOST BASIC BITCH FOOTBALL GAME KNOWN TO HISTORY

the truth about all this is tho: EA themselves have decided to make the gameplay as it is for a reason which is the community.
i play fifa since 2003, ive always been very high back when there was only leaderboards, later elite 1 / rank 1 player, i used to prac with some known names so i know brainwise im a really smart player .. and that has always been me. i never abused anything, manually defend, create and score good goals by my own, i never knew and still dont know how to do any skill moves rather then the most basic ones .. i think my opinion has weight.
i am really good at reading my opponents levels, i can always tell you what level someone has been playing on / is playing on. if you are able to do this and play this game enough you know ~90% of fifa players are bad / merchants ( which are bad aswell, take mechanics from them and theyre lost ). important: im not talking about genuinely good players which just use some mechanics, its only about those who need it / get support from it.
why EA can do this? because: good players tend to have a competitive mindset, they continue playing because they want to prove themselves, prove to themselves that theyre better. meanwhile a bad player gets his highlights, fighting chances vs players which they could never fight in a good game with a healthy skillgap. this keeps both sides engaged. you might read about many players quitting, you might experience your friends quitting the game ( i had five real life friends playing fifa, for ~ four years we were usually hanging out together via voice chats playing , im the only one left playing ) which makes many think players are leaving / fifa has less players but every year theres new players / more players .. the gameplay is dying but not the community.
last week i bought a ps5. i sometimes watched some people play the new gen version, ofc also when watching reviews like inception or auzio. i knew it was bad but once you experience it yourself you really understand how awful it is. another strength i have i always been able to get a hang off games quick like ive even beaten some "pros" once a new fifa came out simply because even at that lower comp level theres players who have no fkin clue about actual good fifa and are only merchants but without yet knowing whats meta theyre lost aswell. this week i switched back to the old gen version because theres no point "learning" new gen when it has nothing to do with actually learning fifa. seriously, the dumber you are the better it is. the less active you are the better, you dont need to defend well or playerswitch, AI + auto press coupled with the unlogical and inconsistant dribbling youre fine sitting. and in attack? actually outplaying your opponent is almost impossible and why use your brain if the game offers you braindead mechanics to score? wing cutins, trivelas, finesse shots .. the worst thing is its fine to score some finesse shots if theyre timed well and from a good angle .. but you can literally concede them from the most unlogical spots, from my week of playing i had so many opponents just spamming those things yet with no brain behind it yet it gets carried by EAs mistakes its crazy. just one more example of what i always say: a good player doesnt need bad mechanics / support, a good player would never go for a dumb / unlogical play .. yet you can lose games because you dont go for it because it shouldnt work while a worse player does because hes clue and careless and gets rewarded .. new gen gameplay seriously works against everything the game used to do well / a football simulator should do well .. its sickening.
the content is the only thing that has gotten better over the years and imo is really good, it again keeps players engaged for the wrong reasons tho. evolutions? a great idea in general .. but theres a problem that makes evolutions kinda irrelevant and ive been saying it from day one since this year got announced that it will hurt the game: playstyles. its sooo important this year to have good playstyles because they heavily impact a players performance .. problem being that for the most part only the high rated cards / top players offer you good enough playstyles .. or EA drop an Evo and shortly after release a card of one of the few meta highlights the latest evo offered as seen with some examples depay being the most recent one. i did quite some evos, two standouts i want to talk about: vitinho 85 because he used to be an UT legend and has great stats .. on new gen gameplay he feels like shit tho. llorente was the only evo that was to good to pass on and hes imo the only evo so far that is actually worth having. i see quite some people with "fun teams" yet you know its not fun because all those usually low rated players even once their stats go up still play like absolute dogshit because thats in their nature and a few grey playstyles dont change shit. i experienced it myself, i did an evo of a guy called bahassa, first centurions sharpshooter then pacey winger 2, 5*5* wf player with no great stats but on old gen hes so fun to use and im absolutely cooking with him even in high ranks .. new gen? completly useless. unless you go meta you cant play that game. there used to be a time where the high level could just cook everyone who wad bad / a merchant easily with silver teams.
playstyles are bad because how good a pass, shot, dribbling or defending action is should be determined by how well i timed them ( not talking about timed finish, another braindead addition some years ago ) and what position im in. nowadays you can just have those playstyles and get absolutely biased unlogical actions because of them.
enough said, the gameplay is dead and whoever says different is clueless. its just sad seeing the game i love in such a state. ive already promised my friends: if EA dont produce the next games for old gen anymore im definetly gonna quit because they definetly wont fix shit ( fixing shit: remember when years ago we had broken corners, they community cried and EA actually nerfed them? nowadays theyre arguably more broken yet EA dont bother anymore lmao ) .. or switch to a new football sim, i have high hopes for Goals and UFL .. but i know i definetly wont play this new gen no braingap bullshit.

Yes, I totally agree. However, I think you needed to touch on SBC’s and the Pay To Win scheme; sure pay to win has always been in the game but I hate this year when the kids spend the parents credit cards to do Blanc or Beckham SBC or Spend it on Lightning Rounds which it’s unbelievable there in the game.
But you still need skill to win, don't just win because of a better team trust me I tried ahah

Yeah, I guess, as Fifa in a sense has always been a "pay to win" game, it was something I didn't really think to cover. You do need skill to win a game; however, if you take two players of the same skill level but one person has paid for a much better team, they will probably win. Definitely a valid point from you!

I only play the clubs mode, and one thing i can say for sure is the character is too much inconsistent... Sometimes you'll miss a easy pass or shot just because the game wants you to.
Is like every action you make, there's a DnD dice rolling to decide either for a great action or a critical failure. This element of luck is way overused this year.
Is frustrating hit a timed shot inside box and hit the bar or out even if you are doing always the same method, i know you need to have a risk and reward, the problem is that this always happen in that crazy games where nothing you do, will work. 😂
I can only imagine this behavior multiplied by 11 on a UT game, the EA FC players on these modes are true heroes.
The first step should be fixing the game. What that means for me is: fixing the def and atk AI so my players in attacking positions do runs and my defensive players dont do a step aside to give the oppenent space to shot or pass and fix weird animations especially the gk animations. Then they can delete the 71 depth shit and then add new modes

ive been playing efootball for a while now, and I'm starting to like it better than EA FC. The game is actually playable, the player faces are a lot more realistic than before. The graphics are pretty good now, it's just that it's a "mobile port" and that it's "konami" that makes every fifa player cringe. It's good for what it is and the events are fun to play, and i dont have to spend real money on packs, I just play regular efootball league matches. Even with authentic team, the game is fun to play. Especially since the events are different. They had an AFC champions league event, USL event, World Cup Event, etc

Content creators are just shills at this point they do not care about the enjoyment they get out of fifa, they care about their cheque at the end of the month. I like football and that is why i always come back and buy fifa but man they are a evil evil company and should not be allowed to do what they do, spend zero resources on the gameplay, make all menu players full stonk collecting their cards while us gameplay players are being f over constantly. Comp fifa should be illegal, kids got to spend 5k to even get a chance at competing. Every aspect of fifa is evil and corrupt. I'd rather be addicted to meth than addicted to fifa packs, who tf pays for packs jeeeez.
Yeah, I think myself and many others are in the same boat as you, as in, we all like football, so that's why we keep coming back. Realistically, for people who want to actually control the players on the pitch right now, there are only FIFA and Efootball, which is why FIFA gets away with so much.

LAG COMPENSATION kills the online mode. Basically it over compensates people with worse internet connection so the faster internet person will have a lot of artificial delay despite having good ping.

I don't know if this is an issue for everyone else, but the audio for everything besides the clips is coming out only on the left side of my headphone.
Pirated FIFA 23 and i've modded that thing to my liking and play matches and cups with my sis and friends. None of us have felt this great playing a football game since PES 2012 or FIFA 14.
Made teams with icons and heroes, and downloaded a lot of faces for immersion. I've made the Barcelona FC women's team and I try to keep teams updated at least with the meaningful transfers.
Kinda sad to see so many people angry at the new game, or at least mad at the online portion of it.
Online is a hell of a drug and I don't recommend playing those modes to nobody since I saw what NBA 2k14 was trying...
Those are hellholes designed to keep you there grinding and sweating as long as they can.

I had more fun trying to grind out 40 weekend league games than 20 now. In those 40 games I’ll maybe see the same teams 3 times at most and god squads even in March maybe twice. Now everyone has the same team and game ending squads after two months of the game releasing.
I played fc24 with my friends last night. I got 20+ attempt to scoring but my shooting always no goal. And my friend has 5 attempt to scoring and all goal.
