The BeeGees are not only "Classic" they were the TOP of the "Classics" They wrote over 1,000 songs, for themself and MANY other Chart-Topping Musicians. They also have the 2nd highest selling Single Album in History - 63 MILLION. In their career together, they sold over 220
MILLION albums, so what they did seemed to work :-)

Nice reaction guys... This group were brothers. Beegees or BGs also means Brothers Gibb. The one in the middle is Barry Gibb. His voice is called Falsetto that's why he has that high voice. The other one is Robin Gibb(died 2012). He has also a distinct voice called Vibrato. And the other is Maurice (pronounce as Morris) Gibb(died 2003). Robin and Maurice were twins. They have also their youngest brother Andy Gibb (died 1988) who has a name of its own but sometimes he join his brother in one concert. This group has lot of great songs you can react to. Please react to their song "Too Much Heaven" , How Deep Is Your Love, I Started A Joke (for Robin's Voice) and many more.
    Thank you and nice reaction.

I think I was about 10 or so when this came out. Our teacher let us bring music to school to listen on Fridays, if we behaved ourselves. At my house we only played country music, that's all I ever knew, other than what came on tv, that we were allowed to watch. This blew my mind away, this was the first time listening to something really different. And, ever since that day, I never looked back, been listening to whatever I want, even if it's really different, even if it was something my grandparents listened to or something that just came out, wherever or whenever it's from, I'm just here to explore music. This is from a movie called "Saturday Night Fever" in 1977. People would leave the theater and go straight to the music store to buy the soundtrack. This was the first time that they ever saw anything like that, it changed everything after that, movie makers actually had to pay attention to the music, because that was more money they could be making if people bought the soundtrack as well as went to see the movie. Oh, and the Bee Gees are Australian.

This was the height of the Disco era 1975-1980. The Bee Gees started singing together when Barry was 8 and Maurice and Robin were 5. Look up the word "falsetto", then listen to a yodeler. The reason so many songs from the past sound so good is that you've been brought up listening to mostly "crap" and thinking that's all there is. Your parents and grand parents grew up listening to some of the best music ever performed. The Bee Gees had more #1 hits than Michael Jackson or the Beatles. Keep listening to some of the old classics. And get headsets. Anyone who listens to music without a headset just isn't serious about listening to music.

History Check: The subject matter of 'Stayin' Alive' is about survival in the streets of New York inspired by the Nic Cohn paperback Tribal Rites of the Saturday Night, who was the plot for the classic Saturday Night Fever Movie. Since 1977 it is now the biggest single from them with 31 million sales worldwide 😱 , passed How Deep is Your Love and Night Fever in certified sales six years ago. 👍
It is claimed from in a survey of all radiostations around the globe as most airplayed song of all time in 2017-every 20 seconds !!!! - this plays everywhere around the world and for sure it is the most iconic song of the 70´s decade. 🍾 It’s a part of our shared cultural heritage now - one of those pop miracles that just never gets old, never wears off, never loses its charge. It remains alive. And indeed one of the most covered pop songs in history
