Hey, when you play against Zahn, both rebel and imperial have to come together and crush the Zahn player before they can make a doom stack generator.
That didn’t happen early enough, so the outcome was… inevitable.

I love the consortium because it's so obvious they were some dude on the dev teams self insert. they legit have every cool unit in star wars canon, the best ships in the game AND they have a mechanic that basically makes them unbeatable

Honestly, the Zann Consortium is absolute cancer in Empire at War.
8:44 BTW I think what happened here is that in the first game, Vader wasnt in a super star destroyer he was in his elite tie fighter squadron.... I have no solid evidence but i remember reading back in like the 2010s that Autoresolve still thinks Vader is in his tie-fighter squadron
No, in auto resolve vader is considered as a ground unit
So what i'm hearing is always play out vader's battles. Got it
Its a problem in the EAW engine, it considers vader a ground unit first and foremost and so it counts him as a transport for the purpose of autoresolve.
it exists in a bunch of mods as well.
You know things are that bad when the Rebels and Empire join forces. The corruption really was more of a threat than the Death Star II ever was.
Hope to see more as this was so fun to watch. The Consortium really is completely fair and balanced. Hope to see Bo play them next time and show just how fair they are when in the hands of a pro.

Bo actually did kind of fuck himself with that death star rampage last video, Put a massive target on his back and he destroyed all the worlds he could have used to make money and produce units lol
Instead, he could have used it to blow up a few worlds as a Corruption buffer. Blown up worlds can't be corrupted. So practically, great for fleet/hero placement.
@@AAhmou Should've only gone for planets which only gave buffs to enemy units, not something he could've used for himself.

As far as I remember in EaW the Consortium is just objectively overpowered. Their units are incredible, their mechanics are extremely effective, and their heroes are ridiculous.

So glad these keep returning. A surprise to be sure but not unwelcome.
The thing with losing planets from removing corruption is that it depends on what kind of corruption it is which I'm sure you can check. I believe it was something like "local milita". Any other corrupted planet is fine to remove.

A 'nice' little bug a 'friend' got me with a while back is that for some reason the crusader class gunships are able to tear thru space stations like tissue paper. Perfectly balanced as all things should be.

The planet only revolt if Consortium does the Corrupt Millitia option when corrupting. Unless they change it in the mod, it can only be done at... *Reading the manual* Bondan, Corulag, Danthomir, Fondor, Fresia, Geonosis, Jabliim, Kamino, Kessel, Mustafar and Ryloth.
Any other planet should be safe to remove without fear.
You should see if you can do awakening of the rebellion multiplayer… an empire at war mod where the rebels and empire get some much needed buff changes and the pirate faction gets nerfed into the ground but are still somewhat playable
