- Kobes journey through the 2010 playoffs
Coming from Lower Merion High School and into the 1996 NBA Draft, Kobe Bryant was selected 13th overall by the Charlotte Hornets which made him the youngest (age 17) to ever be drafted in the NBA. He was later traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Vlade Divac. With hard-work and determination, Kobe emerged as a prolific shooting guard who would later be compared in similarities to one of the greatest players of the game - Michael Jordan.
He has since won 5 NBA Championship Rings, numerous awards and achievements - Slam Dunk Champion, Scoring Champion, All-Star MvP, and many more..along with becoming the undeniable vocal leader of the team.
Here are his some of his career achievements:
2000,2001,2002,2009,2010 NBA Finals Champion
2009,2010 NBA Finals MVP
2009,2010 NBA Western Conference Champion
2008 NBA Most Valuable Player
1997 NBA Slam Dunk Champion
1997 All Rookie Second Team
12-time NBA All-Star
11-time All-NBA Selection
8-time All-Defensive Selection
3-time NBA All-Star MVP
2-time NBA Scoring Champion.

mama there goes that man
There's no way lebron is better than kobe
keep yo ring
Wind Cloud read my name
In 2019 and lebron is still not better than Kobe
Fuck no he aint
Kobe would smoke lebron
I remember Jeff Van Gundy at some points when Kobe made shots with people on his face he'd be like "Mark, that was Hand Up Man DOWN!" I love that guy.
Can't wait for my lakers to get back in shape, Kobe GOAT
I miss this laker team with a passion! That was the definition of a REAL team. The 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 laker squad.
9:50 someone says "Stay on him Ray!" Bryant proceeds to drill the stepback 3 through smothering defense. Mamba stares down said someone.
this is what GREATNESS ALL ABOUT..
Man Kobe was the most complete player ever
kobe is the best player play after jordan's retirement :))
The definition of “you’re watching a master at work.”
Once Kobe is on fire u cant stop him no body can
how can you not respect this dudes game. I am a jazz fan and I hate the lakers but I can't help but respect the way this dude balls. Kobe is an assassin.
the real greatness is on kobes hand
RIP kobe and gigi :(
RIP. Been watching this video for years
man those celtics were hard on D
The greatest midrange player this game has ever seen. I always hoped that he would compete in the three point contest.
HE IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME IN MY EYES IN MY ERA THAT I AM IN. NO QUESTION ABOUT THAT NO DEBATE PERIOD
back at watching these videos all over again now that kobe is out and God knows when he'll be coming back.
I love seeing D-Wade saying Damn when Kobe hits that three. He knows about that Kobe Bryant three baby
If only Bynum could have stayed healthy they could have won it in 2008 and continued to compete after 2010. Injuries have really plagued Kobe and his teams for the last half decade.
+eskimo289 For a brief time, Bynum legitimately had a case as the best center in the league. He was good defensively and so far beyond any other centers offensive capabilities that you couldn't even come close to comparing another centers offensive game to his. It really is a shame that his passion for the game faded along with his injuries.
I remember that moment at 9:48 in this video that person yelling “ TRAVEL!” Yeah as Ray Allen was bumping Kobe and almost bumped him out of bounds. lol and was very satisfying to see him hit that difficult three and turn to the crowd.
That step back 3 in the corner at 9:50, And then the stair down to the fan after he hits nothin but nylon. Love that shit
🙌 Kobe Forever 🙌
Boy that deadeye has to be on gold lol
Djamal Sufi Hall of Fame
the best footwork in the leauge. no one ever did except mj
Kobe will never be Jordan but He will always be the one and only KOBE BRYANT
Those last five seconds.. CHILLS
wowww, watching this reminds me how much the triangle offense helped us. this is why we need phil.
If we only judged players based on footwork. Kobe would be the GOAT. This man would put you in trance with his beautiful footwork and strike you so hard and fast like a flash of lightning. This dudes flair was off the charts. Even his layups were harder than some soft dunkers.
i luvd the looks on the suns fans faces after that shot on the baseline at 4:55
He can still do it.
This video is evidence that Kobe Bryant is the best tough jumpshot maker in the history of basketball. Who else could have made those fadeaways and deep threes after a full regular season and playoffs, albeit with a fractured finger and bad knees. Top 2 all-time player.
Top 3 sg ever
1. Michael Jordan
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Julius Irving
+Dayon Guinyard 3.d wade
Yriyah Yriyah Julius Erving was a sf dude. Either way you forgetting Wade and Iverson
In 06 they both were fantastic statistically Kobe averaged 35 points 5 rebounds 5 assists and 2 steals. LeBron averaged 31 points 7 rebounds 7 assists 2 steals. But Kobe left the biggest mark on that year. 81 point game, outscored the mavs through 3 himself, longest streak of 40 point games ever, game winning shots, 50 point game streak...NBA League Pass subscriptions shot up when Kobe was doing what he did. People felt like they couldn't miss a minute of him. That gives him the edge in my book.
"Hand Up...Man Still Down"!!!!!
Kobe hit more tough jumpers in this one clip than lebron has hit during his entire career. lol
Those were the days!
Man Down every time no matter where the defender's hand is. Up, down, left, right is all the same
"Dwyane Wade Saying: That's A Bad Man, Momma!"
It's at the point where its not fair anymore. He is amazing
Jordan Kobe Magic Bird are basketball Gods. They are as good as it's going to get.
GOAT. No doubt in my mind.
KOBE THE BEST!!!!!
KOBE schools ray all day.
kobe bryant is the best player
At 5:45 a fan actually hit Kobe but he was so focus that he didn’t let little stuff like that bother him
bro i have been looking at basketball for a long time. i played a little of college and i coach. i have been through 3 1/2 eras of the nba and i have seen a lot of great players come and go. i will say this if you are talking about kobe all around as a player i have a couple ahead of him. now if you are talking about kobe the scorer then thats another story. i have kobe top 5 best ever when it comes to scoring.
Born to be a champion and a legend
NBA will not be the same without Kobe/
KOBE!!!!
kobe the clutches player ever
MAMA... THERE GOES THAT MAN !!
It's Kobe time.....
Kobe's the most technically gifted player ever. I can't think of one weakness in his game when he's 100% healthy. Kobe's moves and techniques are just amazing. He can shoot pretty much any shot, anywhere. I believe Jordan's the better overall player due to his freak athleticism, but Kobe is right behind him. But, Kobe's skill level is higher than Jordan's all things considered.
dwyane wade : " damn !! " :D:D
"Mama there go's that Man!!!!!!!!!!!"-Mark Jackson
there is no arguing how great kobe is...i mean he's top 5 all time...hell top 3 to me....there is no other player who takes over games like this on a consistent basis and he's doing it with JUMPERS...he may take alot of shots but real laker fans know that there are game when he takes like 2 shots in the 1st and defers to his teamates and when they are reluctant to take shots or are not making the shots they are given thats when he does what he does...THE MOST SKILLED PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY
I miss the 2008-2010 Laker squad, they had such great chemistry and understanding of eachother!
KOBE HAND UP..........STILL MANNNNNNN DOWNN
The Greatest.
doesn't everyone want a ring, it's not just Kobe.
Thanks for posting ... very cool
wow I don't get how anyone can hate on him. This video was SICK
I am a Kobe fan. Every time i watch these videos, i feel bad for the people guarding him, i mean com on, some of that is just not right.
Played like the best player in basketball history during that Suns series...if you fail to see that you haven't watched enough of your favorite player to see the huge gap in talent between any other player and Kobe that year.
kobe bryant is king!!!!!
kobe is sick, out kold.
That Phoenix series really showed his greatness.
Amen To That I totally agree.
Dywane Wade "That's a bad man momma!" LOL
he is the best.
thumbs up and subscribed cool video cool quality
RIP. Too son.
Pure Greatness
+JC goat video

33/6/5/2/61% TS--WCSF
34/9/7/2/61% TS--WCF

Amazing!
i would not be looking at kobe highlights on youtube if i did not like to see kobe play. yo did you see the game last night against the clippers? kobe was nice. he and bynum had a hell of a game.
Amazing video, thanks.
Hands up man.......... down
you know hes clutch when opposite team is cheering for you 05:24 LOL
omg...amazing.
this video says it all.
Kobe doing Work All Day, Erry Day!
Fisher Shoots Three : "Fail"
Kobe Shoots Three: "Good"! lmaoo Kobe is a beast
Kobe was also wearing 24 in his prime too.
I personally hate the lakers, but Kobe is clutch and a great player. Can't hate on that man.
LMFAO @ 10:58 if you look at the celtic's bench you see nate robinson yelling at perkins after he failed to defend kobe's fade away.
"Thats a Bad man Mama" hahhaaa funny shit!
dwayne wade shaking his head saying "godammit celtics i told y'all to break kobe's nose, that's the only way you can half way stop him."
Bynum and Gasol did step their game up in the 2nd round by getting more rebounds but Kobe went under and folded.Kobe rarely gets his teammates the ball and when he did pass his teammates the ball he passed from the 3-pt line.
Great job! Thank you author. K8B24 4life
thanks man
kobe has invented the quadruple threat position.
great vid ands music
That's a bad man, Mama!
koby going ham that suns game
This the best michael jordan video ever lol
kobe is so awesome. on a scale from 1-10 this video is a 32 and a half
Guys, The Suns Fan At 5:24 Is Not Cheering... He Is Basically Saying " Fuck"! Because Of Kobe Making That Shot
(cont...) They only won 42 games that year I think so its not like the 13-12 when he shot 30 shots is a good measurement because they played around that level period. Phil didn't call Kobe out for being selfish that year. He let Kobe go and than after the season told him "see you can't do it by yourself." Phil used that year to teach Kobe. And think about this, star players will most likely shoot more in losses because their teams will lean on them to do more in tough situations.
i wish we could still bully the young thunder like 2010 when they were young kids haha!
