The EN has a lot of upgrades that Hyundai say make it ready for track use on day 1. (OK, day 1 after the break in period). I can confirm that the stock brakes are up to track sessions with no fade, power is impressive, and shifting from the DCT is very strong...it even recognizes when you are on track and shifts harder. The fuel thing is not a concern, I have never had boost limited even switching between 93 and 87 and back. It happens automatically and is no big deal. I did have an issue with the car going into limp-mode after passing a slew of Corvettes and 911s. Apparently I was driving too hard and it needed a rest. The car was driveable and fixed itself after a few days, but not exactly 100% track ready. The exhaust sounds pretty good, but not as good as that Mustang!
Been a Mustang guy all my life, love them having owned 7, the last being a mid 9 second procharged '13. Was time to try something different so i picked up a DCT Elantra N last week and it is a hell of a lot of car for $35k.
@@B-Rok88 After trying to negotiate a sweet deal on a few and coming away with nothing I wound up paying $500 over MSRP. Might have been able to talk it down to MSRP but it was a long day and I wanted to get home.
@@djpollo2474 nobody wants to notice it’s crazy how many people I humble in my stock veloster N dct and yet people still hate that it’s a great car lol
They are quick but they can also make more power from the factor, The elantra has a stupid "feature" you do in order to gain more and maximize power and its called fuel learning. Basically EN has 16-17psi of boost but if you do fuel re learn it will hold to 20psi if you put 91 or higher octane and whats so stupid about it is that you have to do it every fill up
@@rickitysplitz7035 not slower I got one dct with jb4 and my son has 2019 mustang gt 10sp and I pulled on him 2cars 40 to 110. I also raced my good friend has a c7 z51 corvette on e85 tuned. Makes 489 wheel hp. We did 60-130 side by side he was pissed couldn’t believe it.
no... the Elantra is the white car gapping him in front lol. I love my EN. That is most likely Stock. 0-60 5sec give or take. It's fast and comes track ready from the factory

Stage 2 tune from n75 and would put the Elantra N at 305 and would smash.
The car is amazing. Can't wait to get one.
what kinda trash tune is that? bone stock they dyno 286 wheel with just a tune they make 320WHP
Please tell me that Elentra N is NOT stock. That is freaky if it is. Heck even if it isn't. Wow great driving vid!
As far as I could tell it is stock with sticky tires. Pretty impressive!
@@NeonDude20 Dang! I'm impressed. Welp ... time to CZcams the Elanta N.

Just pay and show up!
Holy smokes! Did he crash it at the end? Or just run off the road? Awesome video by the way!
The guy prolly messed up on a turn. The elantra N was fast as fuck. It was going over turns like nothing. Pretty fucking nuts.

He is following the Elantra N... it the one that went off track at the end.
