@@calltothesky2880 actually Holloween was originally celebrated as a new year and it was belived that the line between our world and the spirit world were thin. People dressed in "costumes" as you could say to apear as a spirit or I think to make you more like a spirit? Something like that. As time went on it was taken over by christians (like most pagan holidays) and they dressed up and sang to people. Some how now it has become about giving kids candy while they dress up🤷♀️

I kind of lost some respect for the interviewer. The girl said so many times, "I am not giving my candy." She was very clear. Because she's a child, her boundaries are not respected? Consent is about everything. This part was not cute or funny. It was annoying at best, and really just disrespectful.
I don’t think the child or her parents were as offended as you. He didn’t try to touch her body or anything malicious. I think he made a lighthearted joke about taking her candy.
