@@iamgorgeous Kids like honesty and can tell when you're putting on a character (whether it's disaffected coolness or overly-cutesy cartoonish). Just meet them at their level physically and emotionally and listen to what's important to them.

It's nice how you always ask the kids if they want to do things before acctually doing it. How many times we see kids beeing forced to say or do something by an adult. Even in the most simples things, like saying "I'm gonna bake a cake, come help me." instead of "Would you like to help me to bake a cake?"
I think one of my favourite things about these videos is hearing the parents/adults in the background crack up at what the kids are saying

It's so important to ask kids follow-up questions that help them develop their ideas, and Julian is brilliant at it.
I’m a noob at watching Recess Therapy, but I’m so impressed with Julian’s way of interacting with these kids. It’s clear they love him. Also, idk who does the editing for these videos, if it’s Julian himself or someone else, but it’s so funny. Like the “closed captioning confidence” percentages lol. This is heartwarming, funny, quality content I love to see.
