  • As someone who has been doing PPL for well over 2 years now, I think it's time to change it up... The Upper/Lower split is pretty sick not gonna lie 😉

ngl I like push pull leg split because you can work your muscles better because you'll be less sore most likely. The upper lower split does have its benefits of less time, but your muscles might not grow as fast as you have to workout a lot of your bodyparts in like 1 and a half hours and you are only strong usually for like the first 30 minutes and you aren't as strong. Also, I feel like PPL is somewhat better as if you have time throughout the day, you could workout like lets say after lunch for a certain muscle group and the other muscle group you could workout before dinner. Imo, Upper/Lower split is pretty good once your body gets used to it as you are working a lot of parts on the upper part of the split. Also, you trying this might help you though since you did the PPL for 2 years. Also, note you should be changing your workout every 6 weeks so your body has a new stimulus. Your body adapts to your workout very easily once you keep doing it if you didn't know. Anyways, hope this split is good for you!

These are all good point for sure. I think for me if I had more time I would have continued a variation of PPL but the main reason I switched to Upper Lower but my busier schedule. I think when I have more time I’ll switch back but this is working well for now!
