I have a 14 L99, 1 7/8 Headers, into Corsa full exhaust, GPI Ported/Mod manifold, ported TB and Rotofab intake. Dyno'd at GPI 404RWHP 416TQ was very happy with the results, They have the VVT tuning down to a science and highly recommend them if you're looking for the best of the best in terms of L99.

How much would a SS1 cam and E86 add? Something still daily friendly tho

@@mikehogan5087 Displacement on Demand, makes the car run on 4 cylinders for "gas mileage" but I had it tuned out, there's a physical way to remove it or delete it but it's usually done when doing a cam swap. May have been disabled in the "tune" or software but the parts are still physically in the motor. I've experienced no change in MPG.

@@AnthonyBautista-gf2ed GPI in Arkansas. Highly recommend if you have a L99 * Auto 5th gen Camaro ! They were awesome and got the car feeling like a beast. Breaking into the 400's was 100% because of their tune and the quality parts they sell. Highly recommend their Ported + Modded manifolds, easily the biggest reason why I was able to break into the 400's and avoid the 380RWHP Curse that all us Autos seem to fall into. So long to the old statement that our cars NEEDED a cam to break the 400's! #TeamGPI

Nice tune. My 2010 LS3 SS made 426 WHP with CAI, headers, high flows, and 3-inch exhaust. The pull was also made in 100-degree weather, so I might've been able to tag on another 5-10 hp with cooler weather.

Great video man! Ive got a 2011 L99 im looking at doing FBO with and couldnt find a video anywhere of what the gains would look like, Really appreciate you taking the time to go through this.

Nice man. My 2013 L99 2SS made 370whp & 385tq. Spectre cai, speed engineering 1 3/4 catless LT headers, resonator delete and dynomax race bullets to replace the rear factory mufflers. I wanted to see if I could make power without breaking the bank and it worked for me. Btr cam upgrade will be next

Very glad to see an L99 dyno. I have a similarly modded 2011 2SS and was curious what my numbers might be. Plans for a cam and bigger throttle body in the future. Great video.

Great videos! I have a 2012 L99 with almost identical mods. I love seeing what you are actually doing in the tune. I've street/strip tuned mine with HP tuners and am wondering if you raise the redline on L99's with just bolt ons? I've read some guys saying not to raise it on the L99. Thanks!

360 is pretty good for a L99 with long tube headers catback and cold air intake and a good tune my 2011 Camaro SS with a built 6L80e transmission and a Circle D 4200rpm stall converter one piece aluminium driveshaft with a new GM performance LS3 495 horsepower crate engine with CNC ported and milled LS3 heads11.1 compression running on E85 with a sheet metal intake 102mm throttle body and ZL1 injectors and fuel pump with a catless 1 7/8 stainless long tube headers and a 3 inch X pipe into 3 inch Flow FX mufflers coming out the stock location with stock 3.27 gears and a 25 percent underdrive pulley made 430 at 6200rpm and 410 torque at 5000rpm to the wheels on a Mustang dyno your numbers seems to be inline with real world number some of these guys with a L99 or LS3 stock with bolt-ons are claiming 450 rear wheel horsepower l don't believe it maybe 380 on a manual LS3 noticed your Nickey Chevrolet banner I'm from the Chicago suburbs am 59 years old and remember Nickey Chevrolet l have lived in Florida now since 1990 like watching 5th Gen Camaro upgrades have had my 2011 Camaro close to a year now was the original owner of a blue 1984 Monte Carlo SS that l had 37 years that was LS2 swapped in 2008 that l sold in December 2021 to buy the 2011 inferno orange Camaro SS l have now

@@Ws6Ms my car has a new GM performance LS3 495 horsepower crate with CNC ported and milled LS3 heads running on E85 the upgrades are listed in the earlier post it's not a L99 it does have a built 6L80E auto with a Circle D 4200rpm stall converter and it made 430 to the rear wheels at 6200rpm and 520 at the crank at 6200rpm without accessories with 26 degrees of timing so if your basically stock LS3 with bolt ons makes 410 and my car only makes 20 more horsepower with the hot cam and 11.1 compression ratio that's amazing with 6 eighth mile passes it went 7.22 at 96mph with 1.65 60 foot times and with more testing and passes it could probably go high 6.90s - 7.0s at 98mph naturally aspirated and weighs 3920 with me in it car only had 1200 miles on it at the time of these passes will be making more passes in February or March of 2023 car will probably have 1600 miles and be more broken in and have its 3rd oil change with the engine and all the upgrades l have 16,000 dollars not including the price of the car in upgraded parts not labor in my car for 20 more horsepower l guess

@@Ws6Ms so your car is factory rated at 430 crankshaft horsepower and it puts 410 of it to the wheels with bolt-ons my LS3 495 horsepower crate engine with a load of upgrades makes 520 horsepower at the crank and only 430 to the wheels running on E85 is worth 15-20 horsepower so basically your telling me if my car was running a 93 pump gas tune instead of the E85 tune that your stock LS3 would make the same rear wheel horsepower as my modified GM performance LS3 495 horsepower crate engine and a bolt on L99 only makes 360 with long tube headers and full cat back exhaust

At the end of the day, we really try and focus on the gains after installing different parts and tuning. vs. just the end result. This car had a lower baseline than an average l99, and came in a little lower that the average bolt on l99. In the end though, the gain we saw was strong for just headers and intake.
