9th gen civic si second gear grind fix

So drag racing a few weeks back. I was redlining first went to shift into second. It wouldn’t let me shift and ground. So I did some digging around watching videos. So I finally tried it. In my situation it fixed the problem. Tools required to do this are a 17mm wrench and a 12mm wrench. It takes about 15-20 minutes max. Disclosure I’m not responsible if this doesn’t fix your issue.

How many threads should there be showing on the push rod? I see that on yours it shows about 4-6 threads if im not mistaken.

Fredy Hernandez the push rod you turn until it starts to get tension then you stop and tighten up the nut.

My Civic 2013 si 2nd gear pops out sometimes and grind as the gear pops out

If your gear pops out synchro is trash. Will have nothing to do with pedal adjustment.
