I miss Reunion. Solid video. Love the channel. Only thing I would add to this is NOT letting the hand path shift OUT on the downswing. This is the classic mistake in golf. Steepens shaft, forces an over the top motion, the body then responds to that in not so great ways. The fix is keeping the hand path more in/vertical. Trust that the body's rotation will deliver the shaft to the proper area by P6.
So to summarize: don't knife the butt of the club at the ball. Don't shift the hands out towards the ball in the start of the downswing. The hands need to travel vertically downward, like an elevator. This plays a huge role in shallowing the shaft properly. You'll also get rewarded now for rotating your body and for closing the face relative to the path.

Josh, fascinating and helpful video. There was a small pop up box that indicates the golf swing is not a throwing motion. There are so many CZcams videos comparing the golf swing to a throwing motion. Is your concern the right hand/arm will throw the club outside the line and over the top?

For pure speed a stronger grip for sure. I don’t recommend a strong grip for everyone though.
