  • Thought I'd try my hand at building the Airfix 1:72 Jeep and redo the scheme to something resembling the SAS desert teams in WW2
Had a spare Bedford Truck, of the same scale from another kit, so built the two together to complete the diorama
To finish the scene I took some of my older 8th Army Tamiya figures, again 1:72, and with a little bit of fettling and fiddling I added them to the scene too
I hope you enjoy this video; apologies for the lengthy run time, I did get a little carried away 😁

The canvas rolls on the bonnet were very clever, one of my upcoming projects will definitely have some of those. I like the open hatch too.
    A good little diorama.

Thanks Ian. I cheated with the paper/canvas as that was left over from the D-Day diorama. The open hatch was a celebration of a rather lovely sausage casserole I had a few nights back and the aluminium foil was suddenly an inspiration follow up during dessert 😂🤣

Thank you - the graphics and the sound are, I hope, getting better as I learn more about the software. Old dog and new tricks!!!
