- A good friend of mine at work saw this kit in a charity shop and immediately thought of me - which was good of him!
So, being as gentle as I could I had fun building this almost antique kit on this video
Really enjoyed adding my own touches (seat belts, magazines) to the model and especially enjoyed the quality of manufacture despite the age of the kit
Hoping you enjoy this video as much as I did making it
Cheers 👍
Looks good Paul, another fine build. Like others I've never heard of Immelman kits before, you've certainly done justice to this one mate. “cùm iad a’ tighinn”
I must confess it's a brand I've not heard of before either. I've googled the brand and it seems they're now owned by Hobby Boss? I don't know, but it was very good quality for sure
Paul food for thought, Scalemates has your kit listed as a Fujimi model, as “Fujimi 1/72 F13-800 Ju-87B/R Stuka Immelmann Model Kit”
Sturzkampfgeschwader 2 (StG 2) Immelmann was a Luftwaffe dive bombing squadron wing of World War II. It was named after the WWI aviator Max Immelmann, he was the first German World War I flying ace. Hope this helps.
Great result with the Stuka "H" 👏. I really like building older kits. I know many folk don't like " Raised Detail " but I don't really mind them. I like to subtly highlight raised rivets by giving them a light rub with a H.B. Pencil to bring out the detail. What ever your preference you've certainly done Justice to this old Kit. 👍
Cheers Dean - the old decals were a little troublesome, but despite that, what a superb kit and charity shop find 😁😁
@@HPaulModels Gotta love a bargain !...nothing cheap about that result however...🏆...even if the Decals played " hard to get ",...in the end I guess, that's half the fun.😜 🍻
