God Edward’s life before being a pirate always pulls on my heart especially when he says “don’t give up on me Caroline, not when I need your faith the most” and when he says/yells in the hallucination “you left when I needed you the most”

I read the Ac4 book, it shows that Edward wanted to be rich for Caroline causes she left her wealthy life for him. Also, Edward is not a womaniser compared to the Ac trailers. He remained a loyal husband at West indies.

There's a scene where Edward is talking to, I want to say Hornigold before he betrays them, and Hornigold says something akin to: "You keep fawning over one lass back in Bristol when you could have your choice of any betty right here and now." And Edward responds that he's not that kind of man.

Edward was one of my favorite assassins, he is so human, so understandable, he goes through things that most of us go through every day.

1:54 this is such powerful imagery Edward has such ambitious personal hopes throughout the game and usually in films/games the hero looks out on a sunset hoping to be more than what they are,
Edward says: “I want food that don’t make me sick, I want walls that hold back the wind, I want a decent life”
These extremely personal ambitions allow us too connect with Edward and understand why he turns to piracy in the Caribbean
when Edward looks out the window nothing can be seen as it’s impossible to remain successful and happy when you only pursue purely selfish goals a lesson he will learn later in the game.
This was the only credits scene I ever sat all the way through.
at 7:08 on the french translation of the game he says "Only a little one i hope.....I've seen enough for one life."

Some important stuff about Edward's past are left out (probably for times sake) in the game
Example the flash backs implies that Edward has always been a greedy pirate but he was just trying to provide for his wife because she'd given up a life of wealth to be with him

yeu si how Edward met haythem's mother is not explained in either of the black flag book nor the forsaken book (which is the book on assassin's creed 3 but only follows haytham)
Edward was attacked in his home in London by templars and killed haytham at a young age was recruited to the order by the man who ordered the attack and Jennifer was kidnapped for a couple of years
Haythem recues her when he's all grown up and well trained
Learns who ordered the attack, he and Jennifer kill him
Also haytham's mother is tessa kenway but again as far as the story goes she's not really important

Haytham and Jennifer both get revenge after that.
Well Edward goes back to London and starts a brotherhood there with Milo, who Haytham stole his hidden blades from and killed at the start of AC3.
Who wouldn’t have thought that Kenways Son is the bigger enemy in assassins creed three.
He should’ve throw that little shit down when he the chance. Just kidding, I really like Haytham despite he’s a Templar. Just like how I don’t like every assassins in the game.

Edwards life, as an anology of course, is so much like a real life. First, he left his primal family, his original home, to seek fortune, himself, his life. Lying to them and himself that he will return. On his way, he met new family, found a new home, but he had to chase whatever he believed is his goal to the point, where he lost everything and everyone he gained along his way. And only then, when he had nothing to lose and nowhere to return, he started a new family, provided home and 'found what he was looking for', because he had no more reason to go seek something in the world.

The Kenways did not have a happy course. Edward lost a wife who loved him for who he was and was happy with him because of his inability to appreciate what he already had, lost all his friends to life and betrayal, found a new family and lost them when he was betrayed and murdered by a trusted friend who he did not realise was the Templar Grand Master. Haytham lost his father, mother and sister, became a Templar, stayed one and died at his own son's hands because he couldn't let go of the Templar cause even after he found out how much it ruined his life. Jennifer Scott lost her mother, father, stepmother and brother and was sold into sexual slavery by her betrothed, endured years of degradation and lived the rest of her days as a bitter and resentful spinster. And Connor............ he lost his mother, father, mentor, best friend, village and entire people, but found love in time and had children and lived happily with them.
And desmond too, he’s a kenway cuz he’s their descendant, and he had a sad life too

Well right after this ending, Edward is killed by templars, Jennifer is sold into sex slavery and Haytham is taken by Birch so not exactly a happy ending tbh.
Ethan Mark Edward states that he never loved rackum saying he wasn’t much of a friend but the point is he had a family to go back to and settle down with after the main story ended whereas other Assassins creed protagonists are left alone in the world like Arno and Connor, they do have other side characters but never a family to settle down with and although Edwards end will come in 1735 this game does end on a sweet note with Edward fathering his son

The reason why Edward wasn't living comfortably or modest is because of his low class origins, and his brief life of a Privateer (which is a very minimum wage in his time). Which is why he became a Pirate.

Reginald birch wouldn't be classed as part of the Kenyway family. Because, he never married Jennifer, because she found out he was a Templar and told her father Edward. So Edward called off the engagement, in order to protect his daughter life.
In fact, Emmett Scott was more than willing to sell his own daughter as a sex slave, as she didn't agree with her betrothal to Matthew Hague, as he was the archetypical spoiled brat who liked to believe himself better than everyone else.
Arranged marriages can be easily seen as just a glorified form of sex slavery.

There was a scene in the book where Edward meet his mother and damn i cried hard a lot reading and playing this one.
Also, in the Ac4 book, he gets revenge from his wife death. And he is not a womaniser in the game, or in the trailers. He never slept with any woman. He did have feelings for Anne, but he never made a move on her. Cause he was married to Caroline.

What He wanted was a decent life but ended up with pirates life and from that pirate life he searched for redemption with an assassin's life and with that came the decent life but only to lose his life because of his assassin's life and so his son would have a templars life
He wanted the life she left and she wanted him.
I played black flag but I lost it before I got to the end and never got around to buying a new one, so I always thought that Haytham was the first born of Edward's children.
Parting Glass only made a great ending into one of that of true beauty.
What if the reason Edward never tells Jenny that him and is crew are pirates is because he remembers all the good men and women he lost due to that lifestyle and doesn't want to see her end up like they did?

Why don't they make films based on the Assassin's creed series of games? I would be so glad to see a film adaptation of this game, such well-staged scenes and dialogues, this is art. Everyone watches movies, but not many people know about this game, then why not make a good movie?
There’s already a shite movie,and I doubt they’d be able to make movies based off all the games
I doubt they could fit it into a movie. These are around 10-15 hour adventures with a lot of travel, characters, and worldbuilding. I haven’t seen the one movie they did make but I’m guessing the reason they wrote something totally new was to avoid that issue. It could definitely work as a series though. Apparently there’s a few coming from Netflix in the future. I’d love if they took us through Edward’s time in the British Brotherhood and maybe getting Matt Ryan back to play him, so much potential
